Imma repeat customer. This time, I orderes a lunch special via Uber Eats. It wasn't windy cold day so my food was still hot when it was delivered. I ordered the goat curry special which came with a side of dal, bread rice and a sweet kulab gaman for $17. The goat meat was tender, the curry isn't hot or spicy, the dal had a hint of spice from mustard seeds, rice was cooked and fluffy. I used the bread to sop up all the food from tray. SO delicious!! With Uber Eats costs and tips, it cost around 25$.
This place is cute and has nice music playing. Service can be hit or miss. Mostly with getting more water. 1 bottle is not enough to fill 4 glasses. Food is pretty good, but can definitely run spicy. I love spice do I do not mind. Had the Lasooni Gobi and the Shahi Paneer. Very flavorful. I am not really a rice person but I loved how it soaked up the sauce. Garlic naan is always good.
Food was good. Not many vegetable dishes available. Service was alright. Ambiance was good, well decorated for the space. Aloo gobi 4.5/5 Butter chicken 4.5/5 not too sweet
This is the perfect spot to stop before going to a concert at Forest Hills. I came here with a friend on a Saturday around 4:45 p.m. and was not disappointed. It wasn't that crowded at that time to our pleasant surprise. We started off with samosas which were perfectly cooked. The waitress kept trying to bring us more samosas even though we only ordered one. I had the tikka makhani, which was on the sweeter side and could have used a bit more heat. The chili garlic naan, however, was delicious and really brought balance to the meal. The restaurant interior is clean and well-organized. Service was friendly, but on the slower side. Prices were decent for Queens, and the portions pretty large (neither one of us finished our curry).

Yummy! We ordered butter chicken and chicken tikka masala. Food was delicious. They give complimentary chips. The servers were kind, we got our food fast. I loved the ambiance of the store and music. Definitely coming back and trying more!

We've ordered plenty of times from Tikka N Talk and enjoyed their food in the past. However, after tonight's take out order, I may have to order something else. The size of their entrees, particularly the Malai Kofta is small. To add insult to injury, it took an hour past the estimated wait time for them to finish preparing the food for the delivery person.
I love TNT! Even though my first experience here wasn't the best, my 2nd one was awesome. Not only did they get my order right, but they also followed special instructions. In addition, the manager and staff members are extremely pleasant and professional..such a pleasure ordering from here! Good food and good service, what more can you ask for?? :-)

They had a brunch menu with really affordable options ($10-$15 and comes with chai/coffee), as well as an extensive menu with things I've never seen before (qabuli naan). They started with sauces and complementary Crackers (it's very similar to the Mexican puffed crackers). I ordered the chickpea poori dish (waiter said that this was a little bigger than the bhature), which paired nicely with the tamarind sauce. The dish was lighter in flavor which made it a good brunch option I thought and came with 2 pillowy deep fried breads which were the best part of the meal I thought. The chai had a bit much milk but was actually brewed from leaves. Also ordered the chicken korma, which was much more buttery than nutty in taste. It was still decent and comes with basmati rice, but the chicken was overcooked. Would come back to try other things.
Think we might've found our new go to spot for Indian food in Queens! We had a bit of difficulty locating the restaurant because Google Maps dropped us off at the end of the block, but Tikka N Talk is a little further in and downstairs. We ordered the chicken tikka masala (mild), chicken vindaloo, and chicken biryani. The tikka masala here is SO good, but I think we'll order it a little spicier next time. We were thinking that the vindaloo would be super spicy, and we'd need something mild. The vindaloo was really flavorful & had a kick to it, but we could probably ask them for a bit more spice as well. Portions here are generous, well priced, and there's a good amount of chicken. The chicken biryani was unfortunately the one thing that was just okay to us. None of the flavors/spices were particularly noticeable, and it was a bit bland even with the raita. Highly highly recommend the garlic naan here - SO good. Service was friendly and attentive, and our waitress kindly addressed any questions we had. Cash & card are both accepted. Parking is a bit difficult.
The Food The cooking here is the real thing -- not the flattened, one-note version of Indian food that so many places settle for, where everything arrives tasting vaguely of the same sauce. At Tikka n' Talk, the spicing has genuine architecture. Each dish has its own personality, its own balance, its own arc from first bite to last. You taste individual spices rather than a generic wall of heat, and there's a depth underneath that only comes from someone who actually knows what they're doing. The tikka is outstanding and lives up to the name -- properly charred at the edges, smoky from real high-heat cooking, and still tender inside. That combination is harder to pull off than it looks, and getting it right every time takes skill. The curries have body and complexity. Sauces that have clearly been built rather than assembled, with layers that reveal themselves as you eat. Nothing is greasy, nothing is heavy in the bad way, and nothing tastes like it came out of a can. The bread deserves its own mention. Fresh, blistered, warm -- the kind you keep tearing off pieces of long after you're full. The Room and the Service The name isn't accidental. This is a place designed for lingering, and the atmosphere delivers on it. Warm, comfortable, and genuinely welcoming without being fussy. It's the kind of room where conversation flows easily, where you settle in without noticing an hour has passed. The staff are a huge part of that. Warm, attentive without hovering, and clearly happy you came. They know the menu cold and will steer you well if you ask -- including on spice levels, which they'll actually calibrate to what you want rather than defaulting to whatever's easiest. That kind of care shows up everywhere in the experience. Food comes out hot, timed well, and exactly as ordered. Basic things, but plenty of places fail at them. The Bottom Line Tikka n' Talk is the rare restaurant that's excellent on every axis at once -- the cooking is skilled, the room is inviting, and the people running it obviously care. It's become a regular for us, and I recommend it without hesitation to anyone who asks where to eat. If you haven't been, go. Order more than you think you need. Stay a while -- the name is an instruction, and it's good advice. Highest possible recommendation. read more
I just wanted to update my review. We had lunch here and ordered their lunch special. Their chicken of the day was a choice of Tikka Masala, vindaloo or curry. I got the tikka masala. The plate was very filling. It was a little carb heavy but it was tasty. The waitstaff was attentive. Inside is larger than it looks. It was a good lunch special. read more

