EXCELLENT! I was traveling for a work event and looked up coffee shops in the area to visit while I was there. I decided to try Groundstack and it did not disappoint! Amazing service - very thoughtful/friendly gentleman and I appreciate his drink recommendations. I had the Diablo Mountain and it exceeded my expectations. The coffee had such a great and unique flavor. It didn't taste too sweet and I didn't have to add any sweetener. It was just right! I love that they use natural ingredients and no yucky fake syrups. That's a big plus for me. I wish this coffee shop was located close to my home! If I ever end up in Stockton again I'll definitely be going back to Groundstack. read more

Nice coffee shop, great surprise. To preface, I'm not a coffee snob, I'm not a reviewer. I was compelled to write this review because of how good this drink was. I got the praline whatever thing on the right side of the menu. I don't remember. It has hints of praline and it was on the bottom third of the right side of the menu. Tastes pretty good. Solid A. Starbucks could never. The way they flavor it is apparently by using real extracts from real ingredients. The drink I had was iced and was praline and nutty. That's always nice. I'm not a sucker for gimmicks like that but whatever they were cooking worked. Take this as a testament that I am not bias because they're all natural or whatever. Purely based on taste is why I would rate this place a 5/5. The menu was medium sized. Enough to have a lot of options. When you go in, just decide if you're in a sweet or bitter mood and go from there. I was helped by the Asian girl. I don't bother to remember names because that's how I am. She was pretty helpful after she saw me analyzing the menu for 3 minutes. Great customer service. Place is a bit cozy so if you were planning to come in a work on your manuscript or whatever, better come early. They also deliver with door dash too. There are very few businesses I will drive more than an hour out to that isn't Hello Kitty themed. This shop is one of them. The cold brew was actually quite delicious. I had this drink called the Sunset, which I'd recommend for a nice hazelnut feel. The panini was also delicious. I liked there was a vegetarian-friendly option. They specialize with French press and their specialty menu is really customized, all the flavors are natural. Their cold brews are really good. I recommend the sunset, it has chocolatey taste and the fisherman wharf is also my favorite if you want something that is a little bit stronger. They also have herbal teas and panini sandwiches. Groundstack is also pet friendly and good spot for college student to study and hang out. On top of that UOP student gets 10% discount if you show them your student ID card. i've been excited about its opening since i saw the store sign up! boyfriend and i ordered the lands end and fisherman's wharf. we loved both drinks! the cashier (i'm assuming the owner) was so sweet and still tried to have a conversation with us, despite it being busy (they were the only person working). i was surprised that it was so spacious inside and even had a couch. the location is super convenient (esp for UOP students), though the parking is a bit of a struggle (limited parking in front and back). i'm excited to try more drinks and eventually their food. i'm so hopeful about the ultimate long-term success of this business. :) read more

The iced 8th st is my favorite and it had the Perfect amount of cinnamon look forward to trying out other drinks!

At first I got East to West (Earl Grey) with oat milk and then got the By the Beach Iced tea. It's really good. Mine was lightly sweetened with agave and I really liked it. I work remote so I always look for coffee shops to go to for a change of scenery! Decided to go to ground stack and off the bat I love the aesthetic and it was a nice ambiance. I met the owner, mark and he was a gem! Super sweet and kind and I could tell he loves what he does. The shop was dedicated in honor of his late mom and it comes to show how much he loves his shop! I've been here 3 times and now it is time to offer my review. The professionalism, cleanliness and bevs/food are very consistent as well as the service. I just witnessed the owner and his team deal with a disgruntled customer who came back 2 days after purchasing from this establishment and the staff took there time to rectify the situation even though they did not have to. That's an example of going above and beyond for a customer who imo was in the wrong (I overheard the convo).
