Hands down my favorite restaurant in LA at the moment. Everything 10/10. We've been twice in the last couple of months. The first visit was so good, we had to bring our friends to have them share the experience. The banger pizza...phenomenal. The prosciutto and burrata pizza was...PHENOMENAL. The mushroom pizza was really good. The ambiance is really nice. Great decor, great music and a fun atmosphere. Our servers have been great. Love this place
Neopolitan is my holy grail of pizzas, but I was very much excited when I heard about Grá and their SOURDOUGH pizzas because cmon that sounds soooo good. Initial impression of the restaurant and its interior - my friends and I were gagged at how beautiful it was inside, like a bohemian garden with very cozy vintage vibes. We started off with this palate cleanser of carrot juice with parsley oil, and it was definitely an eccentric taste...kind of like celery but overall a pretty healthy tang (idk if it's meant to be savored because lowk maybe it's better as a shot lol). For the pizzas, we ordered the following, all of which came out hot with my absolute favorite leopard-spotted crusts, which definitely has that *sour*dough flavor plus a beautifully plush and chewy texture :D Stracciatella & Prosciutto (4.5/5) - the stracciatella cheese was divinely creamy, and it had this lovely sweet & savoriness to it - we couldn't really taste coffee-infused honey tho The Banger (4/5) - also another delicious and diverse combination of ingredients perfectly arranged on a pizza; nduja could have been more prominent as, besides the cheese, it seemed quite similar to the S&P Mushroom (3.5/5) - the truffle is fragrant, and overall the mushrooms are not too overbearing! I will say I'm biased to red pizzas though as white pizzas can get a bit heavy and needs a palate cleanser. But I especially loved the oyster mushrooms because they were cooked perfectly with an earthiness to em In regards to size, we ordered 3 pizzas for 4 people (6 slices for each, so 18 total), which was the perfect amount for us. Service was lovely as well so would definitely recommend checking them out! Street parking should be available in the nearby neighborhoods^^
We walked in on a Sunday evening without a reservation and got seated right away. The hostess and servers were very friendly and knowledgeable. Grá's sourdough pizza is absolutely delicious. We ordered the Puttanesca and it was a flavour bomb! The dough was thin and light, allowing the toppings to be the highlight. The pizza came out quick and eating it fresh is a delight. Just don't come expecting a huge selection but you can't go wrong with what you pick.
Everything to order here is shareable. The tables fill up quickly after they open. They have indoor seating, community table seating, & covered patio seating. The Market lettuce comes with Crème Fraiche, lemon, herbs, fried capers, parmesan- it's piled high and so good that I could eat this whole plate. The Mushroom pizza came with oyster mushrooms, porcini cream, mozzarella, aged goat Gouda, & truffle oil. The Stracciatella & prosciutto pizza came with tomato sauce, basil, coffee-infused honey, & garlic. Their pizzas are made to order and have a fluffy crust- I'd definitely try other ones next time. The chocolate mousse is a thicker mousse with orange zest mixed in & pistachios. Parking- street parking
The pizza here was amazing! Both pizzas were perfectly crispy and had so much flavor. You can also ask for chili flakes on the side. We also got the tofu appetizer, and while it had flavor, it was more of a salad than a tofu dish. This place turns more into a bar vibe toward the end of the night. Service was good as well.
Grá A solid Neapolitan-style pizza spot with a Michelin Bib Gourmand nod--and it shows. The sourdough crust is the standout here. Beautifully blistered, airy, and full of flavor with that subtle tang you want from a well-developed dough. The texture hits that classic Neapolitan balance--light, chewy, and just the right amount of char. That said, it does lean slightly on the salty side. The pizzas themselves are thoughtfully done and feel a bit more refined than your average casual spot. Ingredients taste quality-driven, and everything comes together cleanly. Ambiance is another strong point--dim, cozy, and a little elevated without being too formal. Great for a relaxed date night or a slow dinner. Only downside is the pricing--it's a bit on the higher side for pizza, even considering the quality and Bib Gourmand status. Overall, a great option if you're in the mood for well-executed, sourdough Neapolitan pizza in a nice setting.
I wasn't planning to visit A Woodfire Pizza that day, but I'm really glad I did. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, and I'd definitely recommend making a reservation since it can get busy. We started with the Market Lettuce salad, which came with crème fraîche, lemon, herbs, fried capers, and parmesan. It was absolutely perfect--fresh, well-balanced, and full of flavor. For pizza, we tried the pepperoni, and it did not disappoint. The crust had a great texture with a subtle smoky flavor from the wood fire, and the pepperoni was both spicy and delicious. Everything worked really well together. The service was also excellent--friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout our visit. A perfect place for a date. I'd love to come back again and try more from the menu. Can't wait!
This pizza was so unique and delicious. My friend was visiting from out of state and this was her favorite meal all weekend. The mustard seed on the Banger was so interesting but the Stracciatella & Prosciutto pizza STOLE THE SHOW! Overall: Her: 4.8, Me: 4.5 uniqueness: both 5 flavor: her 5, me 4.2 for the Banger pizza and 5 for the Stracciatella & Prosciutto crust: her: 4.2 me: 4 service: her: 4.5 me: 5 Ambiance: 4.5
WOWAAA!! Pizza is amazing!! We got the marg adding calabrian chilies & aged goat gouda... absolute perfection. They are on the smaller size, for reference, I ate one on my own. The space and vibe are also very cool. There is a nice patio and warehousey indoor seating, a DJ, interestingly the bathrooms smell so good, and really nice service. I could not love this place more!!! Will be back.
I had been wanting to try Grá for some time now and I was glad I finally got to try it out! The ambiance here is really lovely, and the service is pretty fast. The pizzas were really good, but I think I might have come in with too high expectations. I also really wish they still had the Kimchi Pizza, I've heard great things about it. I definitely prefer the flavor profile of the pizzas at Quarter Sheets, which I consider a top 3 to 5 pizza place in LA. However, Grá is fantastic as a sit down spot where you're having some nice wine and enjoying the wonderful music and ambiance. We enjoyed some of the orange wine with our pizzas and the cesar salad was pretty delicious as well. Since the pizzas are neapolitan style and not very large the are not that heavy after you eat it and one person can definitely finish a whole pizza by themselves. The quality of the ingredients definitely shined through, but you can easily spend a lot here even if you don't order much. Food: 4/5 Drinks: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4.5/5 Value: 3/5 Overall: 4/5
Where to start! Nice dark setting , custom decor , jazz playing loud but not too loud . Inside and outside seating . The greeter was super cool and we were sat really quickly , without having a reservation. Waiter super cool and helpful with things to try . The food was amazing, the starters are super different and so good . The pizza was amazing too , you can taste fresh ingredients . Plenty of wine selections as well . And the dessert was amazing as well . Will for sure be back soon!
Pizza in a romantic candlelight setting--expect upscale prices for the vibe. Classics like Margherita, mushroom, and meat lovers, plus creative ones. Tried the stracciatella-prosciutto with honey coffee: coffee flavor was subtle, but the sweet-salty combo shines. Sourdough thin crust--nice flop, light char, chewy tang. If you love that style, it's worth it. Market salad is shareable and generous; they start you with a tasty amuse-bouche. Elevated pizza in a moody atmosphere--great if you're cool with the premium price tag!
It's just pizza but definitely something about this place that makes it stand out . While the menu is minimal (food and drinks) the pizza itself was pretty good . Service was good. We came with no reservation and waited about ten minutes until we were seated . Seems like a busy place but have seating inside and outside so should be good . Now to the ambiance , this place is a vibe with a good playlist to get you through dinner . Loved it !

