But I still needed it fixed. I called AMB for a REPAIR estimate. What we received instead were two NEW roof estimates. One for $79,455 and the second one for $66,755. This was after they took a core sample. Do your research when working on your roof. We absolutely did not need a new roof. We knew that and every other company that came out, agreed. I was not going to post a review on this ridiculous encounter until the company we actually hired to repair and reseal the roof came across the core sample. They informed us that it was not put back properly and was actually stuck back in with caulk and the caulk used doesn't even adhere to roofing materials. Had this not been found and repaired properly, we could have had serious roof and interior damage. Unbelievable. This whole experience is, at the minimum, really bad business practices. At the most, it borders on fraud and negligence. Buyer beware. Update: I obviously ruffled some feathers. lol. I initially had written a six page review, listing every single detail but decided against posting that. Nobody is interested in reading a novel. Bottom line is we called for a repair. We do not need a new roof. We needed repairs and a reseal. We discussed a repair. AMB pushed for a full, new roof quote as the "repair quote would be 50% of what a new roof would cost". My husband said fine, but that he was really only interested in a repair. Btw, I am only discussing here the house and attached garage. The detached garage is an entirely separate issue. My husband is sitting here flabbergasted at this company's response to the core sample and how it was left. Because what was said here is not what he was told on site. I stand by my review and every word. The sales person saw a big house on 12 acres and assumed deep pockets and a huge sale. Big mistake

New roof looks awesome!! Got it done basically in a day and the entire property was clean before they left. Overall, communication was the absolute highlight. I would HIGHLY recommend these folks. Oh, they were the best in pricing as well. We had about 5 estimates. Most in the same area with one outlier. Thanks for everything!!

There were no unexpected additional costs or "nickel and diming". The work was completely thoroughly, beautifully and on time. There was no punch list of left over finishing work to complete at a later date. The crew worked full days at every opportunity - weather was the only time we didn't see them. They were the epitome of kind and respectful throughout quarantine - always giving us space when the kids were running around or we needed to get bikes out of the garage. They kept the job site clean which we appreciated because we were working and distance learning from home. Thoughtful, personable and fun, they cheered on my son as he made soccer goals from their ladders all while setting boards in place. You can tell there's a great culture at Muller that encourages hard work and teams who enjoy working well together. We were told the crew that was at our home, led by Ishmael, has been with Muller for 17 years (I hope I'm getting that correct) which goes to show employees are treated well, and it's a long-standing business. Rob came by daily to check on progress and make sure we were pleased. And we are! I would whole-heartedly recommend Muller and feel fortunate our neighbor recommended them to us.

We also had them put gutters up in front and on our pole barn. The front gutters seemed to be installed correctly but the pole barn gutters were installed improperly and fell to the ground with the first snow storm. We asked Charlie to fix/reinstall the gutters since his employees did not properly secure it. Charlie stated he would fix it so as installed properly. Then we received a contract to pay for wood to install the gutters and were told he would not fix it unless we signed the blank estimate. There wasn't an amount on it, so we told him we wanted to know the extra charge (we didn't feel we should have been charged anything, but would be willing to pay for extra material if that's what we needed). Charlie then stated he needed to charge for more labor costs and materials, and said he has to "take care of his boys" and said he would charge us to reinstall it properly (as if it was a new project). He refused to fix the issue his employees caused and now we're out the money we originally paid to have gutters put up and have to pay someone else to do the job correctly. We do not recommend them and wish we'd read the Yelp reviews when the contractor (who built the porch) recommended Charlie Copely.

We had several estimates from companies that never returned calls or texts or inflated the costs because they new we needed a new roof ASAP. From the beginning we talked to Cathy who was extremely knowledgeable and talked to us every time we needed to make decissions and she even helped us pick out the color. If she was not available we always got a real person to talk to or had the option of visiting their office. Bob came out and could not have been more compationate to our immediate needs and addressed our problems . The crew was on time, efficient and courtious. Im not sure how anyone can not appreciate the hard work these people do replacing peoples roofs in the heat and poor weather conditions we have had. Not alone going up and down ladders carrying heavy equipment. They cleaned everything up upon completion. It was so nice dealing with a family owned buisiness that definately showed pride in their work and valued communications with the customer which other companies did not do. We cannot thank them enough and have already recommened them to our family and friends.

The history why I have a trust with the company. My latest project was new soffits, gutters and guards. I am very happy that I do not expect to climb the ladders and the soffits are now venting the attic properly. My home now has a much better curb appeal. However, the experience was not like I had in the past. I am very disappointed. Surprise: the next day after 8:00 a sub-contractors van shows up. They are wearing shirts with another firm's name on the back. The worker has a printout with instructions and tells me there in nothing about replacing the freeze boards. The quote was based upon a sales meeting and his instructions. Based upon my past with Peterson I expected the quote was complete. Apparently, they stopped doing clear all inclusive pricing. Sloppy work and left my yard filthy with dozens of nails, aluminum piece, scrap wood insulation all over the yard and deck. I'll be looking for, and picking up the mess over the next few weeks. The use of tarps would have reduced the mess. I had a the roof replaced by Phoenix Exteriors a few weeks earlier and only found three nails near the downspouts. When I pointed out a couple of sloppy points, my home was blamed: "older house is not straight". Flashing with bubbles, and gaps where the strips tuck. The issues show up on the new "freeze boards." Not confident if the boards were put on straight. Taking advantage of elderly customers is not successful business practice. Scheduling: I had to call the office to get on the schedule. I was told Sept, 30, no one showed up. Two days later I called back and transferred to a manager. He seemed surprised and told me he would get back that afternoon. 20 days later I get a call: they are coming out the next day - 7:30 am. Lack of and poor communication is fixable. Peterson had an opportunity keep a returning customer. These issues point to a change in work ethic and can be fixed with a little effort. It's disappointing to see another local business get sloppy.
