Shower, tub area and floor needed cleaning ,sealing, regrout and caulking. All areas now look like new.Colors matched . Everything was done to perfection and cleaned up. I highly recommend these guys. read more

Mike caulked both of my tubs and one toilet. Very nice, efficient, cleaned up thoroughly. Caulking looks great. He matched colors accurately. Definitely use this company! read more

The work we had done was overpriced and then the job was rushed. We paid $400 for less than 3 hours of work. We had the grout in the tub and bathroom floor cleaned and color sealed. There was no care given to not getting the color sealer on the painted wall or baseboards. I'm not currently living in the condo where the work was done, so I guess without supervision, they do a quick sloppy job. I spoke to Kevin F (owner) directly and he said he would have it fixed. He sent someone out to fix it but the person that called me that morning didn't know what he was fixing. The bathroom looked exactly the same when I stopped by later. Now Kevin stopped answering my phone calls, texts and emails. read more

I received an estimate on a bathtub reglaze which was a smooth process. However, when it came actually scheduling the work to be done, it was a nightmare. The receptionist at Grout Experts had called and left me a voicemail asking if I wanted to schedule an appointment to have the work done. I said "yes" and that he would be over in 3 weeks. 3 weeks came and went. 3 days before my scheduled appointment I called confirming what time the person would be out. The receptionist said she'll call me back. She never called back and so I called back 2 days before my appointment and she said "oh should be around 9:15". My appointment day rolls around and no one calls, no one shows up. I called Kevin and he said he'd call Carlos and he'd probably be there at 10AM and no one ever showed up. No call, no text, no email. Very unprofessional. read more

Kevin, set up a time for an estimate. It was reasonable so I had them do the work -- grout & caulk in one bathroom and refinish the tub. The work was done as promised, the home was left clean. The work was excellent. Both the wall and floor grout looked like new, the caulk was all removed and replaced. Then the next day the tub was refinished. The bathroom looked like new. Highly recommend these guys. read more

Jeff did an outstanding job caulking our shower, sealing the floor and cleaning the grout lines on the shower walls. He was on time, friendly, and accommodating to our busy morning. Highly recommend these guys! read more

Paid close to $900 for 3 hours of work applying silicone caulk in November 2022. They assured me they offer 1-year warranty on the work. 3 months later the silicon started peeling. Left several voice mails, they never responded back. read more

Had our shower room recaulked and some curb tile grout repaired. Very fast process. Kevin was super responsive and Mike who came for a free estimate was very knowledgeable. I forgot the name of the technician (RSW) but he was great also with the work. Prompt, neat. Also wore a mask at all times. Would use them again. read more

Grout Experts did a great job cleaning and repairing our master bedroom shower grout. All the staff and technicians were courteous and professional. They showed up on time, and did an amazing job. they even gave us some advice on how to handle the problems they couldn't address. read more

Incredibly responsive, scheduled me 48 hours I initially contacted them. Showed up on time, reviewed the work to be done to ensure it was in line with the estimate. Then got to work and knocked out 3 bathrooms throughout the day. Very clean work, as good as advertised. Will use again. read more

I randomly found Grout Experts online. They responded very quickly, provided a reasonable estimate, and did an outstanding job. We had a shower that had mold throughout and needed it refreshed. In a morning they cleaned, re-caulked, and sealed the shower to look like new. I will definitely use again as needed. read more

We received an estimate to re-caulk our shower and a bathtub. The estimate clearly states doing the faucets, the door frames, etc. The technician comes on time, and is done less than 30 minutes later. He only did some of the caulking, and I'm very certain he did not remove the old caulk before applying new caulk as we can see some of the old caulk along with the mold that had grown there. Some of the new caulk was cracking within 24 hours of it being applied. Other areas have no caulk, just the old peeling one. I have tried calling multiple times to get more information and have received no response. $350 for 25 minutes of incomplete and shoddy work. I don't even know how to express my shock. read more

