I ordered delivery and the food was pretty good. I ordered two beef kofta lunch specials and an order of sambosa. The beef was tasty and the rice was cooked well. The roasted tomato on the side was absolutely delicious. The sambosa didn't travel as well as it wasn't crispy when it arrived but was still really good. I appreciated that they didn't skimp on the white and green sauces. I really enjoyed their version of the green sauce. I've never had one quite like this. It was a little bit spicy, but extremely wonderfully tangy. I would definitely order again. I will probably try the chicken tikka next time.

Really nice service, super flavorful and juicy. Clean and nice atmosphere! Would go back again just to finish trying everything on the menu :-)!

I use to love coming here till my recent experience. The food is so good, it's been years since I've dined in. I decided to stop in and I was really confused by the service charge of 18%. The waiter couldn't explain why I was being charged this fee all he did was pass me the owners card and told me to contact them directly. I didn't take the card. His professionalism was poor and he could have just explained why I was charged a service fee. I was dining alone. As good as the kebabs are I won't be coming back here.

Every time we come here we are treated like family. Great service and generous portions. Everything is fresh and delicious. My go-to place in Flushing

    11/15/22 - Combo 1 w. Mixed Brown & White Rice

My coworker and I decided to order some food from Kabul via UberEats. We decided to order the same thing, a Chicken Kebab Combo with Mixed Brown and White Rice, Extra Sauce and I also got Sambora. Combos serves 1-2 people and consists of your choice of any two kebabs from a entree, rice (white, brown, or green), and a salad. If you want to add Qabeli (raisins and carrots) to your rice it's a $3 charge. If you want to upgrade your complimentary green salad for a Shirazi Salad (chopped cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, and mint) there's a $4 charge. The food was delicious. Well seasoned but overpriced for the amount they charge for the combo. Also they should allow you to add just a kebab without all of the bells and whistles. I wouldn't recommend the sambora. It was an oily mess.

Kabul Kabab House has some solid food at very reasonable prices. I got 3 lunch specials and read some reviews that it might not be enough food but it was more than adequate at a great value as well. If I had to pick, I liked the chicken kabab a lot better than the beef kabab. It was a lot more moist, albeit the beef wasn't bad. The standout IMHO was the green sauce- it was a lot spicier than most places and hit the spot (is that still a cool thing to say)? All in all, I will definitely get takeout if not visit this fantastic place one day if I'm in the area.

Food was good the only thing I don't understand is I thought restaurants was suppose to give you a glass of water I ask for two waters he gives me bottles that I had to pay for like when I went here 5 years ago they would at least give you water and then a salad before you get your meal which I didn't get I don't know if these guys fell off or something besides that the food is good

I went here for lunch on a weekday to try it out. Walking in, I wish there was better music or even Afghan music to liven up the place as there were nature sounds playing and it didn't suit the restaurant. I think that would help the ambiance a lot. The food was amazingggg. The meat was seasoned well and tasted delicious. I noticed they were preparing a lot of take out orders but that didn't affect the service we received. Would definitely eat here again!

Tried Kabul Kabab for the first time because of a friend recommendation and overall I'd give it a solid 4/5. I tried the barg and and my friend tried the chicken. The barg was very tender. Be sure to ask for medium rare or else is going to be super overcooked! I also tried the carrot and raisin rice, and it wasn't really folded into the rice. I wouldn't recommend it at all. Just order the brown rice which is what my friend did. We also tried the appetizer trio. It came with the samoas, hummus, and eggplant appetizer. Unfortunately, I wasn't a fan of any of the appetizers. The babaganoush wasn't really babaganoush. It had a tomato sauce mixed in and just wasn't the dish I expected. All in all I'd say that the meat was great! But everything else was ok. Solid 4/5 because of the meat quality

Salmon and Lamb Tikka Combo Platter over Brown Rice
    Tammer L.

We went here on Tuesday once they opened. We were the first customers for the day, and they were very nice to us. We noticed that the decor in the restaurant was very friendly and there were nice pictures. We asked for water, but they said they only sold bottles and gave us a water bottle in the house. Then, we ordered the sambosas and a combo platter with salmon and lamb tikka. They had pita bread with butter as the free appetizer. The butter was good and had a hint of lemon or some herb that made it unique. The sambosas were so good, especially with the spicy green sauce. The platter didn't have much variety; however, it came with a lot of delicious brown rice. The salmon was excellent and flavorful, but the lamb was a little dry and chewy. Overall the food was good, and we would return for the sambosas and try the other meats.

Was my first time ordering here. Chicken was very dry and bland. The rice also just tasted like herb , no savory tasty flavor that I am used to when I order kebabs. Price was also on the higher side , close to 20 dollars for 1 person meat rice. I would recommend getting chicken over rice at any halal cart and it will taste way better and cost less than half the price. Would not come back for sure.

