    Hair in rhe Wonton Soup

Terrible food, chicken on garlic sauce taste as halal food, plus the soup comes with a hair including, and hair not looks as the head hair

The great wall nice small spot that packs a big punch. Some of the best Chinese food in queens, there food is made fresh and they give you big portions. I ordered the lunch special today and got general tso chicken and chicken fried rice the taste was so fresh .and the size of the chicken inside the rice was nice .they give you nice pieces.of white meat chicken. And they are not cheap with there sauces like there duck sauce and soy sauce and hot mustard. The sauces are out for the customers use.they are unlimited I also ordered thai chili wings lunch special with chicken fried rice and vegetables. Really great taste so fresh. You can taste the chili on the wings very tasty and spicy you can taste the spiciness In the chicken. I have been to the great wall a few times before with my wife ,it is a small spot but you cant beat the quality of there food.and the lunch time specials are $7.35 with a free soda or a choice of a free soup. I would have to say this has to be my number one Chinese restaurant in queens. I have to remind you, I have been to more than a few of Chinese restaurants around queens and outside of queens and I have to say this maybe one of the best Chinese restaurants in nyc.

Good small location with seating. Convenient for lunch breaks. Provide fast accurate service, reasonable prices. I chicken fried rice which was rather tasty, they were very generous with the chicken. I'm going to definitely try out some other items on the menu.

Warning to all with a pineapple allergy like me: do not eat the duck sauce. If you like spicy ask for hot mustard instead. Orange chicken was crispy and flavorful. I did not find it spicy, but my spice tolerance is very high. My fiance had the chicken with broccoli and it looked amazing. Try the cold noodles. They are chewy and delicious. For me the fried dumplings were good, but not great. Worth a try but nothing to rave over.

I ordered the cured pork with garlic shoots and dry fried green beans. The cured pork was quite salty, and paired well with the buttery, tender leeks it was cooked with. The dish was not overly oily, and was pleasant over white rice. I enjoyed the chewiness of the pork which allowed you to experience the complex flavor. The green beans were well fried, with characteristic texture signature to this dish. The seasoning was very well balanced and not overpowering to the natural sweetness of the green beans. I would recommend either dish. They were both slightly toned down iterations when compared to the times I've eaten these dishes at other Sichuan restaurants in flushing, but still well seasoned and well cooked. The service was very warm and friendly, and many other customers seemed to be returning regulars.

We ordered the dan dan noodles for an appetizer, chewy noodles and good flavor. Then we had the custom dry pot (we put chicken, tofu, Napa and Choy medium spicy) that came out tasty and fast. And finally we ordered the crispy fish which was HUGE but crunchy and flavorful - definitely more food than we expected but it's okay! Servers were friendly and even though there was an error in our order they were quick and ways to fix. The restaurant is small and hole in the wall, feels authentic. AC wasn't on so a little warm with all this spicy food but overall will definitely come back with friends and family.

The restaurant is a few blocks from the main street of Steinway so it'll take a bit of searching. Going inside, the area is rather abstract. Pink flower wallpaper on one end and dry wall on the other, it's kinda off-putting but I didn't come here for the atmosphere anyway. Service was lukewarm, I got my order in but the two workers inside weren't too receptive and the menu itself is kinda barebones with most of their food being a bit more than I would like to pay for so I just settled on one order of Singapore Mei Fun. After waiting 10 minutes for my food to arrive, the Singapore noodles which are usually spicy were kinda salty but it was nothing a bit of duck sauce wouldn't fix. This one order cost $17 while not the worst Singapore Mei Fun...well technically it is, even though it's not horrible but I've had much better from other places for a stable price of $12. Yeah, a rather disappointing visit. Not the worst I've ever had but could be so much better.

I went with the Bolo Bun Cod Fish Burger with Wedge Fries, Salad and HK Milk Tea combo. Everything was freshly made. - Bolo Bun Cod Fish Burger: They are not skimpy with the cod! The burger has a big (almost as big as the bun!) and a small chunk of flaky Cod, coated in a crisp sturdy batter. The bolo added some sweetness, which went well in the burger. Most of the bolo is missing that flaky crisp bite, but that is the nature of making it into a sandwich. The edges were still crisp. - Wedges: fantastic! Crispy exterior, with a fluffy interior. The shape (looks like it is a thick spiral cut) lends well to that texture. - Salad: was fresh, with a non descript dressing. Added some greens and crunch (onions and pickled radish) to the meal. - HK Milk Tea: Great tea flavor and not too milky. There was a lot of ice though. Overall, a great quick spot to hit if you're in the area. I will have to try the fried pork cutlet next time!

As I entered the restaurant, the ambiance felt like I was going to a quaint location in rural China. The decor and waterfall added a nice needed touch. The Peking duck comes with sugar, pineapple, hoisin cucumber. The peking duck was overdone by a tiny bit. It was light and clean but was a very forgettable dish The Lotus root stuff with rice was an appetizer that really caught my eye by how it it looked It had a cold sweet glaze like a Chinese flower royal jelly. I was saddened that it looked much smaller than I expected. It was cut very thinly which allowed the glaze to cover it all but I wish it was a bit thicker so you could taste and feel more of the lotus root The Pumpkin w cheese was tasty but a little drying on tongue from how it was fried The sliced potato dish was a dish I have not tried before but was a bit of a let down. The Potato just tastes like a mild chili oil Nothing much The fried rice was very enjoyable. It was a bit on the oily side but that also allowed it to be cooked in a way that gives it a good wok hei. Even though the rice felt a bit oily, the dish as a whole felt very light The flavor of the fried rice was also very good. The eggs in the rice could be better. It felt a bit over cooked and the pieces felt a bit too big in it. The pork belly cube came with hawthorn in a bright red sauce the flavor was nothing special. The cubes were also too big so the flavor of the sauce doesn't soak through. Flavor is barely there other than just pork Mapo tofu was very basic and felt lacking in meat.it also doesn't come with white rice which is very integral to the sacuiness of mapo tofu. For dessert I got the fried rice cake. It was very brown sugar/ molasses forward. Even though it had a nice soft bite to it, the flavor of molasses hid any depth of flavor it had. Everything felt nice to eat, felt very fresh and light. The presentation was very pleasant but the flavors did not live up to the presentation.
