Great experience with GV Home Solutions. We replaced ~15 windows and 1 door from an aging house. Guram and Valentina were extremely responsive, with multiple visits and consultations to get to a concept that we were happy with. They were extremely helpful (and patient) - providing recommendations on design, longevity (windy area), and where/how we might save a bit of money to come up with a plan for our house. We quoted multiple places for window and their pricing was extremely competitive. Scheduling and install was super quick, within days of receiving the windows. Would be a customer again. read more

We purchased an older house with mostly single-paned windows that need to be replaced. Valentina and Guram replaced over a dozen windows, some as wide as 12 feet. They were very communicative, professional, and went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. We had a lot of other contractors and they were able to work with our timeline by holding the windows for us while waiting for some demolition to occur first. There were a couple of windows that had issues but that did not require replacement and they took the additional time to provide solutions. When another contractor broke one of our windows by mistake, they guided us on how to get the windows replaced by warranty. Basically, we went through the entire life cycle of a window in a month with them and were so appreciative of their work and support! We love that they are a local, family business that has been doing this for a long time. They were very personable and easy to work with. One of our favorite contractors out of the dozens we have worked with. Would highly recommend! read more

GV Windows did a fantastic job in providing sales support, project management, installation and execution of our home windows replacement project. With new windows we expect our energy usage and costs to go down 30-35% on a year over year basis. Our new windows should be fully paid for in less than 10 years! Wow!! Valentina and Guram are wonderful human beings. Both are very precise and their project execution was flawless. Everything went like clockwork and the project got done exactly as promised. It's a very rare commodity in many Contractors these days. So when you find people like Valentina and Guram it's like finding someone playing Tchaikovsky and the music envelopes you completely. Our community needs to keep these outstanding businesses going so all of us benefit for many more years to come. read more

GV Home Solutions - Windows Installation Near Me

I reached out to GV Home Solutions and both Guram and Valentina responded in under 1 hour! They were incredibly knowledgeable and helped troubleshoot my issue immediately. The best part of this interaction is that they helped me find a solution that didn't require replacing my entire window. The fact that they were willing to guide me in this direction shows how they truly have the customers best interest in mind. They care about their customers and will help you get to where you want to go without trying to sell you things you don't need. If only every business operated this way! I contacted GV Home for 3 windows replacement and I am glad I did. The process was very smooth from the beginning to the end. Valentina was always there to answer all the questions I had, and she informed me every steps. On the day of installation, Guram came on time and finished the installation beautifully. I would like to note that he cleaned the area both inside and out after he was done. Victoria followed up a few times even after the installation. I will call them again when I replace other windows. read more

I replaced my 2 sliding patio doors and 8 windows with GV Home Solutions. I live on the 2nd floor and I was amazed how professionally 2 guys lifted up 9-foot doors without even a scratch on the porch and the floor of the balcony which I recently had remodeled. I was very worried about that. They completed the project in one day. The quality of the doors and the work were excellent. I highly recommend this company for windows and doors project. The communication was absolutely great. read more

1) The folks you will talk to will be the owners, buyers, and installers. No one in the middle. No confusion. 2) A pleasure to work with. Nice, honest, clear, flexible. 3) Experienced and knowledgeable: Providing advice to result in good decisions. They helped me choose the right style and tint instead of throwing me a catalogue. They stopped me from making the mistake of drilling holes for wiring I had made in my old windows. This would have voided the warranty and was better done through the wall. 4) They have been doing this over a long time, the installer worked for another company that installed windows for me over a decade ago that is now out of business. 5) Pricing great, much better than some who solicit jobs online, come and do an estimate and then out source the work and create endless confusion in the process. 6) Quick : My windows were fully installed in half a day, less than a month after my initial inquire. Local to Mountain View, but would recommend them to anyone they would service. TL;DR: A great product and perfect customer service. read more

I am usually too busy to post reviews but due to the outstanding service from Valentina and Guram, I felt compelled to. They were recommended to me by my brother who just had all his windows replaced by them. Although I was only replacing one window and it was a small job, Valentina and Guram still treated me as a valued customer- they came over to look at my window and explained in detail the issue with my old window which was leaking and how they would replace it with the new window. They took measurements and I received a quote within 2 days. Pricing was competitive with another quote I received so we proceeded to order the window. Guram just replaced my window today - he was on time, covered our floors, and cleaned up everything. We love our new window and will absolutely use them again when we are ready to replace the rest of our windows. Have already recommended them to my sister! read more

