My brother was looking to grab dinner and catch up, and whenever this happens, the biggest question is where to eat. He was feeling like Greek food, and suggested Mythos based off the positive experiences he's had here in the past. This sounded great, so off we went. Mythos is a pretty spacious restaurant - the dining room is very open with tables scattered throughout the space. The chairs are kinda big and I would argue that it was a little cumbersome navigating the tables but overall not too bad. The kitchen is semi-open with a display case separating it from the dining room that looks like it holds food to be prepared. Their menu is pretty extensive without being overwhelming - all of the Greek staples were there. We were started with their house-made bread that came with black-eyed peas and some hummus. This was delicious, so much that we ordered dips as an app to complement the bread more mmm. We also started with the halloumi and a slice of spanakopita. The halloumi had a somewhat unique preparation - I'm used to a single slab that's maybe complemented with a sauce that I would need to slice. Instead, these were pre-sliced and placed on top of pita complemented with tomato and cucumber. This was delicious, all the flavors and textures worked well together. The spanakopita was really tasty - it was a healthy slice that we were able to share and again, super flavorful. For my main, I went with the garides mikrolimano which were shrimp prepared in a red wine-ish sauce, some feta, and served over rice. This was delicious - the sauce had layers of flavor and served as a great vehicle to unite the shrimp and the rice. Service was fine - we were taken care of promptly and food came out at a good pace. It was a little impersonal but I kind of expected that - I wouldn't go into this restaurant thinking you'll be getting an experience when it comes to the service - just straight to the point. Overall though, I thought the food at Mythos was excellent and I had a great experience. I would hesitate to return for another meal.

The food is comforting unlike the staff who will greet you nicely then talk about you in the corner of your eyes and look strangely at you .The restaurant it self is very welcoming with Greek food that warms your soul the lemon potatoes are a must as a well as the Greek meatballs (surprisingly a favorite with my partners 12 year old sister ).I may not know how to pronounce the foods name but it sure was delicious!

We were staying in Bayside for Thanksgiving week and decided to have lunch here with some family members who live nearby. Upon arrival we were given our choice of a table, which was nice. The menu has a wide variety of appetizers, salads, soups, and entrees. They also provide complimentary bread and hummus. Our party of five had Greek salad, the four dip appetizer, Greek meatballs, stuffed grape leaves, pastitsio, and chicken souvlaki. The portions were nice and the dishes were tasty. This is truly an authentic Greek restaurant with all of the favorite dishes.

I think this restaurant has been here for many years and I always said I wanted to go but never did. I finally went the other day - I have a Greek friend who invited me. The food was so delicious and the people so friendly and nice. Service was also excellent. I had the lemon soup, green salad, fried sardines and black sea bass with a bottle of Pino Grigio to top it off.

The Mediterranean food here was excellent, complemented by a relaxed ambiance. The fish was fresh, and the desserts were a perfect ending to the meal.

Consistently fresh, nutritious, well prepared Mediterranean dishes. Accommodating staff, homey vibe, great energy, reasonable prices and delightful atmosphere. Been coming here for decades, still a great experience every time.

This restaurant is right across from Oasas and I see it every time we go to Oasas and I finally decided to grab my neighbors and give it a try. There's outdoor seating and quite a few tables but we opted for indoor seating. Inside it wasn't too busy when we first got there but it filled up quickly. We started with Hummus and bread and everyone enjoyed it. The grilled octopus is a must try, it was so good and fresh (it was gone too quickly before I got a picture). I opted for the pork chops and it was the best choice I've made in a bit. The pork chops were juicy despite being grilled. The portion was big enough for me to have lunch the next day. My nephew got the Chicken Souvlaki and appreciated that it didn't come on the stick because it was easy for him to eat. He's super picky but ate so quickly. We ended dinner with a few Greek coffees, a Galaktoboureko, and Kardidopita. Overall it was a great dinner and I would definitely be back again

The service was still good, and the ambiance is bright and welcoming, which I appreciated. The gyro itself was just okay this time, nothing too memorable. The fries were good definitely needed some salt, but that's just my personal preference. The chicken skewer was solid and probably the highlight of the meal. My biggest issue was the Greek salad. It was mostly cucumbers, and the feta cheese had a really strange flavor. I'm not sure what brand they use, but I've never tasted feta like that before, and not in a good way. It completely threw me off. That experience alone was enough to turn me away. I think I'll stick with the pricier Greek spots that I know are more consistent.

It used to feel welcoming when you went in, but not anymore. The souvlaki has this weird, overly soft texture, without much flavor. The amount of feta in the salad ... you might as well not even give any. The gyro meat is still good and the pitas don't feel and taste stale anymore. The grape leaves taste went down hill. The tzatziki is still one of the best that you can get. Mozzarella sticks don't have seasoning anymore and made it feel like eating them was just biting down into hard cardboard. I'm gonna give them a break for now and check back in a few months. I'd recommend them only if your nearby and really craving this type of food.

The lady who I assume is the boss said she had held a pop-up shop about two years prior which blew up, hence what we see here. The selection here was deceptively small compared to chain bakeries, but it didn't take us long recognise how much power the smaller selection packs and, actually, how the selection really is not small at all. The matcha red bean loaf grabbed my attention straight away and didn't disappoint, but their red bean bun was just as impressive, as it's a more bread-y counterpart to the fluffy versions other bakeries typically have. The onioissant is definitely experimental and worked better on the chive bacon cream cheese one than on the pollack roe, which was a bit too much on the salty and fishy side for my liking. Their chocolate horn is at least twice as big as a typical one you'll find at other bakeries and has a rich dark chocolate filling which was a pleasant surprise. Their coffee brioche pastry was another hit, thanks to the strong coffee filling and delicate layers of pastry. There's ample tables and chairs, beverage menu, and I'm sure we'd come hang if we lived closer. I can't wait to go back.
