Jerry installed an interior door for us in a wall that previously had no door. It was easy to get an estimate from him which we found to be reasonable and fair. He completed the job exactly how we discussed and we were extremely pleased. Jerry does very precise work while keeping everything tidy. He is both punctual and honest. We highly recommend him. read more

Jerry does a fantastic job. I have worked with him since 2013. In 2025 he just installed a accent wall in our primary bedroom. It looks fantastic. He is very quick, reliable, and does fantastic work. Highly recommend Jerry. read more

We needed our double front-doors to be repaired as somehow they had shifted way past simple adjustments to the point where one could not be opened anymore. I did not believe that the problem could be fixed and that we needed to change the double front-doors, but Jerry was a magician and he repaired it fast and above and beyond what we were expecting. Not only the doors can open, close, latch and close without frictions, the aesthetics of his work are amazing. I will definitely hire him for any future carpenter work in my house! Thank you very much! read more

Jerry is awesome. Called him up and he picked up right away and was able to get me a quote ASAP. Ended up not using him cause the HOA requires a licensed contractor even for small jobs but would highly recommend for anyone who could use a handyman/finish carpenter! read more

Jerry built a mantel, stained the front door threshold and fixed a couple of kitchen cabinet doors that didn't work properly. He was always on time, worked diligently and his pricing was very reasonable. He had several design suggestions for the mantel which we took advantage of. It turned out great! Overall a great experience! read more

8/10/23 I contacted Jerry via the internet, and he promptly replied and scheduled an initial visit to assess dry rot repairs for my Saratoga home. I needed a finish carpenter for some of the repairs. I cannot say enough about the quality of Jerry's work and his expertise. Once Jerry began our repairs, he continued each day until the project was completed. He was very accommodating if other needed repairs were discovered during the work. Jerry was straightforward with his reasonable pricing and provided receipts for materials purchased. All job costs were transparent before work began or changes made. I highly recommend Jerry! read more

We hired Jerry for a fairly difficult job of installing floor to ceiling board and batten in our 2 story entry way/foyer with 24' ceilings and we could not be happier with his work. We had textured walls so he had to install a thin backing board over all of the walls and then install the battens over all of the joints per our design. He also installed door casings over all of the doors and walkways into and out of the entry way that look phenomenal (see photos). He completely transformed they way our house looks and feels. He also has a guy who does all his painting who painted the job for a very reasonable price. I hired Jerry after finding him on Yelp and the reviews do not lie! Jerry is extremely hard working, fair, honest, ethical and takes pride in his work. Whenever there were decisions to be made during the install process, Jerry kindly offered his opinion on how to best approach but also listened to our concerns and worked with us to make sure we were 100% satisfied with the job. He takes pride in his work and does not cut corners. I have worked with other contractors in the past who are pushy and just want to get in, finish the job, get paid and move on to the next job not taking pride in the job. Jerry is not one of those contractors and I am sure he earns a lot of repeat business for this reason. Hire Jerry - he is top notch and I was extremely impressed with his professionalism and attention to detail and overall level of service. You will be glad you did! We have many more projects to do in our home and Jerry is my guy moving forward. I will use him again and I will recommend him to all of my friends. Job well done Jerry!!! read more

Jerry was wonderful, I needed a side door and jam replaced in my garage. his quote was better than the others, he was here on time, espectful of my home. He did a wonderful job and I am very pleased. We utilized Jerry's services to replace the interior trim around our octagon window which had become separated and misaligned. He responded to our request quickly and came out to assess the situation and offered a solution for a more stable installation. Two days later it was done! His customer service and workmanship were both excellent and he charged a fair price for the work. We'll definitely call him again should we need other carpentry work done. read more

Jerry didn't actually do any work for me but when I called him for a quote on my project, he was very honest on what parts he could and couldn't do and even gave suggestions on how I could go about completing my project in the easiest way even though I wasn't going to hire him. Thanks you Jerry for the time you spent chatting with me to help me through my next steps! read more

Jerry recently installed our engineered hardwood floors. He was always super responsive and available over the phone or text which made the whole process very smooth! Jerry removed old carpet from our living room and stairs as well as the vinyl from our kitchen area. He later replaced both with engineered hardwood. As part of the process, he removed all existing baseboards, painted them and reinstalled them back after the flooring installation. What we really liked is that he took the time to complete the work properly and he didn't rush through it. The end result looks beautiful and we are very happy with Jerry's work and diligence! We highly recommend Jerry for similar projects and look forward to working with Jerry again in the future! read more