We had a wonderful experience at Grá! We walked up without a reservation and were so grateful they were able to seat us on the sidewalk outside within just a few minutes. Although the patio looked very cozy and inviting we were glad to be able to try this spot. As a welcome surprise, we were treated to a complimentary watermelon shooter, which was incredibly refreshing. We started with the market salad which was fresh, flavorful, and tossed in a delicious zesty dressing. It was the perfect size to share. For our main we ordered the Margherita pizza and the sourdough crust was a standout I'm a huge fan of sourdough and it made the pizza even more memorable. Everything we ordered was delicious and the attentive staff made the experience even better. We'll definitely be back! read more
my parents are obsessed with this place so i was rly excited to try it out. we had a reservation and were seated immediately. the restaurant is aesthetically pleasing but be warned if you sit outside you'll be bitten to death by bugs. we ordered the beef tartare, mushroom pizza, cheese and onion pizza, and stratciatella & prosciutto pizza to share amongst the 3 of us. i thought the tartare was a bit too salty but my parents thought it was good. now for the pizzas, they are nice and thin with a sturdy undercarriage (no flop!!) and were pretty yummy. my only complaint is that they are not very hot at all and the toppings are quite cold (including the onion on the cheese and onion pizza). my favorite dish by far was the mushroom pizza followed by the cheese and onion. my moms favorite is the stratciatella & prosciutto. i ordered a side of ranch to eat with the crust of the pizza and it was delightfully herbaceous-- but be warned it's $3 for a tablespoon worth of ranch. overall, this place is pretty pricey but yummy and would definitely come back again if in the area and if my parents are paying lol read more