Guram and his crew did an excellent job, completing the installation in just two days. I spent a lot of time researching different window options, and Guram recommended the Milgard brand. I'm glad I took his advice--the sleek design and energy efficiency are exactly what I was looking for. Windows look so beautiful, white interior color brings so much more light into our home vs our old bronze metal windows I'm really happy with the end result. I highly recommend GV Home if you are considering to replace windows. read more

Late in 2022, we had 12 new Milgard "Tuscany" windows installed with new casing and trim. The work was expertly done, fast, and finished a day early. Pleasantly, our house was left extremely tidy. The installers were all polite and respectful of our home. The windows are gorgeous. Our house now feels snug and warm. The price was reasonable and definitely worth it. I highly, highly recommend GV Home Solutions! read more

I have done home remodeling with full window replacement twice. The contractors that I used before are retired. My daughter purchased a small condo and asked me to help out. I am really happy that my friend referred Valentino and Guram to me. They are truly professional, polite, and a trustworthy team! Their price is also great. You don't need to go further to look for any other companies. Since her condo does not allow any exterior change of style or color. We have to use the retrofit method. Valentina helped us to submit the HOA change request form. After the installation, they took away the old windows and blinds. Guram also showed me the right way to close the sliding door and extra function on windows. The windows look beautiful both inside and outside. We are happy! Highly recommend! read more

I had three window contractors do site visits, and Guram and Valentina were by far were the most responsive, communicative, and patient. Another contractor gave me misleading, potentially upselling information, which Valentina disputed in a later phone call. Regretfully, I won't be able to hire GV Home Solutions at this time, but I really appreciated their professional demeanor. read more

I had windows and a sliding patio door replaced. I appreciated the care Valentina and Guram put into the project. My schedule is so busy due to the nature of my work, but they scheduled extra help and put in long days to finish the project in a timely manner to fit my schedule. I remember Guram showing me the option to do it cheaply such as my other bid, but strongly recommended what was necessary to do it right. It helped me have confidence in their integrity and the quality of the workmanship. The staff was pleasant and helpful. My sisters stopped by on their way to L.A. and their tire was low. One of the gentleman working, stopped what he was doing to fill my sister's tire with the air compressor that the had on the truck. We have been very pleased with our windows and patio door. read more

We'd already been dragging our feet for a few years to replace our upstairs windows when our neighbors had theirs done. While watching the crew fixing up the neighbor's house, Valentina approached me and introduced herself - I didn't think twice and within a few weeks, GV Home Solutions were replacing our windows. They were extremely flexible to accommodate our busy schedule, the work was done on time and perfectly. When the work was done, they left the house after cleaning up, leaving no trace. Guram even gave me advice how to fix an apparent leak at a window downstairs! We have been very happy with the job done - every morning I get reminded of their great work! GV Windows was extremely professional and has done fantastic job. They have visited the place prior to starting the work atleast twice to clarify all our questions and concerns. GV Homes installed a single window for us which is a very small project, and most of the window installer would not even consider taking on such small project to start with. Valentina and Guram are friendly and professional. We need to reschedule the installation at the last minute, they are very flexible and reschedule according to our need. The work looks very good. Would definitely recommend them for your window/door projects. read more

We love our windows & GV Home Solutions did a fantastic job! We shopped around and they were the most reasonably priced but also seemed to have lots of experience. I think they are probably a little cheaper because they don't have fancy marketing (e.g., one company gave me a tote bag & magnets during our estimate visit). Guram and Valentina both came back in person twice to answer any questions. They told me it would take 1-2 days and they ended up only taking one day! Guram came to do the work himself which was impressive (with a small team). Guram noticed something special that had to be dealt with regarding our windows (can't really explain well but they're old) -- he said it would take longer and be more work for him... but he also said he wouldn't charge us more which we were grateful for. He was very professional! They left our home cleaner than it was before ;-). Valentina was easy and pleasant to communicate with (despite a little phone tag). We are THRILLED with our new window and would definitely recommend them to anyone else. read more

We recently contracted GV Home Solutions for a window retrofit project for our home. The project ran smooth from start to finish. The principals (Guram and Valentina) are very responsive and pleasant to work with. Pricing was competitive and the quality of the work performed and products delivered were top notch. Professional and efficient. With any home renovation project, having a contractor that honors their commitments, delivers on their promises and most importantly doesn't create problems for their clients is extremely satisfying. We've had our share of contractors behaving badly and can speak from experience. If you are interested in upgrading your windows, give them a call. We are happy with our decision and I think you will be too. We highly recommend GV Home Solutions. read more
