Came across this place on social media and I'm so happy I did! First of all, the service was excellent! Their menu had many breakfast options. I had the Huevos Rancheros with barbacoa. The eggs were cooked perfectly with a delicious salsa on top, the potatoes were soft inside with a nice crisp on the outside. The beans had a great flavor and texture and I loved the little touch of chorizo on top of the refried beans. The barbacoa was not overly greasy and the plate was served with homemade tortillas. The food was delicious and the coffee was on point. Loved the friendly atmosphere. Can wait to try their dinner options. I will definitely go back! Delicious Mexican cuisine! This place is a must try!

No need to the menu, it's been a slam dunk to order their elite fajitas. Ambience and comfort has been top notch. This year their beef fajitas were different. They seemed like a different cut of beef. They tasted alright, but texture was different. They weren't the "melt in your mouth" variety I remember. It wasn't the elite fajita place it was a year ago. Beyond the fajitas, the sides were excellent. The guacamole was perfect; pure avocado mashed to perfection with nothing else added. to it. Finally, they didn't have the green tomatillo salsa I was craving. I requested it, and it never came. No explanation. And they weren't busy at all being a Tuesday. I'll be going somewhere else next year for birthday fajitas.

Enjoyed the margaritas and excellent customer service from Katie. She expertly managed multiple tables, including an 8 top with ease and a smile. Management was helping out and delivered our food. All the food items were hot and plentiful. Restrooms were clean and well stocked. This spot is much smaller & broken up into rooms/sections. I didnt even look at the menu & I progressed to order my standard Black barrel margarita that I always order at my Sugarland Lupe Tortilla & they informed me they dont have it. They told me if I didnt want a frozen margarita which they had in the machines I needed to order the Margarita's that were on the menu. The bartender was friendly but the overall experience... the vibe & premium drink options were just off putting for me. My conclusion is that I will stick to my Sugarland location because all Lupe Tortillas are not created equal.

The food, the ambience, and the service are all outstanding. We went for Cinco de Mayo and the restaurant was packed however, from what I understand, it is often packed. Let's start with our server who was just wonderful. He not only guided us through the meal and the drinks, but he had very practical recommendations. His service was timely, and his friendliness was wonderful. We have the fajitas which were not only an apple serving, but the beef chicken and shrimp were all very flavorful. Typical to fajitas it came with enough accompaniments to really really make Forray a wonderful meal. The serving is so ample that it became a takeout meal as well. The ambience is typical of Mexican restaurants. However, the people who we were dining with in the same small dining room were incredibly friendly and old-time customers of the Restaurant. I can't tell you how many years. But given the food and service, I understand why. I'm guessing because it was Cinco de Mayo. There was also a mariachi band and they were just wonderful and added to the venue considerably. If you're in or around Katie Texas, you really do need to stop here.

The taco bowl was absolutely massive especially for a lunch size. Comes with tons of veggies, avacado and your choice of beef. We both ordered the ground beef enchiladas. They looked amazing. Brown gravy and the cheese sauce looked so yummy! We went for our first bite only to see literal puddles of orange/red grease all over our plates. Either they used the cheapest ground beef they could find or just didn't bother to drain it. In either case when the waiter finally came over to the table (after I flagged him down), we asked him about it and he said it's from the beef. YUCK!!! As a side note, the waiter's body odor about knocked us out. We truly wanted to love it, but sadly no.

Once seated, the waiter was very attentive and accommodating in checking in on us and getting our orders going. Food: 5/5 We ordered the beef and chicken fajitas to share. The beef fajitas were flavorful just as I'd hoped but the chicken was a bit dry. With the order we each get our own plate of rice and beans and choice of tortillas. The flour tortillas were delicious, almost like home made, so much so that I took the leftovers tortillas home to enjoy with butter. The highlight for me was the Skinny Margarita with my customization of adding a shot of Amaretto. I've been disappointed at other places because they never taste fresh, or have an extremely tart flavor, but the bartender had it down to a science because when I tell you from my first sip it was like heaven! Fresh, not too sweet and I only had one and was tipsy, I wasn't the only one. My two friends got the same one and agreed it was delicious and they too were tipsy. And you get your money's worth. I don't live in this area, but for this margarita, I may have to visit again soon. I'm thirsty thinking about it as I'm writing this and likely still thinking about it while you're reading this. I didn't get as many photos as I usually do, apologies, but I did get the Skinny margarita. Overall it was a good time, with good food and good drinks.

Between Saturday and Sunday, the only meal I had was Neca's nachos. I had to go to urgent care, where I was put on an IV and given medication to treat what was diagnosed as food poisoning. In addition to the above facts, my toddler ate a bit off my plate Saturday/Sunday and exhibited symptoms similar to mine. On Monday, June 30th at 9:04am, I called to share my experience with the staff. To be clear, my intention in calling was not to leave a negative review, but simply to bring the matter to the restaurant's attention - privately. Unfortunately, the owner, Albert, was defensive throughout the call. He said things like, "I don't doubt that happened, but we've never had a complaint," and dismissed my experience rather than showing concern. I explained I wasn't calling to leave a bad review but to make them aware. But alas, here we are. If you're looking for a place with good food and quality customer service, I suggest you look elsewhere. But if you're fine risking your health and dealing with defensive owners, Neca's may be the place for you.
