I have marble floor tile in my kitchen and bathroom that I wanted cleaned with the grout restored. I called CSI after reading so many 5-star reviews. When the estimator came to check out the job, he was very friendly and professional. I asked if they could also clean the mold in the bath grout (glass tile); he said yes so I asked him to add this to the proposal. I discussed the proposal in detail over the phone and scheduled the job. The marble was cleaned and polished but some of the dirt in the cracks did not come off. My biggest disappointment, though, was that the mold in the grout between the bath shower tiles did not come off completely. When I asked why the black spots didn't come out, the reasoning that was given to me was that the mold is too deeply embedded in the grout. I asked whether the solution used contained bleach, and the answer was no, that bleach can cause damage to tiles, and the solution used (created by their own chemist) doesn't contain bleach for this reason. So I sprayed my own tile with bleach. The first picture shows before and after. On the left is the grout cleaned by CSI, and the picture on the right is 5 minutes after spraying with bleach. I expected the tile to look like the picture on the right when I asked CSI to include this in their quote (I paid $375 for this part of the work, when $5 bottle of bleach did the work). The second picture is the marble floors in the kitchen, finished product. Cleaned and polished, though still some dirt can be seen. Overall I liked the company and their customer service. I don't judge companies by their mistakes, but rather by how they respond to their mistakes. CSI was hired to do a partial restoration in our master bathroom, directly adjacent to newly finished wood floors. The technician protected a small area of the floor outside the bathroom and as he was packing up we noticed major abrasion marks through the new wood floors right outside of the covered area. The technician immediately denied any wrongdoing, even though the abrasion mark was freshly wet with some sort of chemical. After he left we were left to chase after their management who said there are two sides to every story and are denying all wrongdoing in the situation. Thea floors were only finished days before this work was done, and were in pristine condition. They started every conversation by saying how transparent and honest they are, by then proceeding to give us the middle finger on damage they caused...we are so upset by this situation.. Our warning to you is to go with another local company, or if you absolutely have to use CSI, take photos of everything they might touch so you're prepared to win whatever legal battle they leave you with. We hired CSI absolute clean to come in and refinish bathroom floors in our home. Prior to leaving, one of their technicians caused damage to freshly refinished wood floors outside of their working area. As a female, I felt extremely discriminated against not only by the male technician but Caesar from their main office when discussing the issue we were facing. They immediately put blame on me saying there was no way they could've caused the damage. The area of damage was wet with chemicals, and the only person in the room that day was their technician. The technician had a buffer/ sander with many different chemicals/ finishes with him. This company can clean almost everything! We moved into a house and inherited a beautiful limestone fireplace. Unfortunately, it was stained with soot from the previous owners. These people are gooood! I had a reservation at 9, this gentleman who is very young shows up promptly at 9 and gets down to business. We had 5 chairs and an area rug that needed cleaning. One of the chairs which is cream colored had a water stain on it that I was hoping can be removed. The guy spent a good half an hour on that chair making sure there is nothing left of the stain. He cleaned everything immaculately. Make sure to note ahead if you want solvent based cleaners so that they will bring them along. We just had our 3rd or 4th annual commercial cleaning with CSI Absolute Clean. I really like that that have great, caring and friendly service, staying in touch both before and after the service. We get reminder emails, arrival calls, follow up emails to ensure costumer satisfaction. The very first time we used CSI Absolute Clean, they were very accommodating with the business hours of our nail salon. They were thorough and efficient, and we were extremely satisfied with the service in all ways. When we used them again for the 2nd or 3rd time, they had sent a newer, less thorough and more rushed cleaning technician who had left us with damp carpets and less than a satisfactory experience. The customer service center did a follow up call and we explained our experience to them. They listened patiently with care and ensured they will follow up with the technician and will do a better job next time. I really like that they care about their quality. This last time around, the technician called upon timely arrival. However, they didn't have an air blower in their car, and since we had 1 experience with the damp carpets, our manager requested the air blower/dryer. The technician was willing to drive back to their office to retrieve the requested tool. Even though the job started about 45 minutes later then scheduled due to our request, the technician did not rush the job and still did a very thorough and careful cleaning, just like our first experience. Over promised and under delivered It's been almost year since I had CSI in to repair marble tile I had etched by using the wrong cleaner. Address a stain on my granite & clean and revitalize tile and grout in my shower in the master entire bath. I was told it would "look like new" The office staff was friendly and the gentleman who came to estimate the job was courteous and attentive with speedy responses to any question I had. That's the good. The bad. I just feel they over promised and under delivered. My home is not old only five years but as a new homeowner and first time with natural stone I probably didn't seal everything correctly (rookie mistake). They did say they were not sure about the stain in my granite but I was assured the bathroom would look like new. It didn't not even close. I mentioned it at the time and they tried again. It didn't ever come close to looking like new. I was then told if have to re grout everything. If that was the case that should have been the recommendation from the beginning. The granite stain is still there (but they did not guarantee anything). They did restore the section of marble I etched but the vast majority of the work looked like nothing had been done. Horrible experience. I had originally hired CSI Abolute based on the reviews. It seem to be a reliable and professional company. However, yesterday when technicians were supposed to be at my place by 3pm, secretary calls me (at 3:00 p.m.) saying that they are running late. I asked how late, and her response was "they'll be there probably by 5 p.m." A two-hour delay is not a misshap . . . it is a complete lack of competence. A day before service, I called asking them to give me a courtesy call when technicians were on their way so I could leave work a little earlier. Yesterday secretary has the nerve to say "well, you didn't receive a call from anybody so you couldn't assume they were going to be there by 3" I was NOT assuming anything. I have a confirmation email and a work order stating time of service. EVEN if technicians were running late, they could have called by 2:30p.m. the latest to inform me about delay. Secretary then says "just go back to work and come back by 5" ... If you played with my time, I don't play with my job. I can't be in and out just because of your lack of responsibility. I think they did a great job on my granite countertops. They are 20 years old and hadn't been sealed or polished since they were installed, but they looked great after cleaning. The only problem is the company name. The only reason I found them is that another company was too busy and recommended them instead. Who would find a granite clean and repair service with this name? Sal just left our home and left our marble tiles and countertop looking better than new.
