Stay away from this place on Grub Hub. The delivery was a two hour process for a Gyro the Gyro was cold and dry. I will not order from this place again. read more

Another great Greek joint in Bayside. All of their meat dishes are superb but I find the sides to be a bit of a letdown (bland rice or some other random, flavorless side that's been sitting there since 1992). Parking is an unmitigated disaster in the tiny shopping center lot. Here's a tip, park on 33rd Ave or Jordan St. around the corner. Enjoy! read more

I was so delighted to find this place in my neighborhood! I had souvlaki here and it was cooked to perfection! Salad was really fresh. I'm debating right now whether to go there and eat or get something delivered. Either way, I know I will be satisfied read more

The Gyro Corner make a Greek style grilled calamari that will knock you on your butt. Absolutely amazing. They also make an awesome gyro and Souvalaki sandwich. I love their combo gyro and Souvalaki. Sandwich. OMG it's so much food. You feel like your gonna explode when leaving. Gyro Corner is one of the better Gyro restaurants in Queens. This place is a gem. read more

Authentic-tasting Greek/mediterranean food here. Service is okay, but what I love is their foooood. Their souvlaki platter is enormous and yummy! Their complimentary pita bread and sour cream comes hot and is delicious! Other favorites are their grilled octopus, lamb chops, burgers, shakes, and baklava. This is my go-to place when I'm craving Greek food. :D read more

My favorite souvlaki/gyro place to eat in the world. I grew up eating here and since i've left NY i dream about it. Came back from CA and made sure to hit up this place. It's the same great food, amazingly you just can't replicate or find elsewhere, believe me i've tried. Get the lamb souvlaki sandwich if you're really hungry get the combo with gyro meat too. You'll be in heaven, i promise. read more

Surprisingly I loved their chicken skewers even though I'm not usually a fan of Greek food. AND 10 orders of pita and tzakaki sauce please. I could eat this all day. the waitress was super patient with me so she deserves a shout out for being amazing. i swear i thought she was going to spit in my food cause i took so long to order but she was so nice explaining everything to me and she had absolutely gorgeous nails too. but yes pita, sauce and kebabs keep them coming. AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS! read more

Given that there are many Greek restaurants in the Bayside area, I must say that Gyro Corner is a solid place for a quick bite and nothing more. read more

Not great. Ordered in december 2020, food was dry, not flavorful (guessing not fresh....frozen). Was very disappointing. Extra tzatiki sauce for dry food was $1. Tzatziki sauce was bland. Falafel was oily mess. Not impressed will not return. read more

This is more of a bad review of seamless and i want to make that very clear. Im a regular customer of Gyro Corner, however the phone was nusy so i placed my orsrt via seamless. Where to begin, 1st time ever the order was wrong, 2nd the seamless driver calls me and asks me to go downstairs and meet him downstairs because he couldn'tfind a spot, i run down to the lobby and he hands me the rain soaked bag, I tell him it's soaked and he said it's raining and stated he couldnt take it back. Food was cold and wet and in the garbage. Lesson learned: dont use seamless and call the store direct. Ive never been so disappointed. read more

Really close to my house so this is the usual spot to pick up gyros. I never have anything to complain about. They also make really good chicken lemon soup. I never come here and sit down to eat since its always pretty busy and there is only street parking. They also usually take a little longer than they say until your food is ready for pickup so if you do carry out you can take your time. read more

From the outside you can see the Gyro meat spinning, enticing you to go in, you also notice the clientele is am older crowd which makes me think this is a place is a place people have been coming to for years. This is a very low key place but the Gyros are delicious! They stuff it with so much meat that it seems that it never ends... but alas, it does and all too soon. The Souvlaki is also cooked very well, tender in the middle and nicely charred on the outside. The Zucchini sticks are generic restaurant fare. Gyros here will be remembered. read more

I ordered take-out 2x from them...The first time I ordered the Gyro Platter with lemon potatoes and everything was good....gyro meat was nice & tender. The 2nd time I ordered the Gyro & Souvlaki combination platter with french fries; The gyro meat was tender but the souvlaki looked good but it was too tough and basically inedible-they need to tenderize their meat more; also I was disappointed in the french fries-tasted like frozen french fries from the supermarket-I thought they would be home made; I'll stick to gyros & lemon potatoes when I order again. read more

Watch out, they might charge you $100 three days after a delivery and ignore confrontation after getting caught.

Our family ordered from Gyro Corner twice. Their gyros were delicious both times- large portions and reasonably priced. However their moussaka was disappointing. The portions were small and didn't have much eggplant or potato in them. I would order from here again...but I'll stick with just gyros. read more

I've ordered food from here plenty of times and it's always been ok. This is a disgrace. The food took over 2 hours to come. I had to call and the lady who answered the phone had no idea if it was out for delivery or still in the store. The turkey burger came dry and thrown onto the bun and was smashed on top of a spoonful of coleslaw. Spent 40 dollars on this garbage and I wish I could drive to the store and tell them that they should be ashamed to serve food like this. Never again. read more

Delivery always on time. Food is on point even if you order at 12am the flavor is not lacking. Only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because 2 out of the last 5 times Ive ordered delivery the food was barely warm hopefully something that can be improved. Make sure to try the avgolemono soup!! Me and my coworkers were highly disappointed. We ordered $30 worth of food. We ended up waiting two hours for delivery. When it got here it was ice cold and some of the gyros were leaking and opened in the bag. read more

This place is fantastic for take out and delivery. We often pick up two large Greek salads (add chicken!) and it's enough for two meals for my husband and I. Delicious, never fails. read more