Grout Expert, Jeff, did an excellent job repairing our tiled shower. There were spaces where the tiles were separating. Jeff scraped out the old grout, cleaned and re grouted and sealed. The tile looks now now. THis is the second time I have used Grout experts and am very satisfied with the work. In addition, Mike, who came to my home to evaluate the work required and provide the estimate, was very good. He pointed out things I had not noticed. I thought the cost was appropriate for the work. read more

We needed grout/caulk repair in the two showers/bathrooms of our condo and were so pleased with the work by Grout Experts! Mike, who came by for a free estimate was very friendly, personable, professional, & offered the job for a very affordable price. Our assigned tech (a different employee Mike), was also professional as well as clean, hardworking, & informative about his process & how best to care for it once he was finished. Our bathrooms look so much nicer now! Only issue we had was miscommunications with their office as we received several calls to schedule the work after it had already been scheduled & even after it was finished, must be a glitch in their system but wasn't too big of a deal as the work itself was well done. read more

Called to request an estimate and secured a date and time. No one showed up!!!! Didn't even receive a phone call before my appointment or after I called to see what happened!!! Awful customer service!!!!!! read more

Had my grout/caulking redone (marble shower stall). Everything went as scheduled and the technician was polite, on time, and neat and answered my seemingly endless questions. Scheduling was very straightforward. The entire process was very easy from start to finish. read more

Buyer beware! Once they get your money they don't return calls! The first guy that came out, had to go to the hardware store to buy more caulk.. really? Finally finished, and a week later, the caulking bubbled (which they say is normal). Had the guy come back again, did a poor job, left razor blades in the tub. A week later, it bubbled again!. I called at least 5 times with no response. Finally talked to someone and scheduled yet another appointment. They never showed, never called .. NOTHING!!! I called again, no response. I'm sorry but paying this company over $600 I would expect better service. I would NOT recommend them to anyone. read more

Our toilet broke causing a leak, and ultimately in the process of getting that fixed we came upon The Grout Experts to restore and update our bathroom. Though the initial call and estimate with them went well it's been nothing but problems, rudeness, shoddy work, unanswered voicemails, and headaches every since. They didn't show up on their first day of work and I wish I had gone with my gut and found a new company that day. Instead I gave them another chance which resulted in a scratch in the countertop of my brand new vanity and a hole in my wall we had to fight to get fixed (the vanity scratch so deep it is unable to be fully restored to its original state), not to mention cracks and unevenness in their grout work. Now, after payment and upon having their work reviewed because of the additional issues we've found, it was brought to our attention they did not seal/finish the grout, some of the tiles are spaced unevenly, and we will have to have a lot of their work redone. Very disappointed in this experience and feel taken advantage of as a whole. read more

Very impressive persistence to book the appointment, but followup after was non-existent. Average to below average job on caulking and grout... sloppy application of caulk and a lot of cleanup was required. I'm willing to pay for quality work, but this was below average. Shop around. read more

Would definitely hire again! The whole team was absolutely wonderful. Mike came to do our estimate and was so helpful and knowledgeable. He educated us on the type of stone we had and how to properly care for it. The pricing was fair and the work was done well. Ryan did our stone work and another Mike did the grout work. Ryan went above and beyond and even cleaned out our drain for us! Both kept me informed and showed me how things were progressing each step of the way. Everyone was very respectful with COVID precautions. Call them for your next home project or tile face lift! read more

My daughter had the grout Experts do work in her shower at her home. Then I contacted them and they worked on my master bathroom shower. The work was excellent, I was so happy my shower looked like new when completed. I did think the cost of the service was very expensive, $600.00, but the job was done and I was 100% satisfied. read more

The work they did was sloppy and incomplete. I'm forced to pay to have caulk removed an redone!

