Outstanding service and beautiful work. I called for a quote and they came out the same day. They were responsive, reliable, transparent, and had a great selection of products. Jean Francois was absolutely outstanding. His communication was excellent throughout the entire process, and he was meticulous with the measurements, clear about what to expect, and incredibly efficient in coordinating the installation. Everything happened exactly when and how he said it would, which I greatly appreciated. Jean Francois and Silvano did the installation and their work was excellent. They explained in advance that the baseboards would need to be cut to accommodate the doors, did a beautiful job, cleaned up everything afterward, and even wiped down the mirrored doors so they were spotless. Both were professional, skilled, and a pleasure to work with. I would absolutely recommend them. read more

This was a no brainer. We had doors replaced over 10 years ago at our other house and back then the service and quality was excellent. Fast forward to today - we moved back to the area and needed the doors in our new home replaced. Found out they were still in business and continues with their excellent service - Tim was responsive, patient, and very accommodating to our schedule, installation was perfect and they cleaned up after the job was completed, and Jean-Francois is as meticulous as they come to ensure properly sized and fitted door measurements. The whole process was flawless from start to finish. And we even got a repeat customer discount! Thanks! read more

Updating to 5 stars because of the great warranty service. The pocket door for my bathroom fell off the rails and got stuck. I left a voicemail and got a text from them on the same day. Shout out to Jean-Francois, who was able to stop by on the same week to help us get the door back on track! (If I remember correctly, he was the one who helped us install the door the first time too.) There's a lot of work involved with getting the pocket doors back on track. They gotta take off the door frame first before they can get the door aligned with the railing. Truly appreciate Jean-Francois for making the door look and feel good as new! read more

Interior Door Replacement Company has outstanding service and great quality products. Tim Browne, their salesperson measured our doors and provided us with a quote. Their product quote wasn't cheapest, but Tim's product knowledge, professionalism and no rush demeanor made us feel comfortable. Tim pointed out that 2 pocket doors may be problematic to install. Before ordering, we visited their showroom and Tim showed us their process and went through door designs and fixtures. After that meeting we thought about it and elected to go with Interior Door. We ordered 5 bedroom doors, 1 closet door, 2 bathroom doors, 1 fire door and 3 pocket doors. Tim told us their detailed measurement person would come out to ensure that the doors fit properly. Jean Francois came out and carefully measured door. He pointed out the same problems that Tim had mentioned but he felt they could handle the problems. The installation date as originally quoted was met. Fernando and Gabriel installed our doors in about 5 hours without a break. They were very clean, professional and courteous. All in all from Tim Browne's selling a quality product, Jean Francois detailed measures and their installation team, the door installation was simply perfect and seamless. You can't go work this Interior Door Replacement. This company is top notch and Five Star company! read more

I didn't buy from Interior Door Replacement Co but that's only because they do wood doors and I needed an all-glass modern installation. What I do want to say is Tim was super professional and helpful. When I called he took the time to explain another similar job, what that costed even though it was done by another contractor. Even though his company doesn't do glass installs like I need I truly appreciate that he took the time over the phone to discuss my project with patience and helpful pointers. Sign of a great company. Definitely trust them to do interior wood frame doors for me and I likely will need some for closets and such at some point and reach out. My experience with them is fantastic- highly recommend. It's tough enough to get responses from contractors that even do your requested work, completely unexpected to get such a fantastic response from a company that isn't in the line of work that I need, yet takes the time to talk the project through with me. Thanks Tim! read more

Did a great job on several interior doors we had them install. Doors were painted to our specifications and installed properly at a reasonable price. Would use them again. read more

Finished the job in our home ahead of time and it was perfect. Meticulous installers! Fair price as well.

Quick and easy. We asked them to add deadbolt to one of our interior doors and they did that immediately.

