    Roast beef sandwich

Tired of all the wine-drinking and craving some beer? This place is for you!! They have a nice selection of local beer, and staff who knows about the beer, so it was a good tasting experience. They have a larger yard outside, where you can take your beer and just sit and chill, and even listen to some live music playing. Really chill vibe. Food is mostly mediocre sandwiches. The bread breaks apart. So hopefully you're here to enjoy some beer in the backyard.

Came after caving since it was on the way and you cant help but stop at Murphy main street and walk around. We noticed large crowds here before and saw a spacious and quaint outdoor seating area with people enjoying beer and snacks. They feature California beers on tap and I got a glass of Pliny the Elder from Russian River, hoping it would bring back memories of how good Pliny the Younger was. The Pokey: Bacon Pastrami and Cheddar Melt with Pickles, Chipotle Thousand Island, Mayo, Red Onions, and Lettuce on Rye. Their sandwiches had a nice home-made feel to them and were a perfect size for us and not too filling. They are very basic though and served room temperature so definitely feels like something you can make yourself. Beer Dip: Served with cucumbers, mini pretzels, and house seasoned pretzels. Tasted like sour cream and onions with a touch of beer and we should have asked for more cucumbers instead of pretzels because we liked that combo way more. Off the shelf pretzels with a dip that was OK.

We had lunch here to kick off our wine tasting day. My wife ordered a peach cider, and I tried the Churro beer (cinnamon and vanilla) -- both were very good. For sandwiches, I had the Cancer Strong 4.0, and my wife chose The Park. Both had a good portion of meat and were very tasty. My only complaint was the ciabatta bread on mine -- it was too thick and not soft, so I ended up taking the top half off, and eating it open-faced. Next time, I'd choose a different bread. We also appreciated the side option choices. I had the Bacon Broccoli salad, and my wife had a green salad; both were very good. Overall, a great lunch spot -- we'd definitely recommend it and would happily return.

Stopped in over the hot weekend to grab a drink and a bite to eat. Customer service was excellent, they helped us decide on a beer based on preferences and some non-alcoholic options. The menu for food is small but still a great selection! We agreed on a wrap and it was fresh and tasty. The outdoor space is beautiful. Definitely stop in during your next visit to Murphys.

Nice selection of beers and a handful of local wines both white and red. Friendly and fast service

The food was limited (especially for kids). The beer is good however, if you're not a beer drinking (yet your partner is) you might get thirsty. Very limited other drinks. The outside seating area was probably the best part. Plenty seating with live music. I wish I could have brought a bottle of wine (it was that type of vibe). The server was ok, they just placed my order - not very engaging

Service and drinks went well. Great place to sit in air conditioning on a hot day in Murphy's to relax.

Entrance is on the left side of the building

Stopped in this area for a break from suburban concrete jungle. We loved stopping over at the Pourhouse for beers. There are tap beers and a wide selection of bottle beers as well as a few nonalcoholic drinks. The staff are nice! It is a comfortable spot: bar, small sitting room with a fire place, another larger room, and large patio area for summer hang out. Children welcomed. The Pourhouse entry is on left side of the building. This is one of our regular stops in the area.

A super cute spot to stop for food, drinks, snacks, and just hang out outside with friends/family. I loved how much outdoor seating there was and it had great vibes for outdoor dining with lots of dogs outside and kids running around. Food was decent, a little pricey for a sandwich though. I think it was like $16 which isn't bad but also not great. Service was a little slow with getting food for the whole table but overall no complaints as we had a larger party. TLDR; great spot to stop for some food and drinks, outdoor seating & fire heater is the move!

Mt. Reba with broccoli salad. Pastrami sandwich done right. This will be my new "go to" when I am hungry in Murphy's.

The Mt. Reba sandwich paired with an oatmeal stout is perfection to me. The sandwich is piled with meat! I have been searching for a good pastrami sandwich in Murphy's for the past few years after the food went downhill at another location. We will be back!

Always friendly service even when they're packed! Cold, rainy day, was in town for the weekend, had to make a stop at Murphys Pourhouse. My family and I just like the welcoming ambiance, feels like you're in someone's home. We haven't tried the food, but most people around us were eating, and looked good. My husband and I drink wine, but this is definitely the place to get a good beer. If you're in Murphys, I recommend swinging by.

We had a great visit. Then my kids made us stop again. The food is awesome, the beers are amazing, and the service & knowledge of the staff was friendly and attentive. This place feels like home. I liked the family friendly atmosphere and the wide selection of beers/ciders on tap. Only thing that could make it better would be some desserts.

These are their "seasoned pretzels". Essentially a bunch of pretzels poured from a bag with some dip. For $15.

Came for the burger :)…read more My husband and I live in the East Bay and wanted to go on a lil drive. We decided on Murphy's for the Watering Hole burger which did not disappoint. We ordered 2 Double Cheese Burgers, the Broccoli Bacon Ranch Salad and an order of French Fries that included a side of ranch. All of what we ordered was delicious. The burgers come with double patties and are grilled along with the onions, the bun lightly toasted, soft and sweet and included a smear of 1,000 dressing. The burgers have 2 different types of cheese, fresh crispy shredded lettuce, pickles and sliced ripe tomato. It is the perfect combination and proportions of all ingredients. The Broccoli Bacon Ranch salad was not like anything I have had before and was a nice surprise to our taste buds. The salad included fresh bell peppers both yellow and red. It also had pickled onions, sunflower seeds, bacon and blue cheese that was all tossed together with ranch dressing which made it very convenient and easy to eat. Last but not least, the French Fries. They included a nice seasoning on the outside for a crispy texture and a creamy inside which I love. I liked the fact that they serve the fries with homemsde ranch and I didnt even have to ask for it...it's the little things for me. We sat inside to dine, I enjoyed seeing what others were eating, of course lots of burgers but also ribs, pasta, chicken sandwiches, salads and even cheese cake for dessert. I like that the menu offered a variety of options and brought great value for the quality and care that you can taste in every bite! I did not notice any issues with service as I saw other reviews reported. I would say that the inside, although cozy was a bit loud while others socialize. I think it was simply the high ceilings that carry the noise. The outside seating area is another option and is very nice as it's next to a stream which we would have chosen if it hadn't been 57° outside that day.

The 4 adults and 3 kids seated outside with me ordered right before me but were served within 10 to 15 minutes. The server was pleasant and attentive to them. They were basically done eating and another server literally tossed my cold tacos onto table. He was really sweaty and abrupt. The tortillas were stone cold and looked like they must have been cooked at some point because they had brown char marks on them . The chicken was cold and dry cut into cubes with some reddish powder so they may have been moist at some point. There was some white sauce drizzled on them that looked like it had just been applied since it had not soaked in at all. The $5 guacamole was a table spoon at most. The salsa even less. The handful of chips were generic and stale tasting. I asked him if I could get some water since I drank my beer already since I had been there over 40 minutes. He dismissed me abruptly and pointed at sign on table to order online. He left . I was in shock. I was so excited to stop here on way home to San Francisco. The tacos were dreadful.