Entire team was efficient, professional and expert. In-home consultation/price quote was competitive and reasonable. Tech came a week later, did a fantastic job deep cleaning, repairing floor and shower tile, and replacing old grout with new grout and calk, and it looks AMAZING. Tech was polite, worked quickly, and cleaned up work space entirely. I can't wait to have them back to do another bathroom in my house! read more

I had grout experts do both bathrooms. The first bath was a tub enclosure that was cleaned, resealed with a white sealant and recalled. Although the guy was later than orinally scheduled, he did call and let me know. So all good. He was tidy and polite and did a good job. The following week they came out to do a tiled shower stall to remove the old grout, regrout and recaulk. This was a bit more messy job due to removing the old grout but he worked his tail off and cleaned up very well too. All in all, both rooms cost $1000. And they look like new. Very happy! read more

We are really happy with the work we received from Grout Experts! We had 12 cracked kitchen floor tiles needing replacement, even required tile cutting, color seal grout on that floor and master bath with re-caulking as well. Done same day! Sammy was great, polite, worked hard and was very customer service oriented! Kevin gave us a very fair price and blew away 2 other proposals. We'd recommend Grout Experts in a heartbeat! Thanks Kevin and Sammy. read more

This company is great. I scheduled the free estimate online and received a response back with the confirmation right away. Mike came out to my house and was professional and knowledgeable. I thought he took the time to understand exactly what we needed and the estimate was very reasonable. Steve was the tech on the job, very nice man and he did such a great job with the grout, cleaning and caulking. The work was done exactly as promised. I can't say enough great things about this company. read more

Grout Experts was amazing from start to finish! Kevin responded promptly to my inquiry about grout work and scheduled an estimate at a time convenient for my family. Mike came out to provide a free estimate and was able to answer all of my questions. Sonny performed the tile work shortly after and did an amazing job! The grout work is beautiful, and my bathrooms look like new! The showers and flooring truly exceeded my expectations. And all of the gentlemen were very courteous and knowledgeable. Thank you! read more

Great work. Very personable and attentive staff. Corbin is outstanding at his job and kept me updated on progress throughout the way.

The team did an amazing job on our shower! It looks brand new. Everything was easy. We even needed a new shower door and they even helped us with that, using one of their trusted vendors. I would highly suggest this company! read more

I got an estimate from them but did not use them so I can't speak to their quality of work. I got two other estimates and they were 1/3rd of the price of this company. $2825 vs. $950. I was pleased with the work of the other company. read more

This company is great! Mike came out and gave me an estimate. He explained everything to me and answered all my questions. The next day I called to set up my appointment. They were able to come out 7 days later which was perfect for me. Sonny came to do the work and he was awesome. My shower and floor look brand new. He did not leave a mess and told me what products to use so I don't mess up my beautiful bathroom. I would highly recommend this company. read more

5 stars and more for an excellent experience with Grout Experts. From my first contact with Michael, who arrived on time to provide the free estimate, to the completed work in our bathroom and kitchen, I was impressed with the professionalism, knowledge and friendliness of the team. They also bent over backwards to squeeze us in due to our circumstances. Most important, the job was done efficiently with beautiful workmanship and cleanup. I highly recommend this company! read more

Professional company from start til finish. Quick and efficient. Free inspection and estimates. Have used twice on two different bathrooms getting grout, tile and caulking done. Top notch work. Will use again when the time is needed. Kevin, Mike and Corbin all easily and friendly to work with. Prices are fair and reasonable. Highly recommended. read more

Cant even leave a star. BUYER BEWARE! There is a reason they changed company names. They came out and re-grouted our shower. I noticed they missed an entire section. They did come back out but within a week the grout cracked around the seam. I had water coming through the ceiling and windows. I had to call a plumber out on a Sunday and had 3 holes cut in my ceiling to see what was the cause. It turns out they did not SEAL AT THE SEAM! Water was coming through the cracked grout. I called to workout a resolution. Kevin played the blame game. Did not mention a solution or even a compromise. There workmanship and customer service is horrendous. GO ELSEWHERE! read more

Excellent company to work with. Professional and reliable. Our floor looks brand new. We would absolutely recommend them!

