Miner's Lounge

Visited for the first time in August and Wow, what a great lounge. The service, friendliness and cocktail knowledge was a 10/10. As I walked down the stairs from the street and opened the door, I knew I would love this place as the atmosphere was as welcoming as the two bartenders working that day. We noticed a bottle of Pisco, a Peruvian liquor, among the bottles on a lower shelf and asked for a Pisco Sour. Roger crafted the perfect drink with skills equal to the world's best bartenders. If you're in Angle's Camp or passing by, make sure you stop by, you won't regret it.

June2025- **Under new Creative Inspiring Management** They are bringing old fashion drinks back to the fore front. Classic cocktails with a new twist. These two gentlemen are going to do great here Very clean, great space. Lots of sitting options, awesome fireplace. They even have the old arcade game of packman, frogger and donkey Kong We came about 30 minutes prior to closing but this didn't stop their hospitality. Explaining their new drinks and visions.

Thank you Travis for my delicious expresso martini! Great way to start 2026. We also had the yummy lumpia which hit the spot.

Amazing food and drinks. My friend and I had the Miner's Burger and Mc n cheese with bacon jam. It was way better than I expected. Bartender is a craftsman, and made yummy bourbon drinks with recommendations on what whiskey to try. Angel's Sour was the best whiskey sour I'd ever had and I am picky. Fun, chill crowd, shuffle board and a quiet couch spot too. Check out Miner's Lounge, it will not disappoint!!

My Bo and I visited there on a whim and were so pleased! The owner happily greeted us and answered all our questions. The atmosphere and vibe were so chill. My boyfriend ordered a drink, called the bees knees, and then order a second because he liked it so much. I told the owner to surprise me with a random drink and he did and I ended up ordering a second one as well. The food, don't get me started on how good that was. Everything was so fresh and made to order. I'm not sure what we were expecting, but we were highly impressed throughout the evening. If we lived closer, that would definitely be our go to the spot. I wish I had a better picture of my drink,

Found this place on a whim, we were passing through and thankfully the bartender at the end of Main St recommended Miner's Lounge. To say that the food was delicious is an understatement. We had the special- bulgogi bahn mi, beef & chicken skewers and the lumpia. Let me tell you, we have gone to numerous Vietnamese and Filipino cuisine restaurants throughout our explorations in the past but this place had the literal hands down BEST food we have had in a very long time. When we ordered the food and the kind bartender recommended the food, we were honestly not expecting much-- it's food at a bar, generally from our own experiences we have very rarely found good food! I don't think many would expect that. I wanted to so badly to inquire for the chefs name and even meet the mastermind behind the masterpieces we ordered. To the chef and or cook(s), I applaud your work and creativity. To the owner/ designer of this establishment, you've struck gold with your staff and design of this establishment. The ambiance is incredible, comfortable and somehow classy and fun. Great drink selections as well! We will be back for more! Thank you!

Great drinks that kept us warm and extremely friendly staff! Not many spots open in town but we walked in and got an amazing bowl of mac and cheese that was hot and made with fresh ingredients, and the drinks were exactly what we needed as we were looking for some nice spiked coffee and hot cocoa! I also loved all the seating options too many spots to go and sit creating a nice environment for anyone!

Recently played 3 rounds here this past weekend, and had an absolute blast. My parents have a house…read moreon the course, so it's been a course we've gotten to play a ton, and it's a good challenge for all skill levels. They are currently going through another ownership change, but from what the pro shop guys have said, it's all good things coming. The greens have some crabgrass issues, but other than that they are rolling pretty good. The greenside bunkers have gotten much better over the past few months, but the fairway ones still need some work. Since the new ownership change, the tee time pricing is now dynamic. We called to make a reservation instead of booking online, and that was a mistake. Definitely check online for the best price as most of the prices were cheaper than what we ended up paying. Twilight starts at 1pm, and honestly $75 with a cart is a solid deal. 2/3 rounds I played this past weekend were under 4 hours. 4th of July the course was empty and made for a very enjoyable round. The one area the course as a whole can improve on is the food at the clubhouse. Not sure if there's been change, but the food has been real bland the last few times. It's pricey as well, which makes us want to pack a lunch instead of buying it on the course. Lynette the bartender is the best though! Overall, excited to see how the new ownership improves the course over the next few months and beyond and can't wait to be back up to play again. This course is truly a hidden gem that's not too far from the Bay Area

We thoroughly enjoyed the layout and our time there. I want to come back in a year and see the results of the restoration of the course. Our major concern was the dead spots on the greens -- in a year they should have the greens in prime condition!

Food was pretty good, service slow, ambiance nice. This…read morerestaurant used to be the most classy upscale restaurant in the area. It's located in a casino but well insulated away from the smoke and clamor of the gambling floor. There are pasta items and fresh vegetables for the vegetarians. Prices are higher than the quality. Staff are nice, possibly over stretched to provide attentive service. Food downstairs is at least as good and good value. Choices are not great in Tuolumne County. Maybe go to Murphys if you are serious about getting great food and good wine in a darling gold country town.

Not anymore. The CALAMARI ($22) appetizer was rubbery and cold; we only ate half. The sauce was very tasty but not plentiful. The PORK FRITES ($42) was extremely fatty and once again there was hardly any sauce. The TUSCAN CHICKEN ($38) was a thinly sliced piece of non-marinated, dry chicken with absolutely no extra sauce - just dry chicken. The Pappardelle pasta was stuck together like glue and again no extra sauce. I won't even go into the other entrees and deserts we had. Suffice to say the prices do not reflect the quality of food. They need to get a new cook and rethink their menu. Until then we will never go back nor will we recommend it to anyone. Shame on the management for ruining a once upscale restaurant.
