I'm so disappointed to have to leave this review, because I used to LOVE Cooked Klean. For a long time, the food was consistently amazing, which is why I keep coming back. Unfortunately, over the last few months, the quality and attention to detail have really been falling off. Whenever I place an order through the app, I make sure to select specific sauces and leave special instructions. Lately, these are completely ignored. The food arrives without any of the selected sauces, making the meals extra dry and tough to eat. I'm really not sure why basic instructions are being missed, but it takes all the joy out of what used to be a great meal. I want nothing more than to see this place get back to the standard I know they are capable of, but until these basic order accuracy issues are fixed, I won't be ordering again read more

Best healthiest food with lovely appetizing presentation. So grateful for this place. Beats everything else honestly. If you care about your health and love yummy food with a lot of options. I'm obsessed with this place. Would eat this every day. I got a couple of different bowls - a hearty one and an acai bowl (wish had more variety for acai bowls but their combination options are great either way) I also got one of the healthy hydrating smoothie juice type blend. Yum af. And the cutest best part was the almond butter banana open faced sandwich. I'll post a pic. So nostalgic. Get anything, or everything. You'll love it and probably come back. read more

I stopped in and got a chicken bowl. The bowl had good flavor but a small amount of food for the price. Also, I couldn't hear a word the girl behind the counter was saying, and it wasn't loud in the place. read more

I was walking by to find something to fit my Mediterranean diet lifestyles and the only thing I saw was Dunkin' Donuts and bagel place. I stumbled across this place. Looked inside and found that it was rather attractive offering a place to sit down and eat. As I viewed the menu I was very impressed. It offered exactly what I was looking for. So I got a crystal klean smoothie, I got an avocado toast with egg for breakfast, an order Klean steak salad, and mushroom klean rap. I got my breakfast, lunch and dinner in a One-Stop shop. This facility offers a wealth of klean eating. The staff is friendly and very informative. They offer suggestions and they work as a team. I am now a loyal customer on my first visit. read more

I came here for a salad that I always get waited about 15-20 minutes and got the salad but had to run. I never had to check my food before but this time I should have when I got to my destination I was missing hummus and they cut my sweet potatoe so thin I couldn't understand why a $17 bowl was being skimped like this. It bothered me so much I went back the "manager" said it depends on the potatoe which I've gotten this same exact salad many times and I've always gotten a full potatoe and she just took a spoon threw hummus on top and was done. There wasn't a so sorry we didn't complete your order properly. Not a can we make it over? Nothing sorry to say I don't think I will be returning. read more

I love Cooked Klean. Judging by the steady stream of traffic of people coming in to pick up orders so does the community. I met up with a friend at nearby Cunningham Park and we decided to get something healthy nearby - we both knew this place. She picked up food a few times here and I knew them from their generosity to the Yelp Community from a couple of events. My friend got a smoothie along with a bowl. The Crystal Klean is made up of Banana, Dates, Spinach, Almond Milk, Almond Butter, Plant-Based Vanilla Protein, Sea Moss and trying a sip it was absolutely delicious. I went for a Veggie Bowl which had Brown Rice/ Greens/ Mushroom/ Brussels/ Kale/ Kale Pesto & Klean Green Sauce/ Shepherd Salad/ Charred Corn & Onion Crisps with no subs and the Klean Green sauce on the side. It had a filling mix and I didnt miss adding an additional protein. The order took a bit waiting in person so I recommend their website to order ahead so you can swoop in and pick up your completed order. Operations here are super friendly and efficient. Its a place I am happy is nearby. While writing this review it reminded me it would be a great option for today! (Too bad I wrote this on Sunday - they are closed) read more

Love that there's this delicious and healthy option in the area! It's never been in my radar despite living not too far away. The flavors of the different ingredients definitely felt unique, but never overpowering--especially in the build your own salad bowl. Overall the prices are decent, though I do feel like the portions were a bit small. The veggie burger CCB burger was a bit underwhelming, not my personal favorite but that may be just me. The quinoa salad was pretty solid and I do enjoy the sauces that he dishes come with (subtle but adds to the dishes). Will definitely be keeping this spot in my back pocket for the occasional klean takeout! read more

The food was soooo good. I'm really trying to eat healthier and I must say cooked Klean is affordable and they aren't stingy with the food. I tried a smoothie while I was waiting and it tasted so fresh. I wish there was one in LI. I didn't know it was a black owned business which made me even happier to support . I can't wait to go back to try their vegan banana bread. I was skeptical bc I put the sauces on the side - but when I called ( I was considering Uber eats at first ) the rep described all the sauces for me and I appreciated that a lot! Since I did a build your own bowl I think they may make the food right then and there for you. I can't wait to try one of their bowls they serve read more

This is my go to place when I don't feel like cooking (which is often). I frequently order the salmon pita and the chicken bowl. I love the jerk bbq sauce/klean sauce that comes with the chicken bowl as well as the roasted plantains which is my favorite part. The jerk bbq sauce is not spicy what so ever so don't be afraid to order that if you don't do spice. The salmon pita is a bit on the small side for me but I love the tanginess from the pickled red onions. Overall, I'll continue to order from here and would def recommend if you're in the area needing something on the healthier but still satisfying side read more