I hired this firm (formerly Grout Medics) to remove/replace the silicone around 2 showers and our kitchen sink and to add grout to ONE tile on the bathroom floor. Mike, who quoted the job seemed very knowledgeable and friendly. He quoted $485 for 3-4 hours work. I emailed the owner before I hired them and he said he could do the work for $450. Michael did the work in 1.5 HOURS! Which led me to believe that the job wasn't worth $450 at all, but maybe $300 at the most. When you think about the amount of skill required (as compared to an electrician or plumber etc), the job wasn't worth what I paid (I pay $159 to have my AC unit checked out annually, which takes 1 to 1.5 hours). I reached out to the owner 2x over email over a week and a half voicing my unhappiness about the amount I paid and got no response. Michael did a fine job - I had to clean up after him - old silicone on the counters and a granular-type coating on the floor. When this used to be Grout Medics, they had coupons to use. Didn't see any for this firm. read more

So, I just had my marble master shower completely redone. The thing about these guys is, they're pros. They know stone. And you can trust them. My stone was in such bad shape that they had to come back and do some extra work and apply an additional coat of seal. They did, no questions asked. Saved my shower, and gave me great advice about how to better maintain the stone in the future. I cannot recommend them enough. Mike, Tony, and Kevin are the real deal. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. read more

These guys are great: so polite and accommodating. We hadn't been able to use our shower for three weeks, as the pan was leaking and I waited for the plumber. He recommended the Grout Experts seal the tile around the shower. So, They came out for an estimate and even though they were booked out for days, the squeezed my smaller job in so we could use our shower again. Would use the Grout Experts again in a heartbeat. In fact, I have a floor who's grout is cracking in the kitchen....they will be the ones! highly recommend read more

The technician did an excellent job replacing a couple of cracked tiles in our 3x3 stand up shower. He also removed the mildew/mold that had been accumulating in the old grout and regrouted the shower beautifully. It's been 2 months so far and no mildew has returned. He was kind and hard working. We also had the shower pan reglazed and despite the horrible chemical odor that comes with having the work done (and lingers for days), was worth it in the end. However, the reason I couldn't give 5 stars is because of management and customer service. When I scheduled the estimate, the employee felt it was appropriate to share her dislike of Chicago (where I live with my family) and how she would never raise her kids in the city. Then when I went to book the work, I called the owner directly (his cell number was on the follow up email), and he immediately informed me that he does not schedule appointments. But that he would do it since I called him (annoyance apparent in his voice). Both of these instances almost caused me to take my business elsewhere but I was so tired of researching this project and just wanted to get it done. Note to management-- Future potential customers may not be as forgiving as I was. read more

So, first we tried to clean the grout. We hired a guy to do this. I told him he had to get the grout clean and consistent. He just said I will do my best. I told him that if he could not get it clean and consistent that I would stop him and get someone to do something different. Well we stopped him and then called Grout Experts back. I cleaned the Grout with an Acid Wash and wire brush. I did this for the whole Kitchen, Laundry Room, Closet and Pantry. It had t be done to get the top surfaced roughed up. Grout Experts had another way of doing this but I had already completed the job when I called them. So, they came and gave me a new quote since they did not have to prepare anything. They fixed the bad grout spots and then proceeded to paint all the grout. It took the guy about 4.5 hours. When he was done we inspected it and had him do a couple of minor touch-ups. No big deal. When completed the floor looked like it did when it was new. GREAT! We said we should have done this years ago. Would I recommend them, in a heart beat. The price was really reasonable. Not much more than the guys that said they could clean it. So, now I know painting/staining the grout is the way to go when you can't wash away the dirt. The paint covers and seals the grout and goes on even no matter what the grout looks like. Do yourselves a favor and hire these guys when you need to do something about your dirty grout that won't come clean. read more