Awesome and friendly service. They were very attentive and informative as my friend had a few questions regarding some of their drinks and dishes. The waiter always had a smile on his face. The food was really good, my favorite was the Dahi sevi puri appetizer and the garlic chili naan. The mango lassi was awesome it had a lot of mango flavor and was thick, not so diluted like some other places can make it. Half of the place still seemed to be under renovation, but the completed half was very aesthetic and had a nice ambience, however I noticed since we were sitting near the kitchen I could hear some of the kitchen staff communicating about orders and sometimes it seemed a bit chaotic, it would create a nicer ambience if they were able to diffuse the kitchen noise away from the guests. Other than that, I would definitely return if I was in the area and back in Queens! read more

Great Indian food with good portions and price point! They have great deals on their lunch specials and reasonably priced entrees, sides and appetizers. We ordered their palak paneer, chicken tikka masala, and garlic naan to share between two people. It was the perfect amount of spice for us and a decent portion. We loved the flavors of both entrees but the garlic naan fell a little short and tasted of only freshly chopped raw garlic as opposed to buttery and fragrant. The servers were attentive and it was a great place to catch up over lunch with a friend. Overall, will be back to check out lunch specials and try their other dishes! read more
First time trying this place and I'm very impressed with the service and the food. The wait staff quickly seated us, was very friendly and was able to answer all of our questions and make recommendations. I love me some vindaloo and this does not disappoint in any way. I especially like my vindaloo spicy, not American spicy, really spicy. This was the best Indian food I've had in about the past decade. The lunch special came with naan, daal, golub jam and basmati rice. It was the perfect portion and everything was perfectly seasoned. Ambiance was very chill but I can see it turning romantic in the evening. Decor was pretty with a lot of Christmas decorations. Overall I'm very pleased with the service and food. Parking was a bit of a pain, but it's close to public transportation. Can't wait to come back for more. read more

I was in the mood for some Indian food and checked yelp for some recommendations. This spot had some great reviews so I decided to check it out. I ordered directly from Yelp and picked it up since it was close to my home. The décor of the restaurant was very cute and modern. There were some cool areas to take some pics so I will definitely return to experience dining indoors. They have a small variety of lunch specials which were very affordable. I decided to get the lamb with rice, veggies and naan. The food was tasty and hearty. It wasn't too spicy and it I actually had a little leftover that I finished off the next day. I will definitely return to check out some other menu items. read more

