We used Peerless for a new roof and new gutters on our home. They provided a very timely detailed quote so we knew what the total cost would be. They replaced the roof and gutters a week after we signed the agreement. Blake and Kyle and others were great to work with and we are very satisfied with the quality of work of their crews. They were the only company that provided a detailed estimate to us. One roofing company gave us just a dollar amount and nothing in writing. Another roofing company provided an estimate but it had very little details as to what additional costs could be possibly incurred if there was any underlying roof damage. They weren't the lowest priced estimate but they were competitive with the lowest estimate received. Peerless Roofing was recommended to me by a neighbor who had his roof done by them approximately ten years ago. My experience with this company has been very good, starting with the initial visit and inspection through the installation of the gutters and downspouts. Of all the roofers I had out to give estimates, Blake and his team were the only ones to physically go up on the roof to do an inspection. All the others merely stood on the ground and did visual inspections. Blake also gave a very honest assessment of the roof's condition (i.e. that it could last another 2-3 years) whereas all the other roofers just said it needed to be replaced. This honesty was one of the reasons I gave Peerless the job. Their estimate was also very detailed, so as to make comparisons with other bids easy, whereas some of the "bids" were nothing more than a contract to sign with all the details done verbally. Once the job was started, the crew worked extremely hard, from 6:30 in the morning until after 6 at night. All landscaping was covered and the group did a conscientious clean-up when the job was complete. The gutters were done the next day and that crew also worked very fast and did a great job. All in all, Peerless did a very professional job from beginning to end. While not the cheapest company, I felt that the job they did was well worth the cost of the contract. Wanted to update my review as I had ANOTHER EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE with Peerless!!! They installed new retrofit gutter guards. Again, I can't say enough! Super quick turn around between requesting an estimate and installation. I did my due diligence and priced a couple of other competitors and they were each far more costly(between 2.5-7x more!!!) His was also the best quote for replacement and he immediately sent someone out to cover the roof until the job could start. About a week ago a Peerless roofing employee named Rick came to my home and was one of the rudest salesperson I have had the displeasure of meeting. My insurance adjustor made a Sunday appointment but Rick decided he didn't want to work on a Sunday so he asked me to give him the adjustors contact information so he could change the appointment to a more convenient time for him. I told Rick that the appointment was set and so he needed to be here if he wanted to do the work. He responded that that would be a huge mistake as my insurance company would surely try to underpay me and only he could make sure I recieved what I had coming. I again to Rick that the adjustor would be here Sunday. His response was I don't need your headache. I don't need your business and we are busy so I'm not coming. I had the adjustor come out to my house and guess what I'm getting a new roof gutters and down spouts. My insurance company didn't try to short me they were polite and professional. I complained on the peerless website to inform the owners of the situation and here is the owners response Hello Russ, This is Showki Badran the owner of Peerless Roofing, me and you emailed last week in regards to the experience you had with Rick and I explained to you that he had just started working for us recently and that he was still training and I apologized for the experience but I don't appreciate you going to our site online and posting that negative review. You obviously took it so personally that you felt you needed to do that and that really is a joke because if you see all of our reviews we have nothing but great reviews. This is not something someone who is fair and sincere would do. I called Peerless Roofing at 11:00 A.M. today to request repairs to badly deteriorated flashings on plumbing vents. Within an hour Peerless' Brian Geier arrived at my house , inspected the roof, completed the necessary repairs and was finished by 12:30 P:M.
