Was charged $40 for a acrylic soak off and basic clear polish which I did not think was that hard to complete. But they surprised me at this location. The manicure was completely rushed and incredibly messy. I have polish on the skin of my fingers as well as residue from the soak off on my palm. To top it off, when the lady finished with my nails the utensils she used for my manicure was rinsed under the sink faucet and immediately USED FOR ANOTHER WOMANS PEDICURE!!!!!!! Y'all know COVID AND MONKEY POX are crazy in this area so for the lady to not thoroughly clean her supplies is crazy and makes me wonder about the cleanliness of the establishment as a whole. read more

I previously left a 5 star review but docking a star because my last gel manicure left several of my fingers bleeding. The lady cut my cuticles down so short and I even told her I was bleeding, and would visibly jump and wince throughout. She said it's because I have too much skin on my nails. I was almost in tears when I left and when I was trying to wash dishes in the next days. Please be less aggressive and mindful of customers. Also, the gel drying station felt grimy and dirty, I'm not sure if it's been cleaned or wiped. I've had other positive experiences here but this one wasn't good. read more

Save your money and have a child do your nails. I've never left a bad review anywhere but after my 3rd poor experience here, it's time. The first time I came here, they hardly got the gel off my nails therefore my manicure came out lumpy and I had to take it off myself right away. The second time I got the powder gel dipped nails, there was polish all over my cuticles and she dipped them so all the colors were uneven. They peeled off/chipped in less than a week. Today I got a regular gel. The lady cut my cuticle. I asked for round shape 5x, until I finally gave up because she continued to make them square. I have polish on 6 of my cuticles. Theres no color on the tip of my left ring finger. When I complained while paying, the man did offer to fix them but I refused because I hd already been sitting there for over an hour and 15 minutes, while the lady stopped my manicure 3x to help other people. It only gets a second star because there's a large selection of colors. Just don't waste your time or money and go someplace else. read more

I really, really wanted to like this place. I'm desperate to find a good nail salon in the neighborhood and unfortunately, Friendly Nails II isn't it. I came for a simple mani + pedi, there was a short wait and the pedicure was fine. For some reason, I always seem to get the older lady who doesn't speak English. She did a good job with the pedicure but it was very frustrating when I couldn't communicate that I wanted my nails shaped round, not square. And that I'd grown them out to keep them long, not cut down. After painting my nails, she instructed me to put them in front of the fan. When I pulled them away, they were a mess. She couldn't see the issue- the top coat had wrinkled and bunched up and the polish was now uneven everywhere. She tried to fix it by putting more polish on top...which obviously just made it worse. The owner finally came over and while he saw the issue with some of the nails, I had the point out the pretty obvious issues on every one. The top coat was especially bunched up on my thumb nail and when I tried to explain that I didn't want it to look like that, he really asked me "what don't you want it to look like?". I'm still upset about this. I just wanted to treat myself to a nice manicure and instead I got a messy one and then berated when I asked for it to be fixed. The owner said that he would fix them and he did, but it was clear they were annoyed they had to address the issue at all. He then said it was my fault for putting my nails in front of the fan because the top coat used on my nails requires the light machine- but I was never told that? I told him that the lady told me to use the fans and he said oh she didn't know. I'm sorry but what??? The manicure looks fine now but it wasn't worth the money or feeling unwelcome. It was botched and then rushed. It would've been better if I had just done them myself. Might be an ok place to stop by if you're looking for a quick pedicure but I'm sure there's better places. The owner seemed very surprised when I still gave him a tip so that should speak for itself. read more

Not a very good clean up. I didn't want polish or gel so after I washed my hands, that was it. No hot towel no cream no nothing, and I was up charged $5 for almond shape. Not too bad a nail job but he wasn't very hospitable. I will try them again for my fill but if it's another crappy experience then I'm done with them. Came back for a full set and I'm very happy. I paid $40 for a solar set with coffin tips with just clear gel top coat. Awesome job, look forward to getting more done here. read more