This place used to be my go to for fresh grilled kebabs. It's gotten more expensive and smaller portions over time. I got the beef tikka recently and it was $21 for 4 pieces of beef and all rice. The beef was overall dry and can't recommend this place anymore to others.

It's a small place with around six tables and three staff members (two in the kitchen and one taking orders, serving, bussing, and cleaning). Not the most glamorous vision of a restaurant, right? But the food is tasty! We had the summer rolls, peppered calamari, the signature pho, and the beef short-rib pho. The summer rolls and calamari were good, you could taste the freshness of the veggies and shrimp. I wish the calamari had been a bit crispier and seasoned with a touch more salt and pepper, but it was still very good. The real reason I'll be coming back is the pho broth. Some people might describe it as slightly sweet, but to me, it had a rich, balanced flavor. I'm not sure if the short rib is available all the time (it does have a lot of fat, as beef short rib often does), but it was flavorful. Definitely coming back to try more.

Areas of improvement - don't bring out the main dish first and the appetizer next. It's senseless. There was a party of 11 that came in. Incredible Uyghur food not just for Flushing standards but for the entire city as a whole…read more Everything here is halal so that's a nice plus. Went with a group on a Thursday evening, and the place is fairly small with about 10 or so tables. There was only one server but since there was only one other occupied table, this wasn't an issue. Service was prompt and friendly and our server was willing to explain things to some in our group who weren't very familiar with Uyghur cuisine. The space also had nice vibes, clean with understated and tasteful decor on the walls. We had to get the special laghman because this spot is known for that, and you get the option of either lamb or beef. We ordered both varieties and they were both delicious. The meat was tender and they're loaded with fresh vegetables, with the mushrooms being a highlight. The sauce in particular was incredibly rich and savory and I was tempted to get an additional order of noodles on the side just to enjoy the sauce some more. It was that good. Others in our group ordered the stir fried noodles which I got to try; it wasn't saucy like the laghman but it was equally delicious. We also ordered the lamb dumplings, which was probably the weakest dish of the night. They weren't bad, and for $15 you get a large plate of them, meant to be shared or enjoyed as an entree. It's just that for the area you can get better dumplings for a cheaper price. I probably wouldn't order these again when I return, but the chili oil and black vinegar elevated them a bit. But the real highlight of the night had to be the lamb kebabs, spelled kawap here, served on skewers. They are $5 a pop, so they're not exactly cheap but they are worth every penny. Grilled and seasoned to perfection with tender meat, I genuinely think these are the best lamb kebabs I've had in the city, and I've had a lot from dining at many Middle Eastern restaurants. These blow them all away. If you visit, make sure to get one or two skewers for yourself along with your entree. Finally we had some milk tea, served in a bowl and not a cup like you might expect. It was rich, decadent, a little salty, and a great way to end a great meal. All in all, loved my experience here and I'm eager to go back.

Everything 5/5, I would come back. Came here with my partner around 1PM on a Saturday for AYCE KBBQ at $43 per adult. Unlike other KBBQ joints, the servers cook for you here. Sorry, not as many pictures as I had hoped for because I got lost in the eating... lol. Ambience: On the outside, store was inconspicuous but on the inside there was quiet K-pop music, lighting was warm/soft, and there were not many people. Food: Sides and appetizers were unlimited. The julienne pickled radish and carrots were amazing. The GF loves cheese steamed egg but I don't eat dairy. I recommend the addicting fried rice cake. There were some dull lettuce leaves but most were vibrant appearing, everything was clean. For meats, we tried to go down the list for beef cuts but got too before we could try everything. We ordered - Thin cut brisket: My favorite cut especially to start with. Thin so it cooks fast, tender, not too fatty. Not marinated so goes well with salt and pepper. - Hanger steak: Not marinated but simple, classic, and great with salt and pepper. Some pieces were tougher than others. - Finger meat: Not a fan, maybe the tendons in the meat made it tough to chew and hard to eat with the lettuce wrap. - Soy marinated short rib: Good. Light sweet marinade that wasn't overpowering and retained the meaty flavor. - Soy marinated beef bulgogi: Decent. Would say the bulgogi definitely absorbed too much sauce and a little on the saltier side which kind of overpowered the natural flavor of the meat. Service: AMAZING, best service I've ever received at a restaurant. The server clearly took pride in his work. Recommended to us where to sit to not get splashed by oils from the grill. He anticipated all of our needs. He saw I was getting garlic out of my GF's plate and brought me a separate massive plate of garlic (I am a glutton).