We had all 9 interior doors replaced in our home and this company was honestly so amazing to work with. I'm super picky and it took me a few months to move forward with the project. Interior Door replacement was super patient and I didn't feel pressure from them to rush my project. I also did not want white doors and they painted all my doors the color I wanted. It was so easy. The last measurement they just picked up the gallons of paint and brought back anything that wasn't used. The paint looks flawless. The installation of the doors was so quick. The quality of the doors is fantastic. You are paying for quality work and doors. I write this review a few months after installation because I decided to get my front door replaced. I'm kicking myself in the butt for not going with them again. Interior Door has excellent communication, very well organized and just pays attention to all the details. They have a great selection of doors too. Thank you for being such a wonderful company to work with! read more

My experience started out poor with this company (see previous review), but they quickly reached out to remedy the situation. I appreciate that they were humble enough to admit that the situation was not handled properly on their end, and they worked with me to come to a solution that worked for us both. The closet doors were installed today, and they are perfect and exactly what I had in mind. The entire process was very speedy and smooth for me after a manager reached out to rectify the situation. I don't know if thats because they were making special efforts to improve my experience, or if that is just the speed at which things normally move with installation, but I was very surprised with how quickly they were able to get the custom doors built and installed. Someone named Jean came out to the house for the final measurements, and he was very friendly and explained everything very thoroughly to me from picking the right molding to even choosing the right shade of white (which I didn't know there were so many!). It only took 2 weeks after his visit before the doors were built and installed. Everyone makes mistakes and no company is perfect, but to me it says a lot when they do make an effort to fix their mistakes, and I appreciate that from them. read more

We had our master bedroom recently remodeled, and the company that installed our closets couldn't provide the doors we needed, so we found Interior Door here on Yelp and contacted them for a quote. The quote was reasonable and they were spot on with lead times to have the doors we needed available for installation. The staff was professional and courteous from start to finish. The doors and hardware are top quality as was the installation. We are really happy we went with Interior Door and will use them again. read more

I can't say enough about Interior Door Replacement Company. They made me feel very at ease with finding the right door to suit my needs and budget. No sale's pressure. Initially Tim Browne, Sales Rep came out to assess and measure; then Francois came out to finalize the measurements. The third and final step were the installers, Fernando and Ben. Very polite, friendly and knowledgeable in their craft! Awesome team! They were amazing and very into detail. They transformed my doorway and made my home remodel look even more amazing!!! What a difference a door can make!! I can't believe what I started out with and the end product of a beautiful exterior double door. The whole experience was positive from beginning to end. Ok, I admit it, I can be picky. My wife and daughter needed new closet doors. I found Interior Doors online and went to their showroom on Bowers. Tim and the others were great. They have a beautiful showroom. We ordered the doors and they were ready to be installed in about 2 weeks. The installers came on time and were great. Fernando came to check the work, it was clean, quick and done right. They even put a mating down on our hardwood floors. The quality of the door, hardware and installation are high quality. Two years ago, we took out the carpet in our bedroom and replaced it with hardwood flooring, but when we did, our '70s mirrored closet doors no longer fit! (Darn it -- not.) So we went without closet doors for, well, two years before I Googled and found Interior Door Replacement Company. They came out to give me an estimate on our master and guest bedrooms, then followed up. I ended up ordering really simple doors that they came and installed, and I absolutely love them. I'm hoping some time to replace the doors in the office, and when I do, I know whom to call! Honestly, if you're looking to update a room, closet doors seems to be a good place to start, and these are the folks to help. I do NOT miss my gold-trim mirrored monstrosities at all. read more

We were doing some remodeling and needed 7 bedrooms/bathroom doors and 1 hall closet door. Going from hallow doors to solid doors. The price was very reasonable. The remodeling took longer than expected. Interior Door Replacement was very patient with our delays. Once we were ready, the staff was very communicative in regard to the timing of when the doors would be completed and the installation date. The crew arrived on time to install the doors. The installation was completed in about 3 hrs. The doors are beautiful. We would highly recommend using this business. read more