Finally got around to trying Gra. Parking a little tough at times but found a spot across the street. Very dark and initiate interior but with some community tables along with individual party tables. Check in was easy with our reservation and quickly sat. We started with some Aperol spritz and the amuse bouche- a great palate cleanser. We shared the pepperoni and mushroom pizzas, both delicious and loved the sourdough flavor which shines through. I enjoyed the mushroom pizza most! read more

Came here on a Friday night with a friend, and Grá definitely did not disappoint! Being in their second year of being recognized by the Michelin guide, that expectation was definitely met. Their pizzas are great (I would've gotten another one but we didn't have much time for dinner), but the one thing I will say is that their pickled cucumber salad was a bit too acidic for my preference, but again-- just my preference. With the live music, great ambiance, and good service, I'll definitely be back! read more
One of the coziest restaurants in the city. Grá is tucked away in echo park and has this gorgeous, low-lit, romantic atmosphere. Perfect for date night or dinner with a small group of close friends. We were seated at the communal tables, which I actually loved. Parties of two sit on the corners, and even though you're sharing the table, it still feels intimate and private in the best way. Food: Market lettuce (8/10): basically a Caesar, light and refreshing with a lemony flavor.the fried capers were a great touch. White pizza (7/10): good, but a little on the bland side. The pistachio pesto was the highlight. The banger (10/10): incredible. Easily the standout of the night. Absolutely loved the overall vibe here. The romantic ambiance, sourdough pizzas, and solid wine list make this restaurant a spot I'll be returning to sooner rather than later. read more

Idc I'll defend Gra til the day I die. At first I was like okay whatever it's pizza. No -- You have to find which pizza and wine combo on the menu makes your taste buds come alive. For me it's the Banger + usually one of the special's they have on the menu that constantly rotates. I recently discovered the Prosciutto pizza which I was deliiiighted to find out is a staple on the menu + tried their newest special the Cheese and Onion. Amazing, delicious. I live across the street and come here often, and I joke around that it's always funny to see what the amuse bouche will be. It's yummy and a little silly. Gra is like a little trick I keep up my sleeve whenever I have new friends or family over. It's also absolutely gorgeous inside and outside. The staff are nice and usually accommodating. read more

