I have to start this review with praising the chicken wings. They are hands down the best chicken wings I have ever eaten. I understand why the owner takes so much pride in his food, the quality of the food is amazing. I truly had no expectation of anything above fine when ordering takeout from here, so I really was quite surprised. The main reason I chose this place was for the buy 1 get 1 options. The pork dumplings were huge and really quite nice. The dumpling itself was thick and well made. The chicken with broccoli combo plate was also pretty tasty. I came here with a friend on a whim, because I was craving Chinese takeout. Honestly it's okay, BUT YOU MUST TRY THE FRIED CHICKEN. It is a bit pricey, but very flavorful and worth it. It is right next to Popeye's but can stand up to a competition with them for their fried chicken wings!! We were very surprised with how good this chicken was. The rest of the food is okay-pretty basic. We tried the pork fried rice and the chicken lo-mein. I say "chicken" but I think they mistakingly gave me fish... it tasted, smelled and had the texture of fish. I'm a person that likes fish, but it was very mushy and unfavorable. Also the lo-mein was pretty bland. The place itself is very small and has limited seating, although we took it to go it looked pretty clean while we waited. Friend said it's the best fried chicken wings. They were indeed very good. Crispy outside. Inside is juicy and tasty. Not salty at all. Good Flavor. Big size too! $9 for four wings. It sounds expensive but considering the flavor and the size, it's reasonable. We didn't try other items. But will for sure return to get more wings plus more! read more

I ordered from here several times and it was always decent but today I'm not sure if it was a mistake or not. I ordered fried wonton's and there was literally the smallest amount of meat in the wonton. Not sure if that's normal but if it is I will not be ordering them again. See pic! read more

I got in really late from the airport and the owner was nice enough to cook something after shutting everything down. I only ordered one dish...shrimp w noodles. The flavor was good although not much to depth. Was able to make it spicy for me and gave me even extra hot oil just in case. The dish could have used a bit more shrimp and adding some more vegetables might have made it a bit healthier. I've had better and I've had worse...but good service! read more

okay this place is reaalllllllllly ballsy for being next to Popeyes!!!!! Fried Chicken Wings - we ate these right away in the car maybe like 5 minutes after picking it up! Right off the bat you can see it's perfectly fried, a nice crust and it just smelt amazing! The chicken was extremely juicy and fall off the bone tender, it made eating chicken wings in your car extremely convenient!!! The batter was a teensy bit on the thicker side but it was fried so perfectly, I didn't even mind Fried Rice - Amazinggggg. There were also 4 sizable pieces of shrimp!! There's a term in Chinese that we use - Wok Hay - this had a lot of wok hay!! According to the internet, wok hay is only achieved over very high heat which charred the ingredients causing it to have a particular essence and aroma. As you can see each grain of rice is highlighted, they do not stick to each other but also isn't hard like old rice! Hot & Sour Soup - not hot or sour...... :( we ended up pouring the hot sauce for the chicken into the soup and it was mostly corn starchy. Would not order again.... :( read more

Best fried rice ever ! Takeout -lots of bogos which is what I sampled . Even without bogos great pricing.Pork dumplings, house fried rice, fried chicken and general tso's. Everything a bit salty but most was fried chicken. Egg rolls.My sister thought loads of msg in food. I can't tell but this place has the BEST fried rice I have ever had . It's addictive. I am not a carb craver or lover but I have been overdosing on this rice. So I normally am full with 1/2 cup of any rice . And I just ate 2 cups of the fried rice solo. Also egg rolls were yummy.Generous portions for all dishes. Dumplings ok-didn't love filling -a bit saucy which I have never had in dumpling and dough a bit thick. I was mindblown by how good their fried chicken wings were. These tasted like a crossover between chinese style takeout wings and popeyes. Crispy batter on the outside and juicy, tender meat on the inside. The wings are fried fresh when you order, so they take about 15 minutes to prepare. Had the fried half chicken with pfr and it was juicy and delicious. I had to wait about 15 mins for it to be fried up fresh and it was worth the wait. Ordered the honey walnut shrimp but received something that was closer to sweet and sour shrimp with some walnuts thrown in. How do you mess up beef and string beans? I've been coming here since 2001. For many years, I had ordered food from here and been super satisfied. My go to dishes from here are shrimp and brocolli in white sauce/spicy, and I ask for beef and green peas over rice. And of course, I love their fried chicken. I get the wings and the half chicken fried. The other day I ordered the fried chicken wings, and was very surprised. It was even crunchier than usual, and tasted really great! The chicken fried there has always been good, but it has gotten even better! I asked Pat, the owner, about it, and was regaled with a story of how he had revised his method of preparation resulting in a crunchier chicken. For sure, he has succeeded! Over the years I have had great enjoyment with almost all the dishes i've gotten from here. The fried chicken I ordered is superior to KFC and Popeye's! IMO, the best fried chicken around! 5 stars guys! As far as takeout goes I think these guys nailed it! Its unassuming and kind of divey but well worth it. What makes this Chinese take out any different or better than the thousands of other takeout places is the friendly service. Never has it been so nice! Usually its cold, in and out, give me your money type attitude but you wont get that here. While I was waiting for my delicious meal I had an interesting conversation with the one of the counter ladies and it made the wait worth it. Although everything was sort of old in this place is was visibly clean. Even the cooking area looked spotless. Sometimes places like this could be sketchy. Lasty but most importantly was the food. It was great. No, it was AMAZING! Quite possible the best takeout Ive had in a while. I went ahead and ordered the roast pork with pfr and had some wonton soup and it was really good. The owner had the nerve to call and scream at my wife because they said they call an no one answers the cell number so we never have a problem with any other delivery people ever and as she simply said you guy don't ring the door bell the owner start to scream at my wife. Bad service with poor packaging and dirty used cartons, no need to buy and order again

I'm really surprised that this place only has one review. I ate in with the boo on a weekday evening and the place was pretty busy. Lots of people coming to pick up food and a few people dining in as well. Its located in the shopping area with Pathmark. Our order took a little long. But the food was pretty good. The fried rice was great. Pork fried rice with no veggies and eggs. And my half fried chicken was huge. Boo got the same with rotisserie chicken which was tasty as well. I liked the hot sauce they had. I noticed some things on the menu were a little bit pricier than your average chino's spot but nothing too crazy.
