What a place! We tried to get in last week with no reservation... Joke. But it's okay! We got one for this week and it worked out! Staff is amazing and very kind. It's a smaller place, but they also have an outside patio (with fire for when it's cold). Fall cocktail flight is a MUST for this season. Just look how fun they are!! There's a PIE ON A DRINK!? This place has been on my radar forever, and I finally made the trip. Truthfully, I had a bit of trepidation entering the restaurant because A. I had to drive through a DOWNPOUR B. We were sat at a table full of menus (some of which were just printouts) that other diners apparently had left C. We had to ask for a beer menu, and my dining partner raised his eye to see Oktoberfest in June (they didn't have it) D. Service was a little slow at first. The initial vibe made me worry that this spot was all flash and no substance, but my fears were quickly put to ease. Once we got to ordering, everything went super smooth, and this hole in the wall turned out to be a gem. Our server, Erin, was super friendly and predicted our every need, the kind of waitress who brings ketchup to the table with your fries automatically while juggling two HUGE serving boards of food. Seriously, a superhero. I didn't have high expectations for the food because the menu seemed kinda basic, the photos I saw online seemed fine, and I had a hunch that maybe the restaurant put all of its effort into the over-the-top cocktails. I'm thrilled to say I was wrong. As a pescatarian, I had limited options, but my salmon and avocado sandwich was phenomenal. The salmon was large, perfectly cooked and not dry in the least. The avocado was heaping and at peak ripeness. The portion was plentiful, and I actually had to take half home. (Yay next day lunch leftovers!) The fries were crisp, golden brown, and well-seasoned. I'd be lying if I said the drinks weren't the star of the show though. I've been eyeing the fun and inventive cocktails on the restaurant's Instagram for a long time now. I opted for the martini of the month, which was a picnic PBJ. The glass was lined with smears of peanut butter and jelly and filled with a pink liquid. The plate was garnished with PBJ uncrustable bites, and a mini picnic basket full of grapes and little toy bottles. Yes, it's kitschy, but in the most wonderful way. Since I'm a crafter and a kid at heart, I'd probably have been happy with the presentation even if the drink was so-so, but this drink was ROCKING. I'm not normally a martini person and worried it would be too strong, but it was so sweet and lived up to the promise of tasting like a drinkable PBJ. There are so many fun cocktail options on this menu, and definitely more I'd love to try! All in all, this place won my heart. I'll be back! Went to the peacock with some coworkers - it was excellent! We definitely went for the fun drinks, but were pleasantly surprised by the juiciness and size of the burgers. The wing trio - the wings were smothered in sauce, which I love, with unique flavors and combinations. The pineapple was more of show than drink, but the fishbowl was a good size, as well as the margaritas! Desserts were really good sizes too. I will be honest when I pulled up I started to get discouraged as it's tucked in a strip mall with mostly non eating businesses. We were seated quickly and already had menus on the table. I asked for something sweet and the waitress made a great recommendation. Our appetizers were my favorite part of the meal. The spin dip is incredible- you have to spend the extra $2 on pita points it's totally worth it. The bada bang shrimp was flavor-filled and just the right amount of spice. My father inhaled the meatballs for anyone else could try one so I assumed they tasted well. My burger was decent, a little over cooked but I enjoyed the concept. Hot chicken wings are a classic Buffalo Chicken wing. The Utica Greens are good, but not an authentic Utica Greens.... They were chopped nicely with a good flavor, but they were definitely lacking in parmigiana and bread crumbs and were not put in the oven after the sauté. We've been twice and will be back again. We also got the slider trio and I have to say the Bad Influence is a must try here. Wife and I had a cozy table right under the neon lights - (makes for great IG shots - LOL) I had the seafood special pasta (not sure what it was called but it had lobster in it) while the wifey had the Asiago Chicken. We tried the cauliflower cheese pizza with sausage. This pizza had solid favor, good with a crispy crust. The Rib eye steak with homemade mashed potatoes was a slight disappointment. For an area where you can get a Delmonico steak for a few dollars more, this was the wrong menu item to order. Properly cooked medium steak, lack flavor, quality and ounces. Overall this place is super cute. Our waitress was young and a little frazzled but okay. We started with a bunch of drinks and the chicken wing flight which was really good. We had a reservation and they gave us possibly the smallest table you could do for a party of four. I felt like I was at the kids table at a family party that I didn't even want to be at! Fries were ok. Everyone at the table had the same opinion on the food. There were many other seating options available and the fact that they had the audacity to seat us at this tiny table while they were seating parties of 2 at tables meant for 6 really speaks volume about this place. I have been to this place twice and have loved it both times. To start I got the cocktail flight, all were so yummy ($18). We chose to get the spinach and artichoke dip with the pita points ($1.50 extra) and so glad we did! It was delicious! For dinner I got the chicken and asparagus pasta that was very good. My husband got the steak and Guinness mac & cheese. The only complaint I have: the steak comes with a side but the sides are not clear. He asked for mashed potatoes but they said they didn't have them, so the waitress suggested the Mac and cheese which he accepted. It turned out that picking the Mac and cheese was $5.99 extra, which if we would have known, he would have chose something else. Steak is expensive to just come with one side. My suggestion would be a side and a veg. My husband for his drinks he got a martini to start and then he ordered the martini flight ($24), he enjoyed all this drinks. My advice: try the drink flights and call for reservations (seating is very limited inside, and outside is based on weather). Follow them on Facebook for weekly specials and weekly martini creation. very disappointed... I had birthday reservations this weekend. Then, they decided to close for the weekend, unexpectedly. They never called and canceled my reservations, so my large birthday party showed up with cake in hand. Upon entering, the manager said, "we are closed". I said, "oh, I didn't know, especially considering I had reservations." He replied with, "she called and canceled all reservation." I said, "clearly not mine or I wouldn't be here". He said, "hold on" and called the hostess (or whoever) made the calls. As he is talking to her, he looks up and says, "Yes, she said she called everyone." I was basically accused of being a liar. This has become a very successful restaurant, but you should never get so big that you don't care about your customers. I received no apologies.. just accusations and rudeness. read more

We were really excited to try Peacock because we've been seeing so much about their awesome cocktails, and we were not disappointed by the drinks! We got the Thanksgiving flight, and the drinks were so good, and definitely on the large side for a flight. Two of us split the flight and I definitely couldn't have finished it on my own. We also got dinner, and the people who got burgers really liked them. A couple of us got salmon and it was SUPER salty. I would absolutely go back and maybe just get a few appetizers to go with the cocktails. A few things to know before you go: This is a very small restaurant that feels like it is in a bar, so not a fancy place. Either make reservations or be prepared to sit at the bar... they are often fully booked and don't necessarily save tables for walk-ins, since there are only 10(ish) tables. read more

Thanks to the reviews of friendly service and truly tempting menu we enjoyed delicious Chicken Marsala and a perfect Philly steak sandwich. We ate at the bar and Laurie was friendly and attentive. We are so glad we found the Peacock and most definitely will return with friends. To ensure another joyful visit we will be making reservations.The place is small but is big in menu, drink selections and comfortable interior. It is not for kids . As seniors we felt younger in the midst of the happy patronage . Thanks to Yelp we found another happy place that made our day. We are proud as peacocks to have found a fantastic hidden treasure.
