I absolutely love Bella wax when you can make an appointment and actually go. Bella is absolutely wonderful. The wax is still minimally painful. The receptionist is also very pleasant. Even if you need to cancel Bella is nice enough to provide refund. The reason Im giving three stars is because the hours now are really inconvenient. Unless you book a week or so in advance you won't get an appointment. Unsure if this is because spots fill up quickly or if nobody takes any of the afternoon or evening slots the shop decides to close early?? I dont know. But it's exhausting trying to get an appointment. The Vagaro app to make an appointment is also annoying along with paying a pre deposit. Unfortunately due to inconvenience I had to switch to EWC. Same price anyway. No pre deposit. More personal. More convenient late evening hours and open Sunday. read more

Bella has a point system with the Vigaro booking app. If you review her, the system gives you points to use towards free services. For every service you pay, you can review her. You have to have 10 points for a free service. When you pay at her salon, her receptionist will let you know if you have points. Needeless to say, I have had free Brazilians and free eyebrows every couple months. According to Bella, I have cheated her with free services. Excuse me? You use Vigaro for a reason to bring clients in. I review you as per your request and now I'm a cheat? I would have to have had paid for services to review her! This business owner thinks everyone is out to get her. It's sad! She's not stable. Her business is all over the place, this location, that location and she's lucky to have had a client like me for years sticking with her instability!!! NOTE: I have been a client since 2018. I went 2-3x a month and in these years ONLY received 9 free services. Let me mention whenever Bella has a new man, she closes her business and cancels days of appointments. She lies and says she's sick with no consideration to people who are dependent on her services. She did that to me 3x, I never got refunded because at the time you pay upfront and even still I remained a loyal client!!! FYI she changes her prices EVERY month with NO notice to her clients. She's also severely burned my privates and eyebrows when she's rushing and having a bad day. Keep your services! This is NOT how you run a business! read more

Bella's is fantastic. Isabella (the owner ) is quick , skilled and so sweet. I went for the first time today and I was immediately impressed by the Salons aesthetics. Be mindful that she's currently the sole waxer so if you're in a hurry just be mindful that she's by herself. Other than that she's worth every penny. I got a Groupon ($30) because it was my first time trying the place but I'll gladly pay the $60 (price for Brazilian). I have a low tolerance for pain and usually take a pain killer before my appointments but it wasn't needed today because I barely felt the pain because we were engaged in conversation the whole time. Today was my third time going to Bella and I got my brows tinted and they look fabulous. My first visit I had eyebrow shaping with tweezers. Since my first was amazing and her work definitely shows I booked my second appointment. On my second visit I had the lash lift with tint, armpits and Brazilian wax. I must emphasize there was little to no pain during the waxing. The wax she uses is not like the other places- there was no burning or skin irritation. I am so disappointed. I stopped by to have my eyebrows waxed and tinted. Unfortunately, I left this establishment with horrible bruising under my eyebrows. Unbeknownst to me, people who use acne medication should not get their face waxed if they have not stopped their treatments SIX MONTHS prior. I was not asked if I was taking medication, nor was I asked how long I had stopped taking my acne medication. There also weren't notating signs notating that policy anywhere on their website,yelp page, or brochures. Nevertheless, I remained calm and accepted the situation for what it was. The receptionist, as well as the woman who did my eyebrows, said that the owner "Bella" would call me to discuss the matter. When Bella finally called me, she first seemed to be apologetic and then started to get rude with me. She said "well there is nothing that you can do to me or my business" As horrible as my face looked... I had no intention of pursuing this any further. I just wanted my face to stop burning. I was basically blamed for Bella's carelessness. She should have posted her policy and her employees should have asked if/how long I was using or stopped using acne medication. I booked an appointment online, my first as the reviews were so great. I needed a Brazilian as am going on vacation to Mexico. I got a confirmation and when I showed up, somehow they booked me for 2 days after I'd requested. On a day I couldn't come. How did this happen? No idea, but since it was my first experience, don't think I'll come back. They were kind enough to refund the payment they asked for prior to the appointment. Not happy though because now I have to find another place for this before I leave with very little free time. I'm not one for getting waxed , and the first and last time I received a wax I wasn't pregnant , and I went to a place in Bloomfield. They had the wax and the strips , I used Groupon for a Brazilian wax, the girl did one strip ,the first strip to be exact and I screamed so loud my cousin in the other room , said she heard me . I immediately told the girl to stop , I was done . She asked me if I was sure because I already paid for it , I told her yes I was absolutely done, and I got dressed and walked out . This time my cousin talked me into again , but to get ready for birth because right now I'm 38 weeks. Bella was able to fit me in her schedule at the very last minute. The space is very cute, charming and Bella was just so welcoming. Upon meeting Bella, I felt like I have known her for years. The most amazing thing about this place is the ORGANIC BEESWAX (hard wax) used for waxing. I was blown away by how sensitive it was on my skin. I usually do sugaring but sugaring has NOTHING on this organic wax that Bella has here. It smells like honey. It goes on smooth and thick and is REALLY PAINLESS. It peels off easy. I was in shock at how comfortable this waxing experience was. Not once did I have to tense my body up, dreading pain. NOT ONCE. Bella made me feel so comfortable. She knows EXCELLENT customer service too and she gets every bit of hair with this wax. She never uses the same strip either. My experience here was amazing and I HIGHLY recommend this establishment for waxing. As Bella said "the body knows what's good for it" and this organic wax was definitely great for my lady parts.