Jerry and his team are amazing! The estimate process was easy - he took numerous measurements and asked questions to ensure a quote that included all aspects of the work. The quote was fair and reasonable to remove carpet and place flooring in 3 rooms. They arrived on time (wearing masks), took care moving furniture not to damage any items, did the work efficiently and professionally, and cleaned up when they were finished. The projected time for the project was spot on, and they kept me apprised of progress at the end of each day. I highly recommend Jerry and his team, and I will definitely call on them again for other projects! read more

I am so happy to have found Jerry. He installed Crown Moulding throughout our house. His quote was far better compared to others. He is very easy to talk to, always has a smile on his face, and enjoyed what he was doing. He gave me few suggestions on what design would fit better for our house. He was not only on time on his work but also accelerated it by working over the weekends since some other job was about to start at our house. The final finished product looks so good that I am completely satisfied with the result. I would definitely hire him for the next set of projects that I have in my mind. read more

Jerry did an exceptional job on our wainscoting, crown molding, and stairwell banister. He is the consummate professional who explained to us all of our options, how he would proceed, how long it would take, and what the results would look like. Jerry did not disappoint! His craftsmanship is exceptional, he completed the work on time, and had no cost over runs. Jerry's quote for the work was very reasonable unlike many of the other outrageous quotes we were given. Given Jerry's craftsmanship and professionalism, his availability and economical prices won't last long. He is the best kept secret in the Bay Area and I would use him again in a heart beat. Heck, my friends are already using him and they are delighted with his work! PS - Have him show you pics of the work he did in our home. You will be blown away! read more

I was looking for help to repair or rebuild a 10yr old pergola in my backyard. I was never completely happy with the work the original contractor did, but lately the structure itself was swaying and ready to fall at anytime. I contacted Jerry based on Yelp reviews knowing full well that even with good reviews this is still a crapshoot as to whether the reviews will pan out for you as well. I love my backyard and did not want another disappointing job. Jerry and Alonso did not disappoint! They knew exactly what needed to be done, and made several suggestions to make my pergola more aesthetically pleasing and to fit better with my backyard overall look. I am very pleased with the work they did, and have two more projects lined up with them. Rare mix of quality work at reasonable price, and a vision to actually improve on your own ideas. Highly recommend Jerry! Leonard A. read more

Jerry did a great job fixing several doors in my home that were never installed properly by the original builder (hard to close, latches that didn't stay shut, et cetera) Jerry fixed these nagging issues quickly and with a smile, and was very cost effective. After finding out about Jerry as a recommendation from a friend, I contacted him. When I hired Jerry, I realized it was the best decision I could have ever made. Jerry was a true professional in every possible way. He showed up on time to give me a quote on the work, told me exactly what he could and couldn't do, and then quoted me a price which was extremely fair. We agreed on a day and time to do the work, and he showed up exactly when he said he would, and proceeded to do a fantastic job on the crown molding of my home. He worked efficiently with no wasted effort, and finished the majority of the work on the first day. On the second day, he again showed up on time with his wife, and they painted the crown molding which turned out perfect. I'll never consider another individual if I know Jerry can do the work, there is absolutely no reason to. read more

Jerry did a wonderful job on the difficult project of repairing our laminate flooring, which was ripped up due to a pipe leak. He was finished in half the time, the quality of his workmanship was high, he had a reasonable price, and he is very friendly. I recommend Jerry to others looking for a carpenter. read more

I could not say enough about the quality of work and professionalism Jerry delivers. I found Jerry on Craig's list as well as 5 or 6 other carpenters. I was looking for someone to install laminate over a cement floor condo (about 1500 sf) He not only came in at a very reasonable price, he suggested a much nicer (visually ) way to go about laying the floor. I also did not want transition strips between rooms (and I know my walls are not straight) and the floors came together beautifully! There were a few sections of the house where I was not sure on where to stop or how to transition and Jerry gave me his opinion and his reasons why. So very happy I went with his suggestions He also installed my baseboards, which turned out perfect. Nice tight perfectly cut corners. Even the closets had baseboards Jerry gave me a quote upfront and told me how long it would take. By the 2nd day I was so comfortable with him , I left to run errands while he worked Would I recommend him? In a heartbeat. Would I use him again? Absolutely! If anyone has any reservations about his work, please give me a shout and I would be happy to talk to you personally or show you his work. You will be very happy ! read more

