" Mango Lassi Kings ". This time I seen them at " The Copley Farmers Market ". This market is open Friday from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm , from June through October. The street parking so difficult but they have a garage less than a block away . It is reasonably priced . On this visit I bought 2x Mango Lassi and they were so good . The staff representing this establishment is super friendly and helpful. The ambiance is welcoming and friendly. The price is good for the portion size and quality.

The food here is consistently good. Prior to the pandemic, my office team would order here several times a year and always was satisfied. Not sure if they have a rotating menu, but we'd always have to check for the current menu to see what was being offered. Anyways, I went again recently a couple of times and the food was still outstanding. Parking is a nightmare so make sure if you're doing pickup, bring a friend to run inside. I don't really know what the names are for the things I eat here, as I usually rely on some friends to order. I don't think you can go wrong, really. All of the food are well prepared and spiced. It appears to be a family owned business, which is a plus.

Great experience with the takeout. I was recommended this by a friend who used to live in boston 10 years ago, and lives up to the hype! Reasonable prices, fast service. Gluten free items are well marked. Looking forward to more takeout!

These guys always park in the disabled space at restaurant depot. Mediocre food. Bad citizens.

we were craving calories and found this nearby. we stopped in here, hoping they had dine it but the indoor dining area was set up for carry out only. there was a barrier set up from the customers to the employees. the credit card reader was wired six feet from the register. mad applause for this set up. the rest of the industry, take note. luckily the two tables outside the restaurant were not occupied and we ate our take food there. we got samosas, a lamb biryani, and a goat combo with potatoes and rice. all the dishes were very flavorful. the samosas were nice and crispy, the fillings had spices complimenting with each other. the goat curry/stew was excellent but the oil in it was much more comparatively to other restaurants of the same type of dish. Overall, i would definitely come back to try other dishes. Parking is street.

chicken combo: tikka masala and tadka dal

I'd rate the food as 2 stars, and bumping to 3 stars for value as they do give you a decent amount of food for what you pay for. Ordered the chicken combo with Chicken Tikka Masala and Tadka Dal. I found both of these dishes to be on the blander side. The Tikka Masal, in particular, was very watery both in flavor and texture. The Roti the combo dish comes was unremarkable. The Vegetable Pakoras I ordered were also on the blander side as well. The saving grace is that they do give you a decent amount of food for what you pay for, but that personally won't be enough for me to order from here again.

The restaurant is a decent size and I think they'd be able to accommodate larger parties with no issue. Only thing is, they don't do reservations & only walk-ins. We visited before the kitchen closed & ordered the following dishes: - Jahunger noodles - Meefen noodles - Kavap (lamb kebab skewers) - Hand-made Lamb Dumpling (7) - Not Your Average Honey Cake I had to try the Jahunger noodles again! When I ordered this for takeout, I really enjoyed the flavor but was skeptical about it because I couldn't believe how small the portion was... or if I got skimped because it was a delivery order? I feel like I did get a slightly bigger portion dining in vs. takeout but that could just be me! Anyways, I loved the chewiness of the noodles & the spice! The spice is subtle & hits you at the end of each bite. The Meefen noodles were my favorite. We were warned by our server that this was a spicier dish but luckily, we LOVE spicy. Yeah, it's definitely more spicy than anything else we ordered but I didn't find it to be that spicy. LOVED THE FLAVOR for this dish! I liked that it was spicy but didn't have a bitter note like how Szechuan mala dishes can be with the peppercorn. The sauce tasted like it was made with chili bean sauce & sweet bean paste. Enjoyed the noodles a lot too! Super bouncy and very similar to udon noodles. The kavap lamb skewer kebabs were cooked well. Didn't taste gamey at all & felt like they were seasoned well. Very strong in cumin flavor. The hand-made lamb dumplings was a dish I personally could do without. I don't typically like when dumplings are wrapped this way and when we received this dish, the dumplings were cold. I don't enjoy cold food, plus the filling was very bland. Lastly, we had the Not Your Average Honey Cake for dessert. This was so good! I'm honestly not even a cake person usually but after seeing so many great reviews about it, I had to try it. It's not too sweet & was perfectly moist. Overall, the food was more or less solid! I think next time I won't be ordering appetizers... I feel like they're expensive for what you get here unfortunately & not worth it. $15 for 3 tiny lamb skewers is insane & $13 for lamb dumplings that were cold and bland. I did enjoy the noodle dishes & the honey cake though! We don't mind prices of food if the dishes are good. The appetizers are not worth it, in my opinion. Service: It was meh. My guess is our server's name is Elden, as noted on the receipt? He was a taller individual who just looked like he didn't want to be there. Originally, he had us wait a few minutes to prep the table and when he brought us to the table, it had just been cleaned. I go to sit down & immediately he goes "No!", with no explanation for why. He proceeded to move all the tables around, remove the extra chairs aggressively, and place the utensils and napkins. Throughout the meal, he was just staring at us to see if we had finished or were finishing up. Felt super rushed essentially. I understand we came close to kitchen close time but we ordered quickly & left before restaurant closing time. I thought it was interesting though because many of the tables around us arrived and ordered just before us or a minute after us & by the time we left, people were still eating... Lots of attitude & many of our interactions with him (for water, etc), he was nonverbal but his face was loud! Very passive aggressive from start to finish. So, I didn't particularly like that. And not to mention, we paid for the bill while we were still eating & after he took the bill and tip (20% cash), he was much happier + nicer to us... too funny. Overall rating: Food- 3.8-4/5 Service- 1/5 Likely won't be back for a while.

