We stopped at the Branding Iron for the shrimp tacos. We didn't know the restaurant is just three weeks new. From the outside, it looks very establish. Of course it was a restaurant before, but extensive remodeling later, the new Branding Iron Saloon opened. We had the afore-mentioned shrimp tacos and the Thai chicken salad. You get three tacos, with lightly battered and perfectly cooked crispy shrimp, topped with avocado slices, slaw, and a lightly spicy mayo. My W loved them and I thought they were quite tasty, too. The Thai salad is served on chopped Romain with thin carrot stripes, green onions, and lots of crispy won ton skin strips. Chicken was sliced thin and perfectly grilled. Dressing is sweet and SPICY! My mouth is still hot as I write this. I forgot to order the dressing on the side, and it was over dressed for my taste. And I wished there was more lettuce, mostly to fill me up. There were plenty of other toppings. Service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere with the country music in the back ground is nice. They have a nice bar area with some big TV screens. We'd eat here again, next time we are in Murphys.

Our waitress was perfect. Dark brown hair, black shirt and black pants and a tattoo on her neck I couldn't read. Placed us at a booth by the window. Light and not too loud. We ordered the Fried Green Beans, French Onion Soup, and Crab Salad Sandwiches. The aioli sauce with the green beans was solid. Little kick in the aioli. The French onion soup was as expected...good. The crab sandwich was delicious. I love mayo! The crab salad had celery. I love the crackle. The avocado and Swiss were a good addition. The restaurant is located down by Vida Moda which is a really good winery to taste at. So in my opinion a great place to park too!

Came to check out this cute town. We yelped a few restaurants and came upon Branding Iron. We decided to try it out based on the reviews. Service was fine. Good came out pretty quick. We ordered the gravy fries, chili and french onion. We were looking forward to the fries based on the description. Unfortunately they were just ok. The french onion soup was fine but very salty (typically my fav soup but it was too salty to finish). The chili was super spicy and ok. We left pretty disappointed with your lunch.

Recommend making a reservation. This is a traditional steak & burger spot. Don't come for a culinary masterpiece, but rather a good solid meal. Full bar with some creative twists on classic cocktails. Chicken sandwich gave upgraded chick fil a vibes - pickles and all. Branded bun was a fun touch. Pork chop was cooked perfectly. Peppercorn sauce/gravy that they cover it in was so good. Twice baked potato was a wonderful side. Do not recommend the crème brûlée. Custard had an off taste and the top was not caramelized, it was straight burnt.

We didn't have reservations but we got seated right away near bar area. They have outdoor seating too. Staff (our bar tender was also our waiter) was extremely attentive and friendly. We got our drinks and food pretty quickly too. We ordered the ribeye steak and pork chop with loaded baked potatoes. Dinner entree came with a side salad also. Omg the whiskey pepper sauce on my chop was excellent- lots of flavors. It is totally casual setting but I dressed up for my birthday dinner. Parking is limited so like other restaurants in downtown Murphys, you will have to walk a few blocks to get there.

Delicious! Filet Mignon and Lobster Tail, Ribeye Steak with Loaded Baked Potato perfectly cooked, perfect seasoning and nice presentation. Make sure to order the Clam Chowder (chef's kiss). Excellent service provided by Dakota! We'll be back!!!

Wow! Everything was delicious! We had filets with loaded baked potato, garlic mash and the whisky peppercorn sauce. The salad and french onion soup to start. The Saloon Fire Margarita was delicious too! Can't wait to go back! Everyone was so nice there!

We really enjoyed our first lunch at the Branding Iron. We ordered the fried green beans, fish tacos and the Kobe Hamburger with jalapeños and habanero jack cheese. Everything was delicious and the burger was huge! The fish tacos were generous also. We also tried the saloon fire margarita and that was very tasty. The service was very attentive and the food came out at a very nice pace.

My sad side salad if you even can call it a side salad

Went there with 2 of my other friends and we all ordered a rib eye steak, 2 bone in and one without. The side salad that came with the meal was so small it was laughable a few pieces of lettuce and some tomatoes and croutonsThe twice baked potato was also very small, it was like the potato was cut into a quarter instead of A half. The one bone in ribeye had so much fat we had to send it back and the other ribeye was over cooked. All three of us asked for medium rare. Also my dirty martini was like a half of A martini and was not asked weather I preferred gin or vodka. My steak was the only decent one. Overall the service was good but left disappointed. I will go back to try the pork chop as that seems to be the way to go and the French dip sandwich.

The food here is awesome as are the owners and staff. We were big fans when the family had Drifters and Baldis, and their new Branding Iron Saloon & Steakhouse was well worth our drive. They have a wide arrangement of food, bbq, steaks, and a great bar. No pun intended as it's thanksgiving week, we're thankful to see their restaurant in Murphys

Don't waste your money at this restaurant. The owners are rude. The stuff on the menu are overpriced. I would not give them my business.

Party of 4: Sunday @ 19:00p - No reservation required…read more We walked in just about an hour prior to closing. My eye caught two words on the menu "Ribeye Steak" which did not disappoint at all. Great selections offered- we tried sriracha corn fritters as well as bruschetta. This place is definitely worth checking out!

Then, came a long wait for a server to come. Once they did, after tables who had been seated after us, they offered us water that also took a long time. One of our servers was so kind, I didn't catch her name, but she brought our water and took our orders very efficiently, but was friendly. We ordered the fried cauliflower and alchemy burgers. Once the cauliflower came, our waiter told us that a cook had walked out mid-dinner rush had left them low on production. This didn't really explain the wait for service but we understood. I didn't get photos of the burgers when they came, because our table was pretty hungry after the long wait! The presentation of the food was ok but the food itself was pretty delicious. The fries were very flavorful and the burgers were cooked a perfect medium rare. We also got a butter pecan sundae that was very large, but good. If the food and that one waiter had not been so good, I would probably take more stars. If you are going to come here, I recommend having a lot of time and patience. 5 stars for the food, 2 stars for the service. Knowing this, I would be tentative to come back if we got the same experience in terms of service.