Service was great. Was offered a delicious sample and the young lady had no issue changing my original order to a full size of the sampled drink. Breakfast burrito was clean and light. Could have had a light sauce to go with it to give it an added kick of flavor. But overall - will come again. read more

It was nearly a year since I've had Cooked Klean so I was excited to go back today for lunch. I got the salmon with quinoa and white rice, as well as a berry and ginger juice. While the portion of salmon was a bit small for my taste, it was cooked just right and was absolutely delicious. It's really nice to have a healthy and clean option so close to my folks place in Fresh meadows. The only thing that I should have asked for was a slice of lemon or lime so give it some more zing, but other than that and the salmon portion, it was nearly perfect! read more

The owner Kevin came to Career Day at the school I work at today. Great speaker! He had the students engaged and asking questions. He brought cookies for the students and they loved them so much! I was impressed by his work that I went to his establishment after school. Food is delicious! My husband enjoyed the wings! Will definitely be coming back to try out more food and the smoothies. Thanks again Kevin!! read more

When I want decently healthy and to see a friend that loves the place, I go here. I love it and it beats my other healthy spot in LI. So far, fast service and made-to-order bowls. It's a better form of fast-ish food. Never had a bad cashier, usually friendly and chill. They get good biz from the healthy gym buffs next door. nice eye candy is a plus! read more

This place is a gem! I was looking for something healthy to eat and saw this option and decided to give it a try. I ordered the salmon bowl and it did not disappoint! It was really good. It's also great to know how filling and nutritious it is, but still feels like a light meal. I haven't been to the actual location yet. I ordered delivery and it came right on time. Would I recommend? Absolutely! 10 out of 10 Definitely going to order from this place again! read more

This place offers healthy and tasty meals. Healthy doesn't mean bland with these chefs and food creators.

I really used to love cooked klean, but they've gotten so cheap with the portions, not worth the price anymore! Ordered a kale ceasar with salmon and the salmon was SO skinny, and it didn't use to be like that. So disappointed! read more

Pleasantly good. Had a company lunch and didn't have much expectations of this place. They did messed up a few orders including mine but overall the "build your bowl" was pretty good. I had the steak with sweet plantains with quinoa. I like how the selections if you pick 3 difference sauces we only got 1 and one of the choices I chose was on the side...but that shouldn't be in the "Sauce" options... Also was missing the Chimichurri. Would be better also to have marked peoples orders instead of us having to guess who got what? Initials would've been nice. read more

I wish I could give them 50 stars man. This bowl changed my life. lol Na foreal the best thing I ate all year, its December 22. I'm dramatic ok but ITS SOOOO GOOD, I wanted to cry. The food is amazing, especially the bowls. Great serving sizes. Wish they were open later on weekends!

I love this place but unfortunately the service is terrible. They let one person drown with all these orders creating a huge back up at the front house. This makes me not want to order from here because I legit have waited over an hour for an order that I placed for pick up. It's very hot and you can see that people are not happy with the service while waiting so long for their food. There needs to be an additional person in the front not just one. One person should be taking online orders and phone orders while the other is taking care of people coming in at the store. I don't think I will be ordering from here again unless I actually have some time because I already know that I won't get my food for at least an hour. read more

I used to love Cooked Klein but the quality and portion size of their food has changed. I order via Uber Eats this past Friday for 9 pieces of their naked wings and a Children cheeseburger. The wings were dry and burnt and the cheeseburger bun was burnt. However they added two cookies with my delivery I'm guessing to make up for this. I don't know what is going on with management but something must change or they will lose valuable customers like myself. read more

Catered lunch for 40 people to bring to a picnic area. First time using Cooked Klean which was recommended to me by a friend. The food was delicious. Everyone liked everything they tried. We went full vegetarian because we had a few vegetarians that never get to try everything at buffets and have choose mostly from the side dishes. We had Thai basil "chicken" sandwiches, bbq oyster mushroom sandwiches, and crispy eggplant sandwiches. For sides we chose quinoa and Cucumber, potato salad and 2 different green salads. Kevin and Crystal helped us with the selections and recommendations to provide a balanced meal that would satisfy a crowd. Crystal delivered straight to my door and it went right from her car to mine and we were off to the picnic area. From start to finish a very satisfying experience. I would definitely use them again in the future and highly recommend! read more

My first time ordering from this place and I was surprised how well packaged the food was and the Jerk Salmon tacos was delicious. It should be noted that it was not spicy but it was still very tasty. The Red Dragon juice was also very good. I took off one star because the menu clearly stated that the tacos included mango salsa and diced sweet plantains and I didn't see any. Maybe they ran out or changed the recipe? However the corn tortillas and the red cabbage with the Jerk BBQ sauce covered salmon was still a winning combination. I will definitely order again but will try out other items on the menu. read more