This is quite possibly the worst thing ive ever had to taste in my degenerate life. Ive had nasty food before but this one takes the crown. Im actually so mad right now. The rice was soggy and tasted like my dogs feet. The soup tasted as if it came outta the sewer pennywise lives in. The shrimp tasted like wet rocks. I dont know what i did to deserve such punishment. Id give you guys -14 stars if i could. Im apologizing to my tongue for making it go through that meal. It just aint right read more

Honestly the food isn't bad but when I do order most of the time its dry or cold. This time I decided to try something new. The picture you see is charcoal shrimp. A charge of 9 dollars. For what exactly... I called the store again and the person was quite nice. It seems like it's not just me that complained about this 9 Dollar dish... yet they don't do anything about it. I wouldn't recommend ordering from here. read more

Gyro Corner - I ordered this from gyro corner, the price was 9 dollars. This is called charcoal shrimp. I paid 9 dollars for what? - Greek Near Me - Flushing, New York

Called for delivery food took a hour then get here the food is cold and no utensils!! Never again

Not sure what the service is like at the actual place but if you're ordering food for delivery be prepared to wait for over an hour. Not worth it!! And after calling to find out how much longer they couldn't even provide feedback. They just kept saying give it a little longer. Not ordering from here again. read more

I usually stick to Astoria whenever i want at Greek dish but since I happen to be in the area i decided to try Gyro corner. I ordered the following items to go: 2 Gyros, 1 Pork & 1 lamb/beef mix, Greek fries w/feta and Zucchini fries I was charged $38 (Pricey so i decided maybe the food was super good taking into consideration you get what you pay for, Unfortunately that was not the case) The Pork was tasty but my husbands lamb/beef was not edible meat was uncooked, he ended up feeding it to the dogs. The fries and zucchini sticks were dark and soggy, looked gross instead of appealing (isn't food suppose to look appealing) shame I was already home otherwise I would have returned them. Unfortunately my dogs didn't want to eat them either and they eat anything so I ended tossing them out. They looked as if they'e been fried w/oil that hadn't been changed for months. I was very disappointed. $38 for 2 Gyro sandwiches 1 Fries & Zucchini sticks is not cheap. If i wanted bad food would have gone to a fast food place, even Burger King's Fries are better. Tzatziki sauce very disappointed. The only reason I gave it 1 star instead of 0 is because the kid that took the order was friendly and cordial even though he was super busy. read more

Two stars because the souvlaki is decent and food is ready fast....however, falafel is nasty....it was served cold, soggy, dry and bland. This place gives very small portions (especially the fries and onion rings) for a high price. They serve them in what we call "bowling alley" containers and never fill them with the fries or onion rings all the way and those containers ( well not really containers just a paper holder type of thing ) are very small to begin with. Will not order from here again, I prefer Gyro World on Northern. read more

This place was a pandemic staple for us. We never had any issues with delivery and the food always came fresh. I believe it's one of the places that have stayed open consistently through the shut down and fed the community. Essential workers offering great food at good prices. read more

The food was overall okay. I ordered a grilled chicken Greek salad, a falafel plate, grilled chicken plate and a double chicken plate. The food is good but the Delivery guy was not professional and So rude to me and ask me to go down to take my food soon as I open Street door I saw my food on the Floor and he's in the car Yelling at me saying to me [ u Taking too long ] then start Driving His car And I was so shocked. Not impressed, salad and pita bread with tzatiki was good. Chicken shish kabob was not very good, it was like biting into undercooked chicken. The waitress had it cooked more but it was still the same. I will not be returning! read more

I have eaten hear many times with my father the service is spectacular and the food is delicious. We know all the staff and they are always very kind and generous. With the corona era and it now getting cold we can't go out to eat anymore. But we order out from there constantly and enjoy their food time and time again. If you are trying Greek food or if you need a good place for Greek food this is the best place in the business. Trust me. read more

In Coney Island and stopped here. Grilled onions? OK. Barely any meat? I'll live as it was actually on the rotating grill. No cucumber sauce at all? Terrible read more

Used to like their food. Spent more than $100 on it tonight, including the Gyro Corner Platter meat platter but did not receive a single piece of pita bread with the order. Could have been an oversight but when I called to complain, guy on the phone was very dismissive and said that we should only have gotten 2 pieces with our $100 meal anyway and that we would get 4 pieces next time. He didn't ask for our name or phone number, anyway, so it was nonsense. Stick to Fontana or Gyro World, I guess. The food is generally good, so the attitude is a shame. read more

Really, an hour and a half for 2 salads. I was told it wasn't busy and I should have it within 45 minutes. This was on a Friday afternoon.

DONT eve order from here. The food ALWAYS shows up super saggy, wet and cold. Waited almost 2 hours for a delivery on a Wednesday night. Their excuses are always the same, either "the traffic was bad" or "it got extremely busy." Ridiculous. Wanna throw this right back into their faces. read more

We ordered from here yesterday for Mother's Day since my grandmother is not able to leave her house. Delivery was said to be 45 minutes and came within that time frame. Everything was still hot when it arrived and they were delivering to Bay Terrace so that was appreciated. Food was tasty as usual. We got the gyro platters, chicken kebob platters, shrimp kebob and two chicken kebob sandwiches. The meat and shrimp were tender and juicy. The rice was very tasty and the french fries were crispy and not soggy. Plenty of tazitki (spelling) sauce and the pitas were nice and warm. read more

Ordered takeout through yelp last night and was told 45-hour.. ended up being more like an hour and 15. The place seems to get crazy at night around 630/7pm so the wait and the lack of salad dressing is the only reason for 4 stars. Food was great. For just about $20 I got plenty of food that was very tasty. Spinach pie is killer and the chicken was seasoned perfectly. read more
