It was good!! My family has been telling me about this BBQ food joint forever and I always drive right past going to work or down the hill and what not so it was nice to see the options of food!! We ended up getting some of their brisket my cousin SWEARS on with the meat being tender and juicy as hell!! As well as sharing some ribs!! The thickness of meat on the bone is superb!!! Service was the best and they were the sweetest to us! It was a hot day so it was nice to get our food quick and get in the shade, I noticed some yelpers saying they don't have outdoor dining here but we were able to find some chairs in the shade just fine and enjoy! Not to mention it's right in front of a gas station so you're able to get whatever drink/soda you might want with it!! Ambiance is chill! Hot! (Summer could have something to do with that) but an all around wonderful experience with a view when you get your food, and a seat!!! Definitely stop by here when you can!! It is well worth it if you love BBQ!! Amazing!!!

100% the best bbq place that is close to home! Love thier brisket and ribs. Only open from Thursday - Sunday!

1/2 lb Brisket with a bonus burnt end! Again, dipping sauce is good!

First off YES it's inside the gas station mart! It's right off the freeway. All the food was 5 out of 5! The sauce made it even tastier. We arrived shortly after they opened and food was ready and didn't take long to serve. This is a worthwhile stop! If you're hungry, don't pass it up!

The food is amazing. It's the only good bbq place in the area. It takes a little bit to get your order but it's worth it.

Stopped here on my way to Yosemite and waited ~30 min for it to open just so I could try it. NOT WORTH IT! Burger was not memorable. Family members that got the smash burger said it tasted chemically... like cleaning chemicals. Disgusting. The only good thing was the truffle fries with the garlic aioli. The first couple bites of aioli were really good, but then it just got too mayonnaise-y. And, overall, they were no better than any other truffle fries that I've had. Mac & cheese was not good at all. The penne noodles were chewy, like they had been frozen. Cheese sauce didn't taste good. It was all on the pricier side as well, especially for what you get. Service was slow. I asked for extra containers so that we could share the Mac and cheese. The worker hesitated to respond, seemed like they wanted to say no, but then reluctantly gave me two cups/bowls. Why are they sooo stingy here?? Also, no free water cups?! They make you pay for water. Glad I brought my own water.

They didnt have a printed kids menu but he helped my kids choose their food. We got ourselves some food and drinks as well. Everything came out fairly quickly. 1. The fancy fondue was very yummy. It came with toasted sourdough bread. 2. Garlic bread was also good. We dipped that into the fondue once we were done with the sourdough. It enhanced the taste further. 3. Kids loved the pepperoni pizza and fish & chips. 4. Our server also accommodated our request for a half and half garlic chicken pizza with no meat on one side. The pizza came out great. We didnt even leave the edges 5. For drinks we got the old fashioned and birthday cake which were both great. Will definitely be back here if in the area.

Their happy hour is DAILY from 14:00-16:00. The restaurant was pretty busy on a Sunday, but we didn't have to wait long for a table. Our server was attentive and friendly. For our cocktails, my friend went with the Huckleberry lemonade, while I went with the pomegranate whiskey sour. She thoroughly enjoyed her cocktail, and so did I. At that price point, I didn't expect much, but it was a solid cocktail, although not as strong as what I'd normally get elsewhere. The clam chowder sounded really good, and I couldn't help myself, so I ordered it. My friend is not a fan of seafood, so the chowder was all for me. The crostini was very nicely toasted and I loved dipping it into the chowder. I was also pleasantly surprised by the flavor and quality of the clam chowder. It was packed with a ton of clams, and was perfectly hearty without being heavy. We opted to share the fallen apple pizza, which was the perfect choice. The dough was pillowy and light, and the toppings delicious. I would have liked more apple slices, as it didn't seem like they were very prominent, and for the balsamic drizzle to be more uniform, but overall it was a solid pizza. I took leftover pizza home, and my husband enjoyed it for dinner. We heated it up in the air fryer and that was the way to go. While it was a little noisy in the restaurant, mainly due to a large group seated next to us, we still had a good experience, and the booth seating was comfy. I would love to bring my husband back to try more happy hour menu items next time we visit Sonora! The price point is seriously hard to beat, and Emberz is a solid spot for hanging out and having a good time.

There is an upstairs area that has views of Sonora, but also overlooks the outdoor area which is great for people watching. The Armory is family and dog friendly and it was great to see families and their fur babies enjoying the relaxing atmosphere. The menu has great appetizers to share, salads and bowls, tacos, sandwiches, and satisfying pastas + a delicious short rib plate. The drink menu is extensive - they have an impressive variety of barrel-aged bourbons, Irish whiskeys, scotch, rye, tequila, and mezcal and quite the selection of beers on tap, in bottles, and in cans. The wine list will have something for everyone. And the cocktails all looked amazing! We had the smoked pork nachos, ahi poke bowl, and the Rodeo Burger. Everything was tasty and came out quickly. The Armory is a must try!

I did not try it when they first opened as the demand at the new restaurant was always lines and waits. However this has quickly become one of our favorite places. They have all you can eat at dinner time for roughly $20/person. For lunch you get a one time go, rice, pot stickers (soup for dine in) and a drink for the same amount. The staff is super attentive; they quickly find out if you will be dining in or taking it to go so they can set you up a table. The produce is very fresh and they are constantly filling up the self service bar.
