Overpriced, identical items are cheaper in the Bay area. Women are cut short on restrooms! As we were on a trip to camping, stops are important to use bathroom. I bumped into a man entering the bathroom and decided not to go there... what??? It was marked for BOTH men and women. Even if I recognize in my head that sacrifices should be made in the name of gender neutrality, my bladder still protests if I'm not comfortable, it's not symmetrical between the sexes. Looks are so deceiving. We drove 48 minutes to try this spot out and were extremely disappointed. We had such high hopes especially the booth behind us raving about how delicious the Mac and cheese was. I love Mac and cheese and get it every time it's on any menu.. The servers mentioned it being number one favorite. It was so dry to where it seemed like hardly any cheese sauce was there. It was baked too long. There was zero flavor. None. I had to add a pretty decent amount of salt. As a chef, I usually don't add too much because I feel as though I'm disrespecting the cook. It was not edible without it. The Sando was very basic and dry, the description stated there was bbq sauce which I didn't see nor taste. Aside from the server forgetting to put our order in, she was nice. No one else entered after us but it took over 30 minutes to receive our food... plus our table was dirty. The drive was absolutely not worth it, nor was the price. First time trying real bbq and it was terrific! You can order 2 or 3 meats in one order that comes with 2 sides and your choice of cornbread or garlic bread. They also give you a good amount of ranch, bbq sauce (tastes real authentic, unlike anything ive ever had before!), butter and (? i think) vinegar. Shown here: Starter of Bbq Mac, 2 meat order of Brisket and Sausage with Garlic bread and the sides of Onion Rings and Fries, then the sides of Chili Beans and Coleslaw with 2 meats of Pulled Pork and the 1/2 Chicken with cornbread All of this was around $87 and sooo fresh and tender, was ready in about 15 mins. We are a family of four, we ordered 2 burgers, one of which was totally overcooked, the other totally undercooked. I ordered a brisket salad which came with two scrawny pieces of dried leather they called brisket. service was ok but insulting as they should have obviously been interested in why we didn't eat our meals. First time visit on 29 May. Our group of four people all raved over the food and friendly service. Ribeye steaks were delicious. One of our part said it was possibly the best steak dinner he'd ever had. Generous sides of broccoli and green salad, too. Another in the group had jambalaya and said it was excellent. Small town, family friendly with some good BBQ is the best way to describe Griff's BBQ & Grill. Very clean, located in a great, safe, low key area and prices were not too bad. Decided to stop here after a job in the area. What caught my attention was a sign that said Barbecue. Curious, I decided to pull over and look them up on Yelp. Wasn't looking for a heavy BBQ meal, just a sandwich before I headed back on a hour commute. Walking to the door they had outside seating. The main door was this massive heavy front door, really impressive. I had a good feeling waking in smelling the smoke from the BBQ. Plenty of inside seating which is now available, which was perfect since it was quite hot outside. I sat near the bar on a high table seat. I didn't order any alcohol, but they had several beer taps and a full alcohol bar, with seating around the bar. I was seated right away and handed a menu. I ask what was their specialty and the waitress stated their hamburgers. I decided to skip the burger and go for the Brisket Sandwich with a side of chili (several sides to choose from). She mentioned everything was homemade, you could definitely notice. Let's start with the Chili, topped with cheese. Came out hot, very tasty and just enough kick. Not too hot, just right. I should have ordered a bigger size, next time for sure. The brisket had great bark, thick smoke ring, flavor was on point. Crispy bark and juicy middle. Served on a brioche bun and homemade BBQ Sauce. Best brisket I have had in a while. I decided to order 2 lbs of brisket to go ($20/lb) and 3 sides of the potato salad ($3 ea) after asking for a sample. Once again another hit out of the park. The family loved the dinner (3 of us). I will have left overs for tomorrow. Rounded the to go order with 3 orders of peach cobbler. It wasn't overly sweet, but was tasty. Not like my grandma's recipe, but good. Next time I'm in the area I will stop by or if I am just craving good BBQ I'll make the trip (approx 1 hr from my house). read more

Had lunch there today. I ordered the brisket salad, my son ordered the half chicken with fries and garlic bread, my husband ordered the hamburger. My husband enjoyed his hamburger. My salad was basic, a lot of lettuce, and not a lot of flavor, thank goodness for the balsamic dressing, the brisket was dry but tender. My son said the chicken lacked flavor... the only seasoning was a thin spread of BBQ sauce and he felt like a Costco chicken would have been way tastier. His fries were not fresh... were soggy and drenched in a garlic butter sauce. He also didn't like the garlic bread. Too bad... because options in Copper are minimal. read more

Amazing, the food was spectacular I went with my family of 6 and we shared 3 meals and they were amazing. I got the Brisket Burger and it came with a side so I got the regular fries, if you ever go make sure to ask for the ranch because all together it's spectacular, half of the burger was good enough to make me full. The staff were really nice and one of them suggested for us to try the chipotle ranch and it was good. It was very chill there and it had very positive vibes. Yelp let me down! I don't understand why people have left more than 2 stars?! Restaurant is very nice exterior and interior, besides that there was nothing good about this place. Got sat down right away 1pm on a Sunday, took about 10 mins to order and another 40 mins to get our food, which only half came out, 5 mins later the remaining food came out. Ordered 2 meats, which was disgusting chunks of pork in juice? Had too much fat. The ribs were drier than the Sahara desert, tasted like they were covered in paprika then lathered in bbq sauce and forgotten in the oven. Cole slaw was old, wilted and swimming in its gross juices. This is the worst bbq food I have ever had. We ordered: 2 meat plates, half order of ribs and a pulled pork sandwich, 4 waters for $130. You get a lot of sides, everything in its container to make it look like more food and very little meat. Service also not good, never updated us on our food and no water refills. When we got home, we realized that the meat was not pulled pork; it was tough, larger cuts... more like brisket meat and leftover parts of ribs with cartilage. I was able to visit this place right before the Journey Revisited concert they had right outside their restaurant a couple of weeks ago. They were really busy and we were lucky to get a seat in the bar. We were greeted by Clarissa who was really friendly and quite busy with all the crowd. My friend and I both ordered the prime rib dinner. It arrived faster than I thought it would. It was prepared the way I asked, medium rare, and I had the chili and salad as the sides. The chili was good, not too spicy. The salad was large and came out before the steak which I appreciated. The prime rib had a bbq, char taste which I enjoyed. I just wish the bread which came with it was not two, little tiny rounds of bread but decent sized slices. Needless to say, I came back with my husband four days later and tried their brisket cheeseburger. Wow! That was delicious! The mix of meat inside the bun made it juicy and very tasty! Clarissa was our waitress again and was so nice and attentive with her service. We'll be back to try other plates! read more
