I love the OPI manicures...I have never had a nail chip or break. The removal process is quick (the wrap foils around your nails) and I'm in and out within an hour... I usually get pedicures there too, since I am there getting a mani, but there pedicures aren't great... read more

Not great. The paint job itself was nice. However, I came in with 2 people, and they sat us completely separately even though there was space to keep us next to one another. The mani went quick BUT once I was in the chair for my pedicure, I waited for 35 minutes before anyone even started. Then I also looked at my nails and you could see that they weren't fully filed. Decent salon but bad costumer service and hidden up charges. Before coming I asked if Id have to wait and they said no and I ended up having to wait 20+min when I arrived . They also took off my gel polish and charged me ten dollars without telling me prior or asking if that was fine. Had I known I would have done it myself. This was my go to nail salon this summer. I came home from school for the holidays and I was upset with the now horrible customer service and actual service was. The receptionist does not communicate well, not telling you how long the wait is and also not keeping track of what customers are next. My gel manicure came out terrible. Extremely disappointed considering I was a loyal customer. I had to point out four nails that had to be completely re done. I was going to get my eyebrows waxed but with the terrible customer service, horrible nail service, they convinced me not too. This was my first time at Green Tea Nails and I don't intend to ever go back. The prices were high, the place was noisy and crowed, AND two on my acrylic nails already broke (only 2 days later). They popped right off as if they weren't properly put on in the first place. Huge waste of time and money. Very disappointed. read more

I went here because my regular salon was closed, but will now be switching!! I got a regular manicure and to my suprise, it lasted over a week before chipping!! Very poor customer service!!!! After reading other reviews I'm glad I didn't stay to get my gel manicure and pedicure. After I picked my color and sat in the chair to let my feet soak one of the employees was getting ready to start my pedicure. Since I am pregnant I wanted to use the bathroom before she started so I wouldn't have to get up during the pedicure. I took literally 2 minutes in the bathroom and when I came back the lady started doing someone else's pedicure. I said politely to lady I was back from the bathroom and she said to wait for the next available person. The lady at the front desk said 5 mins but she didn't even start to paint the customers feet she was working on. So obviously it would be more than 5 mins and they didn't value my time or me as a customer. Ive never been to a salon that ever did that before and I won't be back. read more

This is the type of place that you are definitely not getting what you are paying for, they are extremely over priced for gel nails and a pedicure to chip the next day. The gels on my nails completely just popped off. Another thing is that they talk bad about all the clients that walk through the door the lady stopped doing my pedicure because she was too focused on some woman complaining to the owner. They are not clean either I witnessed the same tools being used on multiple people and the spatula to take the exfoliate out she cleans with the dirty water from the foot bath and puts it back. Someone really needs to call corporate on this nail salon asap! read more

Terrible. Making an appointment means nothing so I don't bother. It is understandable that walking in without an appointment means you might have to wait BUT if you ask how long the wait is because you don't have a lot of time you always get the same untrue answer - just sit not long. Well today I sat through other people's manicures, including those who came in after me and the person I was with. Then when it got too late for a manicure I asked how long it would be for reflexology and was told fifteen more minutes. After spending an hour driving there, waiting, waiting some more and driving home I won't be going back. AND they charge you $2 for the plastic credit card they give you to be in their "loyalty" club. You get what you pay for... read more

The pedicurists and manicurists are great. Never got a bad gel manicure or pedicure. I never have to wait and they always have a smile on their faces when the greet you. Pleasant atmosphere where I am constantly wanting to doze off from being relaxed. read more

