A good option for a meal in the Southwest Terminal Orlando International Airport's Terminal A primarily serves Southwest Airlines flights. Travelers passing through have a variety of restaurants to choose from mostly takeout.. Some popular options include Chick-fil-A, Dunkin' Donuts, Firehouse Subs, and Chili's Too. For those looking for a healthier option, Green Leaf's beyond Great Salads is a great choice. My research shows they began offering healthier dining options in 1976, focusing on fresh, made-to-order salads, wraps, grilled panini, and specialty sandwiches. Today, the chain has over 35 locations across the United States, with two in Florida: one at Orlando International Airport and another at Sawgrass Mills in Sunrise. They specialize in fresh, made-to-order salads, wraps, grilled panini, and sandwiches. The restaurant allows customers to customize their meals with fresh ingredients, making it a great option for health-conscious travelers. Recently, I tried this option as most of the other choices had long lines. The store is located on the end of the take-out counters and so has more room for people ordering and picking up. Ordering was easy. The staff was friendly and the food was freshly made. My meal was reasonably priced for an airport. Overall, I think this is a solid option for a quick, enjoyable and fresh meal in Terminal A.

Customer service is quick but difficult bc their English isn't the best. The eatery seemed clean & organized. The veggies/ ingredients tasted fresh. The prices are high which is to be expected in the airport. Overall, good for having limited choices.

Tex Mex Burrito: one piece of avocado that I ate in one bite.

Service was terrible, but food tasted fresh. The Tex mex wrap was good (except the avocado, which was left as one piece, which I ate in one bite). However, the wrap tasted fresh and was tasty. Service was terrible. There was no wait to order, but The guy who took our orders was slow. He moved with no urgency and seemed over it. He started our sandwiches, but then went in the back, and came back out to start something else. We were waiting for a while, until another female asked if we'd been helped. We pointed at the sandwiches that had been started, and she seemed apologetic, and annoyed with the other guy. She put on gloves to finish our sandwiches, but then the guy told her he'd finish them. Which he finally did. It has been over 10 minute. Good food, bad service.

Romaine, quinoa, peppers, cukes, and chicken with 1/2 serving ancho cilantro dressing. HUGE and delicious

My favorite part about flying out of Orlando - a build your own salad bar with with at least a dozen dressings. Condiments are life, and dressings are ambrosia! You get a base (romaine, spinach, or spring mix) plus 4 toppings for about $12 + tax. Not bad for airport pricing and the salad is not only huge, but tossed in the dressing for you. They also do smoothies and wraps!! So check them out and skip the food court. Unless you are a chipotle fanatic. Like my husband.

Great deal for a great salad! I paid 9.35 for this big salad inside Orlando airport. It was so good! You pick spinach or romaine and choose four toppings and dressing. There were sixteen dressings to choose from and organized by low to high calorie. I chose chicken, chickpeas, spinach, mushrooms, and broccoli with a lite Ranch dressing and I ate every speck of it. I would totally go back every time I'm at this airport. So nice to have a healthy alternative like this in a food court.

Green Leaf's & Bananas is one of the healthier options for Gates 100-129. It is a combined food court with the Bananas, which focuses on smoothies and the Green Leaf's which is Salad, Wraps, and Grilled Paninis. My daughter and I opted for a clean meal before our flight to Phoenix and decided to stop by Green Leaf's. There was no line for the restaurant. After reviewing the menu, we had decided to order the following Kids Meal: Grilled Cheese, Water, and a Banana. Grilled Cuban: Ham, Turkey, Provolone Cheese, Pickles (No mustard or mayo) The meal is made fresh to order. It took approximately 10 minutes to make, which was no issue since our flight was delayed. My daughter really enjoyed her grilled cheese. It was grilled crispy and the portion size was pretty decent. Her Banana was scrumptious as well. My Cuban was very good. The ingredients were fresh. I would come back to Green Leaf's & Bananas again in the future, perhaps next time I'll try out one of their smoothies.

Greenleafs at the Orlando Airport is the health alternative to the other places in the food court area. It's hidden around the corner from Jersey Mike's and they have salads, paninis, wraps, and smoothies. The display has lots of healthy options and you can choose from pre-made items or customize your own. I ordered a wrap and chose my ingredients: Romaine, Cucumbers, Carrots, and Pico de Gallo (which wasn't fresh at 6am, but it's like getting 3 ingredients with one choice). The wrap was tasty but it was wrapped so poorly I couldn't pick it up and eat it without the dressing running all over my hands. Even with the paper, this thing was a mess. I should have just ordered a salad which would have been easier and less messy to eat, but I was looking for additional substance with the wheat wrap. I'm giving it 2 stars for the train-wreck of a meal I struggled to eat when I'm normally still asleep. I wish Chipotle would open earlier!

