This place is really cool. Great location on Miracle Mile by UOP. I could see parking being somewhat difficult on a busy weekday during class time, but on a Sunday in august it was easy-peasy. Very nice owner explained the menu (they don't have espresso drinks, they French press their signature coffees) and we ordered a sweetened seaside mango tea (iced) and a hammered French press coffee in the "sweet and creamy" style. Also ordered a cinnamon roll. Seaside mango is very refreshing and exactly the right amount of sweet (you can still taste the tea). Hammered coffee was much the same, just the right amount of sweet and creamy without completely masking the French press coffee. It was advertised as a light roast and tasted like a light roast. Excellent. Cinnamon roll was a commercially-produced cinnamon roll, which the owner was forthcoming about, but it certainly wasn't bad. 3 bucks or so for the pastry, which seems fair. Will be back! The ambiance is great with nice big windows looking out onto pacific ave, with nice gentle interior lighting and a comfy couch with coffee table if you'd like to lounge. read more

My new favorite spot! Recently came back to Stockton after a couple years out of town, and I'm really happy to have a new go-to cafe close to work. I'm usually pretty picky with my matcha lattes but somehow Groundstack Coffee blew me away so much that I had to come back two days in a row :). Just discovered this place over the weekend when looking for a coffee shop rather than Starbucks or Dutch Bros. When we came in, in was peaceful, clean, and really nice vibes! We were greeted with great service and assisted with the menu. The young lady that helped us asked if it was our first time and gave us the un down on everything! It was my first time visiting today and I absolutely found my new coffee spot! As a Bay Area native, there are so many hand crafted coffee places and I have yet to find one here--- until today! The staff is so nice and knowledgeable, and they took the time to explain the menu and the crafting to me. I was amazed at the flavor of the coffee without using artificial sweeteners or ingredients. This is a new place that just recently opened! I don't really like coffee but I had to try this place. They do have tea options as well! This is a good place to hang out and study as well since it's right across from UOP. The employees will greet you and walk in, and if you have any questions about the menu, please speak to the manager, Mark! He'll definitely answer your questions! They have panini sandwiches now, too! It's definitely a must try! My boyfriend usually gets the fisherman's wharf, and he loves it! I get the seaside mango tea, and I have an option to put honey or not. I came back a week later and I got the Diablo Mountain hot coffee, the empire state panini and the Piazza de Ferrari. As someone who is always trying to get away from Starbucks, ESPECIALLY these days, I came out of Groundstack actually missing Starbucks. You know when you can tell a coffee is gonna be good or bad just by looking at it. Well, unfortunately it was exactly like that. My partner and I ordered an iced matcha latte and an iced black tea with oat milk and brown sugar and although they weren't the worst drinks ever, we probably won't be back. The drinks looked and tasted mid and weren't even filled to the top. We had such high hopes considering they had 5 stars and over 100 reviews, but we left very disappointed. read more

I tried this place from the recommendation of fellow Yelpers. I went first on Monday, and got the Pershing It (iced), and it was dreamy. If you love cardamom, you will love it! I told my family about it and we visited again on Thursday. I tried the Ben's Fave (iced), which was delicious as well. I found it to be too sweet for my taste, but I definitely want to try everything on the menu! This isn't your typical coffeehouse, and I like it that way. The quality is noticeably there, and it makes your coffee experience more savory. I like that they sweeten/flavor their coffees naturally (e.g., dates, coconut, etc.), and do not use flavored syrups. The only thing that would make it more feasible to make this place my regular coffee-stop would be if the pricing was more reasonable. It is higher-priced, and I totally understand why, and can appreciate them doing something right. It just will have to be the once-in-a-blue-moon treat for me, which I am ok with. read more

Wooow i've never had coffee that's naturally flavored!!! My drink is so decadent, light and delicious. A genuinely good coffee bean selection too. Staff was very nice and Mark was especially helpful. All I can say is it's 1am, and I'm wide awake. I bought my coffee around 12:30pm, and in typical mom fashion, it took me 5 hours to drink it.