Let's start with walk ins are not welcomed here. The place has a really strong smell of chemicals. It's a nail salon so I get that. But this location it's so strong that it hurts your throat, eyes and nose. If you come in without an appointment it's understandable to wait for little while. But I waited over an hour. No one asked what I was there for. Two woman came in during the wait no appointments and got sat before the three of us who were waiting. They offered no reasoning or even little fake excuse on why these people were line jumping. I expected just a little higher quality for the town and location. I used to go here all the time and they were good but recently I've been going and my nails come out uneven and different shapes when I ask for coffin. 2 of my nails fell off less than a week so I called them and they fixed and repainted my nails for $20. John (The guy who works there) told me I would be getting a full as well. The girl who did my nails said no. When I left I didn't see anything wrong. Absolutely love Danny and the rest of the staff. He does a great job and is a great business owner!! My best friend and I love going there and seeing our "nail friends"! I have had 5+ surgeries on my ankle and extensive damage in my leg and they take the time to massage me to make sure I feel better. When I first moved to the area, I came here a few times because of its convenience. However, I stopped going because even when I made appointments, I was never taken on time. My now-usual nail salon is closed on Sundays, so I called this place for a nail emergency. I asked to come around 11, and the man I spoke with suggested 11:30, which was fine. I arrived a bit early and was okay with waiting a little. However, at 11:45, there were 5 clients seated and only 4 employees. One client was sitting in a pedicure chair just waiting. I was told I would be taken back soon, but when an employee finished with one client, she went to another who was already sitting in a chair waiting. I make appointments to avoid waiting, and this was the last straw. I will not be returning. read more

I'm a bit disappointed. I got a pedicure, it was just okay, I feel like I could have done an equivalent job. My big toes had paint on the skin around the nail. I then sat down to get a gel manicure, when the girl was cleaning up my cuticles, she cut me, she then put an antiseptic on it without warning that it burned, I endured the pain, for some reason I felt bad for like it was her first day because 2 other people kept stepping in to check on her. So I didn't say anything, I requested black nail polish on 3 fingers and 2 chrome nails on each hand. She did the chrome nail polish last, the three black fingers looked great on both hands, she then started to rub in the chrome, after she rubbed the chrome in she put some kind of oil on my nails and then said go wash them, so I did. No clear coat on the chrome nail or anything. I thought since I hadn't had them done before that's maybe normal. I wash my hands. I tell her they look messy because the chrome, is stuck to the skin around the nail, I'm assured by 2 others nail techs that that's normal it'll wash off, I leave, looking like a third grader did my nails. The next day all of the chrome nails are cracked. For 3$ extra a nail, I went backed the following morning, The owner I think, sits me down, he files all the gel off my nails with a file machine. Then he reapplied the gel and the chrome. They came out okay but one of them he left a huge bump and an air bubble, however he did put a clear coat On the chrome nails. He also left my nails very messy, the chrome left around the skin. Anyway, I'm not going back a third time. Over all they were pretty nice but I'll probably never go back there, I spent 62$ + I gave the girl 15$ tip, an expensive mani/pedi. $25 pedicure and $ 37 for the gel manicure. At least I am really hoping it last the whole 2 weeks. read more

I went there yesterday for the first time, and what might be my last. First off, the place is nice and clean. A pretty comfortable environment. I started out by getting a pedicure. The man who did my pedicure seemed nice and while he was quick, he did a good job, no complaints there. THEN I got sent to a women who sits at the very first desk when you walk in to get my nails done. She asked me in the beginning if I would like them trimmed, I said "YES PLEASE, I WOULD LIKE TO TRIM THEM DOWN AND FILE THEM SQUARE". She proceeded to do my nails, rushed through it, and DID NOT TRIM OR FILE AS REQUESTED BY ME (THE PAYING CUSTOMER). When I brought it to her attention (right before she applied the gel color), she VERY QUICKLY filed them A LITTLE BIT (BUT NOT SQUARE AND RATHER CROOKED), and when I expressed how unhappy I was with her work, she got very angry WITH ME (does that make sense?) turned off her light, stopped doing my nails, yelled at me that "I have now made her angry" and I had to sit and wait for the other guy to come finish the work. Needless to say I am EXTREMLY UNHAPPY WITH MY NAILS AND WILL BE GOING SOMEWHERE ELSE ASAP TO GET THE DONE THE RIGHT WAY! Its really too bad the guy there, Danny (might be the owner, not sure) is really a very nice man and seems knowlegable and considerate. Too bad his employee is extremley rude and unprofessional!!!!! she does NOT CARE about the customer's wants or needs, she just wants to rush, do it HER WAY and take your money!!!
