After we were finished eating we couldn't get our server to come back to clear the some of the dishes away. (We needed room on the table because we were presenting my FIL with a bday gift.) My SIL paid the check but hadn't gotten her receipt or her card back from our absentee server. When our server did come back she apologized by saying how busy it was. It wasn't the least bit busy.The restaurant wasn't even at half capacity. Most of the customers were at the bar. If these huge restaurant chains want to know why people are flocking to locally owned family restaurants with better food and service this is why. Because they suck.

It had just the right combination to be tasty but not "sloppy". My waitress continued to check on me and as busy as it was for a Monday I never felt rushed, hurried or forgotten. As a bonus, there was spring training baseball on two of the TVs which is always a win in my book.