Wasn't very impressed...unfortunately. I had high expectations due to reviews coming from Instagram; however, I wasn't very impressed with the food. Food: Ordered the beef tartare and 2 pizzas. The beef tartare was very underwhelming. Could barely taste the beef due to the absurd amount of pickled onion on top. It was pickled onion completely covering the beef tartare with a slim layer of beef underneath it all. Disappointed, as it felt like a rip off. The 2 pizzas had great flavor overall, but the pizza itself was way too sour (sourdough crust). The sour taste was overpowering the rest of the pizza which was unfortunate. The thickness of the pizza and crust were spot on though. Service: Good service. The woman who served us was on her phone a lot and seemed very uninterested in being there, but we still got the food in an appropriate amount of time and overall service was ok! Ambiance: Beautiful interior. Loved the restaurant itself. Super chic and aesthetically pleasing. Seating is perfectly spaced and the outdoor area is super cute as well! Unfortunately, this place didn't hit the spot for me. I was hoping to find a new gem in the area, but I unfortunately didn't think this place was it. read more
Super cute pizza spot in echo park. We came on a Saturday night and they were able to seat us right away. They specialize in sourdough pizza. Ambiance was super nice servers were great. We ordered the market salad, a pepperoni pizza and a banger pizza. Ingredients were fresh and I appreciated the sourdough crust but was definitely the type of pizza that's soggy on the bottom and all the toppings and cheese fall off as soon as you pick up a slice. Enjoyed our evening here but wish the pizza held up better. read more
Can't believe it took us this long to check out Gra! Walked in on a Sunday night. Very cute chill vibe, they dimmed the lights there so it could be a nice cute date spot if you get a table to yourself. We sat at a communal table which we didn't mind. Not only their pizzas are great, their appetizers are excellent as well! We loved the Caesar salad and tartare! Super fresh and tasty. Will be back soon! read more
How much do I love this place? When you walk into it, it feels like you're entering a spa more than a restaurant. And the fact that I get to stare at a DJ booth stacked with vinyl being the vinyl fiend that I am made me very happy. I want to DJ there!! I would do it for free just to get some more of that pizza. Also, they turned me onto these Japanese sodas that they serve instead of Coke. Man, I'm a huge fan now. Their pizzas are the perfect size, the perfect thickness. You could eat one by yourself and not feel full or you could split it with somebody and still order something else. I can't wait to go back to this place. read more

Gra is an absolute gem. We ordered the market lettuce, mushroom pizza, and banger pizza, and everything was a 10/10. The pizzas were unreal...the crust especially. Light and airy, slightly chewy, perfectly charred. Honestly, dare I say it might even beat Pizzeria Sei. Every bite was just so freakin good! The ambiance is romantic, dark, and rustic. Perfect for a cozy date night. Service was great too- attentive but not overbearing, checking in just enough to make sure we were taken care of. Street parking wasn't too difficult, and I like that they offer different seating options. The patio was a little hot, so I was glad we chose a table inside. You can also sit at the communal tables if you're in the mood to share the experience with other guests. Overall, Gra is the full package! Incredible food, romantic atmosphere, and pleasant service. Can't wait to come back! read more

After hearing about Grá and the ingredients used for the items, I became super interested in trying whenever I was around Echo Park. I really like the ambiance and decoration in the place, and despite the shared seating that we chose, it wasn't too bad and introduced me to something I'd never done before. I thought the service was pretty helpful, but it wasn't told to us that the sauces were extra, so although it wasn't much, that would've been nice to know, as we ordered multiples. We did have to send back one of the pizzas because it was wrong, but the new pizzas were yummy and light, and with the addition of the honey, it definitely took it up a notch. I was super glad I had a chance to try them out. read more
Friend wanted to try this place, it definitely has good ambiance and a great wine list. We started with a wedge salad, an albacore carpaccio and clams. All are decent, chicken liver moose was shredded rather than whole, which was an interesting approach, this semi "molecular" approach is also visible in their other dishes even pizza. Their pineapple pizza has pineapple sauce instead of whole chunk, and their anchovies pizza might used anchovies infused tomato sauce? Not much anchovies visible but you can definitely taste it. All in all it's a decent restaurant, but there's time limit so keep in mind, we had to get out because there's another group waiting. I don't recommend their desserts, maybe it's a personal taste. And their pizzas are just fine not the best, but if you are close by and really want to try it, it's still a nice place. read more

