This is a great brunch/lunch place in White Center and I'm so happy to have found it. I skimmed the reviews real quick and didn't realize it was hispanic-inspired. It is not our favorite cuisine, but my god, it has changed my mind! Husband had the chorizo hash on the brunch list. He ate it all (very surprising). The meat was not too spicy and the spices used are perfect. I got the BLTP which is a BLT with Panela cheese, which texturally reminds me of feta. The taste is not strong, but I like it in the sandwich. The aoili for the fries (paid extra as a side) and in the sandwich were delicious! love love love. The price is so good for the quality. Three of us enjoyed a great Sunday brunch. Two us were first-timers, one had eaten there before. We ordered Spinach and Mushroom Scramble, Quinoa Hash, and Migas Can Jamon, all of which were delicious. Portion sizes were not huge, but they were large enough to be filling. The potatoes with the Scramble were some of the best potatoes I have eaten; small fried cubes, perfectly cooked, crisp on the outside, hot and soft on the inside, just the right amount of salt. Not crowded (it was close to closing time), and a short wait time for the food to come to the table. Service was friendly and cheerful. A thoroughly enjoyable experience. We will return. read more

We had brunch here for the first time today and were very impressed! We ordered the chilaquiles and the migas, both were delicious but the chilaquiles were our favorite. The poblano sauce was creamy, had great flavor, and wasn't overly spicy. The tortillas were super crispy and the eggs were perfectly cooked. The migas had a nice balance of savory/salty from the ham and sweetness from the caramelized onions. Because of COVID we had to order takeout but the execution was excellent!! I'm so glad this cafe is right in my neighborhood. A great option for homestyle meals. I've had a few things from here and haven't been disappointed one bit. They have a good variety of menu options that can please people with different tastes. I had family visiting last week and they walked over for an early lunch. They could not stop talking about what they had: -the corn chowder (not sure exactly what this one is called- the soups are not explicitly listed on the menu) -the tuna sandwhich -the steak salad They have good brunch options as well! My boyfriend loves the French toast. This is a small cafe, but feels open and clean inside. I've never had to wait for seating and always received quick service. The same lady has been working as the server every time I've visited. She's welcoming and attentive, and I've been pleased with the service every time. The cafe is in the Greenbridge neighborhood, which has decent street parking around the restaurant. Stop by if you're in the area and looking for a good meal! read more

I've been to Greenbridge Cafe *multiple* times and each time it has been a great experience. Very yummy and affordable, excellent service (friendly and fast) and the ambiance is pleasant. If it's sunny, I recommend sitting outside! First, if you are there before 11am, I highly recommend the pork chorizo breakfast burrito! It's soooo yummy. Moist and served with a drizzle of runny beans! I want to make eating one of these a week as a routine. Make sure to ALWAYS try their soups, they are excellent and comforting. Their soups change everyday, they make two kinds. I've had quite a few of them: tomato bisque, roasted tomato, mushroom, artichoke parmigiano, chicken veggie, and creamy roasted pepper. The servers let you have a taste to help you decide. Make sure to try the pulled pork sandwich. The meat is moist and tender, it's smothered on a creamy roasted pepper sauce and topped with coleslaw. I looove this messy sandwich. I also love the french dip, the meat is very juicy and roasted to perfection, the au jus is excellent, the horseradish mixture has the right kick to it. The chicken sandwich and chicken salad are great too, cooked, cut and plated nicely! And I agree with the previous reviewer about the side fries being excellent! This people know what they are doing! Oh, I've also had creme brulee and warm apple pie with ice cream. I've only seen the apple pie two times, I think their dessert selection changes too (unless they make only a couple times a week). I often get the benedict with the poblano sauce for brunch, but today I came in for lunch and tried the butternut squash tacos with house salad. Just perfect. The tacos are fried crispy and filled with creamy squash, goat cheese, spinach and caramelized onions. Delicious. Alma, the friendly owner, offered fresh ground pepper on my salad. We went on a Saturday at 10am and just beat the small crowd of families. Simple interior, clean and tasteful. Chef/owner Blanca was also our friendly server, taking care of the front of the house while also keeping an eye on the kitchen. We both ordered the eggs Benedict; I had it with ham, and my friend had it with chorizo. While the ham was delicious, I wanted just a wee bit more of it. My friend ordered her eggs runny and they came soft, gooey, but not very runny. Very small concerns, as the food was delicious (the chorizo was incredibly flavorful). The roasted poblano sauce really made it special, as did the polenta cakes ($2 extra, and worth it). The potatoes were crispy on the outside, fluffy inside and not at all greasy. Even the coffee was perfect. We're looking forward to going back for more and can't wait to try lunch, too. read more

I had the chilaquiles which were good, but not as good as the ones at Kikey's Cafe in Burien (also $5 less expensive). My husband had the Grits with crispy chicken which was also really good. Service was friendly and attentive, vax cards where checked. What prevents me from a higher rating is we felt the prices were excessive for what you got. Our tab was $100 for 4 people, and only two of us had OJ. Considering the comparable options in the area, we would not come back because of what we felt were excessive for what one received. read more

Not exactly on the main drag (16th Ave SW) of White Center, but definitely worth the hop and skip over. The brunch offerings are unique and delicious. Even the plating of the food is tasteful. The brunch is like modern Mexican-American fare with some Northwest flair. Their dessert case also looks promising with classics like lemon bars, carrot cake, and magic bars.