I stopped by Tikka n Talk for a Monday night dinner and had a great time. We just walked in and there were a few tables taken but it was quiet and nice. The customer service was great, everyone we interacted with was nice and I have no complaints. The food was really great too. Even before it came out, you can smell how amazing it was going to be. I ordered the chicken 65 which had the perfect amount of spice and the chicken tikka masala came out hot and creamy. I've eaten at Tikka N Talk a bunch times now, and their dishes never disappoint. I've tried a number of dishes from their menu, and each one is as good as the next. As far as appetizers go, the chicken and veggie samosa are delicious. They're incredibly flavorful, they've got a little kick (for me, at least), and the're a great serving size. The dish comes with two, so they're great to split with someone else. The Dahi Sev Poori and Papri Chaat dishes are similar in taste, but different in presentation. Both delicious, but I liked the Papri Chaat more. They remind me of nachos--just with chickpeas, potatoes, and other spices. We had a piece of Naan with the Dahi Sev Poori because there is a lot of sauce/liquid that goes with it. We've tried the Chicken 65 dish, too, but it was too spicy for me. I couldn't eat it. My husband really enjoyed it though. As far as entrees go, our go-to is the Murgh Biryani. It's delicious and filled with so much flavor. I've also tried a couple of their brunch dishes. The Masala omelette is really flavorful, and the Vada Pav was unlike anything I've tried before. Dessert wise, I've tried the Gulab Jamun. These were really delicious, too. Everything I have tried from Tikka N Talk has been delicious, and there's lots more on their menu that I'm looking forward to trying. Their serving sizes are also really generous; my husband and I normally share the dishes we order. read more

My teenager had requested Indian food. We happened upon this cool restaurant with IG worthy photo spaces. In addition to delicious food. We are met with multicolored honeycomb and three sauces to accompany. Tamarind was our favorite. My teen was in the mood for vegetable samosas, garlic naan x2 and butter chicken. Just wow! 10/10 experience with the food and service. We went here for dinner on a Monday night because my mom was craving South Asian food. I saw this place get an amazing review by someone else on Facebook and its close by.... in comparison to Jackson Heights. So we figured, why not?! Food & drink: Proportions were bigger than we thought they were going to be! We had enough to take home for another family meal. Flavors were spot on; cook was just right on all the meats we ordered; naan & rice were all fabulous. I really have 0 complaints except that I wish our table was bigger to hold all the dishes at once! Lol. Interior: This location is huge. Plenty of dine-in seating. There wasn't a lot of people there when we went but that GrubHub or DoorDash alert system was constantly ringing! Service: Service was fast, friendly, and attentive! So YES. Went here cuz of the good rating but after trying the food, I can't believe they have such a high rating. After actually reading the reviews, I understand why. Most of the people who come here seem to be non-desi. This place might me amazing for someone who didn't grow up eating desi food. If you're desi however, you won't be impressed by the food. The papar is basic. The chutneys are the best part. They tamarind chutney, cilantro chutney are really good. The onion salad thing, I liked. We got the lunch special: chicken tikka masala ($15) & butter chicken ($13). Both were ok, nothing special. I thought the chicken tikka was bland tbh. I'm used to much more flavorful food. The daal was strangely spicy. It was too spicy for me & my friend didn't like it either although she loves spicy food. I didn't try the naan so I can't speak for it. The gulab jamun was good but too sweet for me, but that's everywhere cuz of the super sweet sugar syrup. The service was really good tho. read more

This is a great spot in the area for Indian food. The service is very friendly and the prices are reasonable. Upon seating you get free chips and chutney and sauces which is a nice perk. For appetizers my friend and I got the pani puri shots and the samosas. Both were excellent the sauces for the pani puri tasted nice and I'm glad that there were two different options. The presentation was also really fun with the shot glasses. Butter chicken was really tender and sweet and the mango lassi was nice and thick and had me contemplating if I should just go for a second one. read more

We stumbled upon this place as the place we were going to get lunch from wasn't open, and we were pleasantly surprised. The lunch specials were a bit hard to understand. There are certain items from the main menu you can choose from if you get the lunch special, but they don't specify what dishes are included so you have to ask. It would be much easier for customers if the dishes are actually listed on the lunch menu as well. The food took quite a bit of time to come, and we saw that they had a lot of takeout orders to fulfill. The mango lassi I ordered was great, and they give you a small snack to munch on while you wait. We got the lamb curry and the chicken tikka masala. Both dishes tasted really fresh, and the portions were great. We thoroughly enjoyed the food. read more