I contacted Interior Door Replacement way back in 2019 for a quote to replace all my interior doors and closet doors. They came out promptly and gave a quote. At the time I wasn't ready to move forward but I kept their info. Then the pandemic hit and fast forward 2 years later. I recontacted them and they came out for another quote just as promptly as before. I placed the order and they came out again to finalize measurements. I was told it could be up to 8 weeks lead time given supply chain and shipping slow downs but was thrilled when I heard from them just 4 weeks later that my doors were in. We scheduled the install and the installers showed up on time and we're super efficient and friendly. I highly recommend this company Both for their professionalism and the quality of the products and work! The new doors totally elevate the look of my home! read more

I just had my doors installed this week. It took a while due to supply chain issues, but we are happy with them. I'll do this review across the board for everyone we dealt with - Installers - Ray and Jean-Francois, great work installing them. Fast, and efficient and did a great job overall. Everything looks great from an installation perspective. Kudos to them! The guy that came out to do measurements was also great, though I can't recall his name. Sales people - The initial calls seemed a little snooty and it didn't seem like there was much communication going on in the background. At first I had talked to one guy who was helpful, but then somehow wound up with a woman who took over. She told me the previous guy was new and she'd take over from there, though she seemed a bit uppity like I wasn't worth the time given my project size of 10 doors, but I proceeded anyways. The next person I spoke to on a video call where I showed the doors we wanted to replace was much better and very helpful. The quality of the doors is great and so are the door handles. We're pretty happy overall. One of the doors had a 8-10 inch scrape down the side that was very visible, but the installers were able to patch and paint it. I don't think it was the installers fault at all, and they did a good job repairing it. I guess I was just frustrated waiting all that time to get these doors and see one of them damaged. A bit disappointing, but I don't want to wait another god knows how long for a replacement. That said, will I use the company again? We'll see. There were definitely some pros and cons depending on whom we were dealing with through the process, but I do like the shaker doors. read more

Extremely please with the maintenance service Fernando just provided us! Interior Door Replacement Company came to our house in 2013 and replaced all of our interior doors. We were delighted then. It was a great pleasure working with the Team at Interior Door Replacement Company: Diana (Quotes and Pricing), Kris (Coordinating + Guru of technical and installation status / questions), and the installation team of Michael and Gabriel. Our order was for 10 doors: 1 fire door, 8 interior doors (mix of solid and hollow), and 1 closet door. The first contact discussion and Zoom meeting and review of our home went very well and I left the meeting feeling the review of our order was accurate and had more than enough information to proceed with quotes. The individual (forgot his name, but he was very accommodating [Covid] and informative) whom measured for the doors checked our order and performed measurements quickly. He also took our custom door paint color (btw: was painted on flawlessly -- very nice, and matches our existing trim and kitchen cabinets). Our only Covid related hiccup was the original door style was delayed at the factory / source. Kris was apologetic and worked with us to stay the course (our choice) on obtaining these doors (they were a great match to our existing front door). With Kris' recommendation, as non-committal delivery dates continued, we did modify our order. Following the change, Kris' and team worked hard to maintain our installation date while juggling multiple waves of orders. I even got a quick call when it was found a customized door for the furnace wasn't going to work with the style chosen (the cut would land awkwardly on the door pattern). I really commend the Interior Door team for 1) promptly calling and getting my input on the change and 2) making the change without slipping the installation date. They jumped on contacting me with a call (voice mail was full) and 2nd line of contact via email, which I received immediately. Installation by Michael and Gabriel was amazing. I received a courtesy call when they were about to arrive (important, as I had to re-arrange the locations of our at home schooling, working from home meetings, and our dog). The team was masked and took great precautions to be sanitary and Covid aligned. I was immediately asked how they can organize installation to minimize the impact of our in-home learning. The install looks great, was quick, and my kids commented that the team was very considerate. I highly recommend them and have already shared pictures and contact information with our in-laws as they are now quoting replacement doors for their home in the East Bay! read more