Very few options

Extremely sweet smoothies, I could not drink even half of it. Not sure why they have to add syrups. Also the attendant was speaking loud to the girl next door not acknowledging the customers. Don't waste your money!

Caprese sandwich

They served my soup then I had to wait for my sandwich. Waiting isn't an issue but the soup got cold in the mean time. Then, after waiting, the inside of the sandwich was cold. The flavor was ok but the fact that it was both cold and warm threw the whole thing off. The giant blob of cheese in the photo is cold.

Figured my chances were slim, but Tonya (or perhaps Tonia) the manager ensured that my dining dreams came true. She was very helpful, fitting us in at 8:30. The door to enter the restaurant isn't prominently labeled, so I always second guess if I have the right way. It's a classy feel inside with lighting that sets the mood, as well as cohesive fixtures and accents. Tablet menus? Yes. That's a thing here. Our server did a great job taking care of us. All our needs were met with finesse. As for the food, so delicious! I would normally go for the Lobster Mac & Cheese, which is to die for, but I like to switch things up. The Mahi Mahi Sandwich didn't disappoint. The regular mac & cheese that I had for my side is some of the best around town. The cocktails are flawless. My Mint Julep and Manhattan were perfectly crafted and 100% satisfying. This place is consistent and will not let you down. Looking forward to my next visit.

For the food, the best item on the bbq chicken platter was the creamed corn. There was a perfect crunch on top and the cream paired very well with the sweet corn. I believe it had jalapeños in it but there barely was any spice. The bbq chicken tasted just like you would imagine it and the fries weren't anything special. My girlfriend really enjoyed the lobster mac & cheese. Just like the creamed corn, my girlfriend complimented the crunch on top of the entree. We both liked the spinach dip and the chips were lightly seasoned well too. For the drinks, we got the baby blue cosmo and the espresso martini. The martini was good and the cosmo was pretty strong for it being a restaurant.

We ended up coming to Cask & Larder and we're glad we did. We were greeted and seated at a table under a fake tree with sunlight streaming in from overhead. It was actually quite lovely and a nice fake tree. My husband decided to order the "pick three" of side dishes: street corn, beef, salad, and roasted brussels sprouts. I chose to have the Nashville chicken sandwich with a side salad. And we both got unsweetened iced tea. Everything came out reasonably quickly, and our waitress stopped back often to check on us. The sandwich was actually a wonderful blend of flavors, combining Nashville, fried chicken, coleslaw, good pickles, & hot honey on a brioche bun. Although I don't normally eat the buns or bread on sandwiches, I decided to eat this as was intended. The flavors were very complementary and tasty! Besides salad was fresh with good greens and tomatoes, croutons, and a side of vinaigrette dressing My husband was amazed at the amount of food they put in front of him. Each item came in its own bowl and filled the bowl rather well. There were three 2 sized corn, cobs, freshly dipped in breadcrumbs and cheese, which were very tasty. The beet salad was a full bowl of delicious varying items, including fresh beets, which my husband loved. The brussels sprouts filled their whole entire bowl and recovered with bacon, bits, and a sweet glaze. For an airport restaurant, we were very pleasantly surprised and enjoyed our meal a lot!

Yes any glass is fine we are limited on time, then 5 more minutes for wine in a wine glass ? 37 minutes for wine and 10 more minutes for the wrap. Had to leave before finishing because our flight was boarding. Asked up front is a wrap quick, we have an hour. Over $65 for 2 glasses of wine and a wrap that was dry and the requested salad dressing not served. That's why the best of airports award you received was so long ago. Because you wouldn't be anywhere in the hunt now. Silverware was plastic wrap ti go style. Not good for $20+ glasses of wine. Any fast food from the food court would've bear this food quality and cost. One star for the food/drink and overall experience, additional star because the server was friendly and not his fault they can't wash dishes timely and can't read salad dressing requests. I wouldn't recommend and won't return when I'm going thru MCO. Bad experience. 5/15/26 7:00PM
