We had used this window washer company several times in the past. Usually great service and very neat. Our appointment yesterday was solicited several days in advance and we prepared our home and window treatments. They gave us a 11-1 window for the service call. As 1:00 approached there was no sign of the work. I called and eventually they said there was a mix up and someone would be out. D was his initial. We heard nothing the rest of the day, no call, no reschedule or apology for that matter. I like that Rokas was on time, (actually early!) and that he was professional, very efficient, he went straight to work! Rokas didn't require help or oversight at all. He was careful with my interior belongings. Polite. I added screens to my scope on the morning he arrived. The man I spoke to at the home office was very flexible and added screens to the order no questions asked. Ernest Window cleaning uses text messaging to communicate which I LIKE. Left a garden hose running in my pool after turning it on to fill his bottles for cleaning. Hose ran for 4 hours flooding back yard causing structural damage to the pool walls. Owner RUDE AND OBNOXIOUS called me 4 hours after that said he saw no flood in the backyard , of course it was'nt the ground absorbed it up by then. I got a quote from this company to wash windows and screens in/out, and clean gutters. When they came today to do the work, they said their quote didn't include the screens even though it says screens included on their quote. Don't do business with this company. We used Ernest Windows previously. They did not complete the services as requested: - Requested cleaning skylights - they were not cleaned. - requested cleaning chandeliers -also not cleaned - fan not cleaned - they removed screens to clean them and didn't keep track which went where and left one laying around by the back of the house. They showed up without a ladder tall enough to reach the chandeliers, ceiling fan or skylights. They never came back to complete the services. They wouldn't respond to email. When I called, Ernest agreed to issue a refund but never sent a refund. Additional calls went to voicemail and never returned. I went to his business address which was a home, with an older lady who did not speak English. They wanted to add 3% on top if paid by card, which was not communicated at the time of the estimate. Unfortunately we paid by check, so we couldn't stop or contest the charges. The service absolutely is not worth what they charged and the quality was not there. Upon scheduling an appointment, I was not notified that it was cancelled due to the weather until the arrival window closed. When calling to reschedule, I was met with frustration and was spoken over by Ernest. When explaining that they did not give notice of cancellation until I reached out to the employee myself, I was then interrupted and yelled at. this company is terrible. they showed up trying to charge more than the quote. my neighbors used this company and got a low quote because "they have substantially smaller screens" well we measure the screens and turn out my screens were smaller. absolute scam of a company. I would recommend hiring someone else or doing it yourself. Oh should I mention you hung up on a customer who has been with you for 20 years when all she wanted to ask was why you're charging more? counted the number of windows on my house before calling for an appointment for window cleaning (inside and out). Was given an estimate and the crew showed up and did a very nice job...but after they left, I realized that I was charged more than what was quoted...called the office later and was told that I was charged for 13 more windows than I actually have...then they sent me a piece of paper that says that sliding or casement windows are charged as 2 windows per...why? is there more glass? Ernst windows was originally scheduled for a 9 am Monday appointment. On Sunday they texted and changed it to 10 am Monday. By 10:30 with no serviceman in sight we called them and they said he'd be there in thirty minutes. An hour and 45 minutes later he shows up! Serviceman was not friendly. He did not want to clean the window sills unless we paid him extra ( we had been informed that since we personally clean our windows every year, there would not be an extra charge.They only charge if window sills are extremely dirty which they weren't!) He finally agreed to wipe the sills but did not wipe the very small inside casing at the bottom of the windows. It would have taken him 10 seconds a window to do that! Then we were informed for the very first time if we paid by credit card there would be a 5% charge! I would never use this company again nor recommend them. Buyer beware. read more

Just because they are willing to come out the same day doesn't mean they will do a good just means they are responsive. Have an 986sq ft home gutters in the front and back. Four downspouts left a debris in the downspouts. Damaged gutters. Should have listen to The owner when he said oh you didn't read the bad reviews the ones that didn't make it on yelp. Yeah read those cuz those are factual. He called me a liar when I shower him pictures of the gutters not being cleaned. As usual when you get a quote online when they actually do the work the price is higher than quoted. In this case from $115 to $157. Windows are much cleaner than before but not perfect. They did not get into corners and left drip marks on storm door windows. I do not have the ability to keep taking days off to have workers come to house. read more