I also tried their zucchini and spring onion latkes ($18) and seasonal donuts ($12), both of which were excellent. The grilled rosemary focaccia with fresh, warm, and fluffy and came with a honey whipped ricotta! The grilled broccoli was served on top of heavenly butternut squash hummus and covered nutty-crunchy goodness. The cauliflower cesar and pierogi were also very good; although, I'd probably try something else next time. It was more than enough food for a party of 2. We could have easily only gotten three options, which might have left room for dessert - although maybe not - they are generous portions. Anwho - All in all - great experience all around.

For the food, we got the tuna kimbap, Seoul toppoki, and bulgogi hot pot for two. Everything was SO good. The price for the portion size was a great value and we ended the night feeling very full and even had to pack up an entire container of the hotpot for two that we didn't finish. We ordered the cheese topokki (soft rice cake, fish cake, vegetable, & mozzarella in Korean spicy sauce) & the beef bulgogi bowl (fried marinated beef, vegetables, steamed rice & side of soup). The cheese topokki was just as good as we remembered - chewy, flavorful, comforting, & a little bit weird. The cheese was poorly distributed, but it was still very tasty. The beef bulgogi bowl was really underwhelming. Firstly, it was very little food. We were promised vegetables, but there were only a few scarce onions & zucchini pieces mixed in. It was also dry. It was devoid of moisture & sauce, so we added some from the fridge at home. The side of soup was a joke. It filled only about 2/3 of the container & looked so sad, we wondered if it was the sauce that we we so desperately needed. Nope, just a meager amount of watered down miso soup. So the conclusion - great topokki, sub-par bulgogi, non-existent soup.

I stopped by in the early afternoon this past Monday with my top-tier chum who literally went to the school of hospitality. This establishment is pretty close to a prior Airbnb we've stayed at and is in a neighborhood we've spent a solid amount of time in, so it's been off and on our radar for a few years. I'm pretty sure we attempted to stop by on an earlier trip but it was too busy - a tribute to the restaurant for sure. Two elements stood out to me almost immediately when we walked in, one good, one bad. On a positive note, the service was excellent - that came across in waves. This is a busy restaurant in a tourist area, and nine out of 10 times, the hospitality would suffer as a result. Not here; we were warmly received as soon as we walked in and were consistently attended to throughout our visit. Top notch in that regard. Con? Personal preference on my end, it just felt kind of grimy in there, like it had taken on the personality of its neighborhood, which is in my opinion not the best and has a homeless issue. There's definitely some personality in there - some gorgeous wood paneling and whatnot - but it was a little too chaotic/claustrophobic for me. I think there's a way they could upgrade the interior without compromising the uniqueness of Cafe Bonjour. I was at the part of our mini-vacation where I didn't necessarily have regrets over my food naughtiness, but my palate definitely needed some legitimate nourishment. I opted for the Signature Blueberry Bowl,, which predictably featured a great many blueberries, and was essentially an acai bowl interpretation with bananas and peanut butter (similar to the Acai Power Bowl at Playa Bowls). It was fine - good portion for what it was. I think they should have made it more...solid, if that makes sense. Like make the blended blueberry aspect quasi frozen so it had more substance to it. Without doing so, it just seemed too liquidy and harder to eat as a result. It was also a little bland and could have used an additional ingredient or two, and the hunks of peanut butter were difficult to blend into the bowl, so sometimes you'd end up inadvertently getting nothing but a mouthful of peanut butter. Not the best, but also probably not their biggest menu selling point. For what it's worth, my chum loved her dish (I think she got the Bennies) and enjoyed her time here immensely. This is one I'd like a do-over on and would be more than willing to come back with a better appetite and revisit - I don't know that my opinions on the vibe/atmosphere are going to change (though maybe some of that is dependent on the weather and this place really shines when the sun is out), but I probably didn't get the best that Cafe Bonjour has to offer.

Chicken Souvlaki Plate: The carb content was overwhelming, and you will definitely feel dizzy after eating it. The chicken pieces were large, firm but not dry, offering a satisfying meaty experience. The Tzatziki (cucumber yogurt sauce) was rich in creaminess, with a pure fermented acidity, and the cucumber's refreshing flavor was just right; a touch of salt enhanced the aroma. The Sercet Sauce had a refreshing lemon acidity with a mild spiciness and spices from ginger and garlic, somewhat like a lemon-flavored Thousand Island dressing, both perfect for pairing with the souvlaki. However, the Spicy Sauce was so spicy it made me feel like I was going to breath fire... The Greek Brown Rice is said to be cooked in chicken broth, olive oil, and lemon; it was oily and the grains are distinct, somewhat like Chinese sticky rice, with a subtle herbal aroma. Better with sauces and salads for refreshment. Fries: Harvard students can get one for free with their ID card. The fries were fairly crispy, but they were cold. Needless to say, it's free, so what more could you ask for?
