I appreciate that they were humble enough to admit that the situation was not handled properly on their end, and they worked with me to come to a solution that worked for us both. The closet doors were installed today, and they are perfect and exactly what I had in mind. The entire process was very speedy and smooth for me after a manager reached out to rectify the situation. I don't know if thats because they were making special efforts to improve my experience, or if that is just the speed at which things normally move with installation, but I was very surprised with how quickly they were able to get the custom doors built and installed. Someone named Jean came out to the house for the final measurements, and he was very friendly and explained everything very thoroughly to me from picking the right molding to even choosing the right shade of white (which I didn't know there were so many!). I contacted Interior Door Replacement way back in 2019 for a quote to replace all my interior doors and closet doors. They came out promptly and gave a quote. At the time I wasn't ready to move forward but I kept their info. Then the pandemic hit and fast forward 2 years later. I recontacted them and they came out for another quote just as promptly as before. I placed the order and they came out again to finalize measurements. I just had my doors installed this week. It took a while due to supply chain issues, but we are happy with them. I'll do this review across the board for everyone we dealt with - Installers - Ray and Jean-Francois, great work installing them. Fast, and efficient and did a great job overall. Everything looks great from an installation perspective. Kudos to them! The guy that came out to do measurements was also great, though I can't recall his name. Sales people - The initial calls seemed a little snooty and it didn't seem like there was much communication going on in the background. At first I had talked to one guy who was helpful, but then somehow wound up with a woman who took over. She told me the previous guy was new and she'd take over from there, though she seemed a bit uppity like I wasn't worth the time given my project size of 10 doors, but I proceeded anyways. The next person I spoke to on a video call where I showed the doors we wanted to replace was much better and very helpful. The quality of the doors is great and so are the door handles. We're pretty happy overall. One of the doors had a 8-10 inch scrape down the side that was very visible, but the installers were able to patch and paint it. I don't think it was the installers fault at all, and they did a good job repairing it. I guess I was just frustrated waiting all that time to get these doors and see one of them damaged. A bit disappointing, but I don't want to wait another god knows how long for a replacement. That said, will I use the company again? We'll see. There were definitely some pros and cons depending on whom we were dealing with through the process, but I do like the shaker doors. read more

Overpriced and horrible customer service. I went to their showroom in Santa Clara 2 weeks ago and the lady in front greeted me from her chair (yes you heard me from her chair, she wouldn't get up). To make it even weirder as soon as I walked in she was eating, like can you say unprofessional? I asked for pricing and she gave me general pricing but wouldn't give me pricing for the door I actually wanted to get. So we set up an appointment and I never got called or confirmed about the appointment not to mention no one ever showed up. This company is very unprofessional I'm not sure how they have such good reviews, they must pay people to leave them. It was a great pleasure working with the Team at Interior Door Replacement Company: Diana (Quotes and Pricing), Kris (Coordinating + Guru of technical and installation status / questions), and the installation team of Michael and Gabriel. Our order was for 10 doors: 1 fire door, 8 interior doors (mix of solid and hollow), and 1 closet door. The first contact discussion and Zoom meeting and review of our home went very well and I left the meeting feeling the review of our order was accurate and had more than enough information to proceed with quotes. The individual (forgot his name, but he was very accommodating [Covid] and informative) whom measured for the doors checked our order and performed measurements quickly. He also took our custom door paint color (btw: was painted on flawlessly -- very nice, and matches our existing trim and kitchen cabinets). Our only Covid related hiccup was the original door style was delayed at the factory / source. Kris was apologetic and worked with us to stay the course (our choice) on obtaining these doors (they were a great match to our existing front door). With Kris' recommendation, as non-committal delivery dates continued, we did modify our order. Following the change, Kris' and team worked hard to maintain our installation date while juggling multiple waves of orders. I even got a quick call when it was found a customized door for the furnace wasn't going to work with the style chosen (the cut would land awkwardly on the door pattern). I really commend the Interior Door team for 1) promptly calling and getting my input on the change and 2) making the change without slipping the installation date. They jumped on contacting me with a call (voice mail was full) and 2nd line of contact via email, which I received immediately. Installation by Michael and Gabriel was amazing. I received a courtesy call when they were about to arrive (important, as I had to re-arrange the locations of our at home schooling, working from home meetings, and our dog). The team was masked and took great precautions to be sanitary and Covid aligned. I was immediately asked how they can organize installation to minimize the impact of our in-home learning. The install looks great, was quick, and my kids commented that the team was very considerate. The girl came out to my place and was telling me likely I would need custom doors bc of the closet dimensions. It was super brief which I was fine w bc I figured she could give the details w numbers/cost later. Some spotty/choppy correspondence after that for a week- all of which I initiated. I asked for a written quote emailed to me....that was weeks ago. Still haven't receive it.