I feel the pedicure I recently had at Green Tea Nails was the best I've had in a long time. The woman I had was conscientious and made my toenails look really nice. They put a see through bag in the tub for each customer for sanitary reasons which I've never seen done at any other salon. The price ($22) is reasonably priced! I like this place, they give a good, but quick, mani and/or pedi at a reasonable price. I Just would prefer if they had at least one person who spoke better english, last time I was there I wound up with a different type of manicure than what i had wanted bcs there was a language barrier. I had the WORST pedicure in my life here today. I timed the girl.. From the time she filled the tub to the time she told me to get out of the chair was 11 MINUTES. Barely a scrub, little to no massage, and she filed my nails so roughly I actually was bleeding. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE. And then when I complained, the boy (who is in charge in assuming) Told me that he would give me 1/2 off next time.. I'm sorry but I will not be back for a next time. I love the warm wax that is used for the pedicures and I am a huge fan of the gel manicures. It is a convenient location, with great prices, and a ton of color choices. NEVER AGAIN! I visited this salon for the first time on Sunday (because no other salon is open Sundays and my schedule does not allow me to go any other day). I called in advance to ensure they could fit me it. When I walked it, no one acknowledged that I walked in and acted like they were confused why I was there to bother them for service. I clearly knew what I wanted: a UV gel pink and white french manicure. I paid $80!!! ...And gave a generous tip, and one day later, all of them are lifting and falling off! I have gotten UV gel in the past, and the lady did not apply them properly in layers like they're supposed to be applied. She also cut two fingers and drew blood...I questioned her about her application method but she completely ignored me. I am disputing the charge on my credit card. I have never received such terrible quality service. Do your nails a favor...Go to Evey's in Cranford instead. read more

Went here based on a friends recommendations, place is clean, expensive but I was willing to pay whatever as long as my nails were done right. It's So hard nowadays to find a place that does even a decent job. I went in for a gel color change and that was 30$$ for a color change!! No refill just swapping out the color lol. Anyways I had Ana and what a horrible job she did...my nails chipped the next day and broke. I kept asking her to fix things and she would just brush me off also she was clearly getting annoyed with me. She started talking to her coworker in her language, which to me is completely unprofessional and rude! So now I had to go to another salon so they could fix my nails. Which cost me way less and what a fantastic job they did!!! Plus it really annoys when I go somewhere and when it comes to money perfect English is spoken, but as soon as you have a concern all of a sudden she didn't speak a lick of English! Also I noticed a difference in treatment with new customers vs repeat customers. My advice to this place 1: your offering a service for money, so don't treat the customer like your doing them a favor, so stop getting annoyed, and being blatantly rude 2: clean the cuticles it's a simple part of the manicure and I'm pretty sure is included in the service 3: when someone is speaking to you, instead of brushing them off and just pretending you don't understand, just acknowledge them, I promise they will be less upset 4: treat your new customers like gold so they can become repeat customers. read more

On sept 11 I went in this establishment for a gel mani, regular pedicure and eyebrows. Now this review is based on 2 things 1. The services rendered and 2 their customer service. My pedicure was Subpar at best. The woman that did it barely cut my nails or massage my feet. The manicure was awful, she was the older Asian lady. She was so rough with my hands, didn't look where she was filing, kept filing my skin, my nails weren't buffed or shaped properly. Even after I expressed concern that I didn't like the way she filed them, she brushed me off and kept painting my nails and started speaking to her coworker in her language. When I go to pay the receptionist goes it's 62 dollars plus tip. I was paying with cash so I told her ok I have cash. I hand her 65 dollars she gives me the change and says to me "and tip!" kind of forcefully. So I then again say to her, I have cash. I then had my cash In hand to give ( I was planning on giving 4 each cause the service just wasn't what I was accustomed to) later when I'm all done with everything. So I then go in for eyebrows when I was done I sat on this little bench waiting for my friend who was getting her eyebrows done by the same older Asian lady. The receptionist comes towards me where I was sitting and asked " did you give a tip to the pedicure lady?" I replied, " not yet I'm waiting for my friend we are not done" she looks at me all crazy while the older Asian lady peeps her head out to yell at me "it's 20 percent tip here!!" Now this is when I get turned all the way off. She comes out the room and starts to yell saying you need to give a tip! It's 20% you did your feet, hands and eyebrows!!. now it took everything in me and the Good Lord to not go off. But instead I say to her, " I paid for my services, a tip is when a customer is satisfied with a service and want to express their gratitude. You're very unprofessional, you don't come to me and harass me for tips, you don't ask for tips". I will NEVER go to this place again. You don't yell at your customers, harass them especially in front of other patrons. You would have thought I was this degenerate running out of paying the bill! I instead just put my little dollars in my bag and left in utter disbelief. read more