Jerry is a talented and very professional finish carpenter. We have been renovating our 30 year home for a year and Jerry is our main finish carpenter for everything from installing wainscoting to new doors. Jerry initially installed new baseboards and crown molding when we first bought the house. Since then, he has installed new window trim, wainscoting in our stairwell & hallway, plus new exterior doors & trim. He is very personable and professional. I would recommend Jerry for any finish work without hesitation. read more

Based on reviews I found on Yelp, we contacted Jerry to install a fire door leading into our garage. He responsed quickly to our initial request and gave us a bid. He always communicated with us in a timely manner and we were very pleased with his work. We would highly recommend Jerry for any work you might need. read more

I asked Jerry for a quote based on his 5 star reviews. While he only had a limited number of reviews, he left a good impression on those who used him, so I felt it was worth talking to him. After meeting him in person he was friendly, professional and came across as very sincere. His quote was very competitive with the other quotes i received, so i decided to go with Jerry. It took a few weeks for our schedules to align, but Jerry was always very responsive via text and always replied by the end of the day, which I really appreciated. Our schedules finally aligned and Jerry installed baseboards in the kitchen, laundry room and one bathroom. He did a great job and even came up with an elegant solution to address a problem with heater vent in the laundry room. I highly recommend Jerry for any wood working needs. read more

We have had Jerry come to our home and do several projects so far. He has done such a great job, that I find myself trying to figure out new things for him to do to improve the beauty of our home! Our story is that we just finished a pretty big remodel. We were less than satisfied with our contracted finish carpenter, who just stopped responding one day. We had closet shelves/rods that still needed installation, some baseboard pieces that needed redoing, cabinet shelving that wasn't complete, and interior doors that needed adjusting because when the finish carpenter had hung them, they were just a little "off". When our contracted finish carpenter just vanished and never returned our calls, we turned to Jerry to ask him to come to our home to do a quote and time frame. He really impressed us. Not only was he responsive to our initial inquiry, but he made sure to find a time that worked with our schedule. And then - he showed up right on time! He walked through the house looking at all of our various small finish work that needed attention. After the walkthrough, he recapped exactly what we wanted, his quote was extraordinarily fair, and his timing for the work was flexible to meet our schedule. He arrived as we had planned and had the work done in the time frame that he said he would. We actually felt like his charge for the work was less than what he should have charged, so we gave him a little extra. He is a really hard working guy. We just had him over today again because we wanted some garage shelving put in. He did a phenomenal job - he picked up the materials yesterday after he came over to quote the work, and then he was here right on time this morning and put in the shelving. He even recommended rounding the corners near the side entry so that we wouldn't run into sharp shelving corners when coming through the door. His vision is impeccable and his work is superb. Thanks Jerry! I will be thinking of a new project for you soon! read more

My husband and I are so happy we found Jerry to refinish our bathroom cabinets. The cabinets had extensive water damage and the doors and drawers were not operating properly. Jerry did a beautiful job refinishing and restoring the 78 inch double vanity and tall "linen closet". Jerry came to the house to pick up the doors, drawers and fronts. As planned a week later Jerry came with his helper to sand and refinish the fronts and sides of the cabinets. He left the cabinets to dry and came back to install the doors, drawers and fronts a day later. The cabinets are now beautiful. Jerry communicates well, is reliable and keeps the area where he is working clean. The next project for Jerry in our home will involve refinishing another bathroom cabinet, base board installation in a large area and new interior doors. We are looking forward to his work on that project to "finish" the look and make our home more beautiful. read more

Jerry did a good job with our baseboards. The work was done on time. He would show up early morning and work till early evening. The work quality is good. Importantly, he knows exactly what he is doing and its obvious he has done this many times before. He cleaned up well after the job was done. Jerry is an easy guy to work with. We coordinated via text messaging which was great because we did not have to catch each other 'live' just to move things forward. We have many more things to get done and we will definitely use his services again. read more

I hired Jerry to help me install crown molding in our house. It was a project I started a year and a half ago and put off due to my frustration with the project.