Came to Gra on a Wednesday with a reservation. I know weekends here are usually packed, so it was actually really nice experiencing it on a calmer night. The staff was super welcoming and everything felt relaxed and enjoyable. Inside they have these big community tables where different groups sit around the corners of the same table, which I thought was such a cute and fun concept. We ordered the lettuce salad, pepperoni pizza, and mushroom pizza. The salad was honestly amazing--super fresh and loaded with flavor. Both pizzas were incredible too. The pepperoni was perfectly crispy and the mushroom pizza had such a rich, savory taste. Definitely coming back. Amazing food and great vibe. read more

Dined at Grá for girls night out. Ambiance and vibes - impeccable. Food, unfortunately wish I could say I Loved it. Started with some white wine and Tartar. Tartar was lovely except needed something crunchy to pair with, and perhaps a dash of acidity. Shared the prosciutto with basil, honey, coffee pizza and probably 7/10. Dough was exceptionally soft and mochi-like, but our pizza was cold. Is it supposed to be? Honestly needed more ooomph. Perhaps some pine nuts? Ended with both desserts. Mediocre at best and probably not worth the price they sell it for. Definitely want to try the other pizzas as people rave of this place. Will give Gra another chance eventually. Street parking only and bathrooms could be cleaner. read more
100% the best pizza I've had in LA so far. First off, its super cute and tranquil in the restaurant. I love the open kitchen concept and the shared seating. We added bacon to our mushroom pizza and it was a perfect marriage... honestly it should just come with. Idk how they do it but the pizza under the toppings is super thin with the crust having a nice crunch AND chew! Perfection! Did I also mention its organic and sourdough??? WOW! read more
Came here for dinner in late September and was excited to try as this place had been on my list for awhile. I'd made a reservation on Resy about two weeks before and it was easy to get one at prime time on a Saturday night. They have two dining areas, one which is a covered outdoor patio, and another which is indoor. The outdoor patio is airy, lush and filled with plants. We ordered two appetizers to share, the cucumber salad and the straciatella. Both were decent serving sizes and had great flavor. The cucumber salad was not as refreshing as I thought it'd be, as it was served with a very heavy, nutty sauce. For mains, we shared the prosciutto and straciatella pizza. I thought this sounded so unique as it had coffee-infused honey on it. You could definitely taste the honey, but the coffee taste was so subtle it was barely there. We did share a slice of New York cheesecake for dessert, which both of us enjoyed a lot. This is a friend's favorite pizza place in LA so maybe I had very high expectations for it, but it felt a little underwhelming on this occasion. Either way, I'll probably try it again. read more
I had high expectations for Grá, but it fell a little short for my expectations. Firstly, parking in this area is a bit of a headache because you have to find it around the neighborhoods. Came here for a date night on a weekend night with a reservation, we were sat immediately. The ambiance of this place is top tier. Very classy and an upscale looking place to bring a date. The dim lighting, open kitchen format, and high ceilings really elevated the experience. We ordered the Margherita and Mushroom Pizza. The pizzas also came with a Fermented pineapple shot to cleanse palette. The shot was an interesting concept, and I would agree that it cleansed my palette. My favorite pizza was the mushroom pizza. There was flavor within these pizzas, but it did not wow me. One downside for the pizza was the crust. It was way too burnt. I understand that there needs to be a little charred and a little burnt, but the pizza was practically all black on the bottom. The service was below par at this place. Despite being sat immediately, the server did not seem too thrilled to serve us. It came off as a little rude, but hopefully they're having a bad day. Overall, this is a good place for date night but personally not for me. read more
