I got house Lo mein, Singapore Mei fun, and several appetizers. The food was very good, surprisingly so in fact, but I will admit that it was greasy. There was far more oil than I'm accustomed to. Veg fried rice had large and plentiful pieces of fresh cut vegetables but the rice was very very bland. The pepper beef was excellent and my wife and I split the plentiful order. That was a mistake. I should make clear that this was the worst food I've even tried to eat in years. Everything tasted as if it had been boiled in dirty dish water - I had "fried" rice that tasted as if IT had been made in a dishwasher! It was disgusting. On top of that, it was salty. The chicken was not cut evenly, which made it hard to chew, and the broccoli was overcooked. We also ordered the general tso's chicken. Let's just say; it was only worth three bites. I watched $11 go in the trash rather quickly. Great Wall is now my go-to favorite Chinese take-out place! It's solid Americanized Chinese take-out. (They may have a secret menu of actual Chinese food as many places do; who knows?) I've only ever ordered take-out, so I don't know what the ambience is like. I've tried: - the crab rangoon (really excellent; I could eat 10 of these) - wonton soup (really great; tons of wontons, flavorful salty broth, and a good value) - beef and broccoli (good) - house special chow mein (which includes shrimp and roast pork; very good) - mu shu pork (very good, but they give you only 5 pancakes and a small amount of hoisin sauce with your a huge container of mu shu filling -- I recommend picking up some of your own sauce (and maybe pancakes, if you can find them at an Asian market?) - sweet and sour chicken (breaded with a donut-like breading and tasty and served with lots of bright red sweet sauce) - General Tso's chicken (fried chicken in sweet sauce; how could this be bad?) - a scallop and vegetable dish that was only okay and was over-priced by comparison; this is the only thing I wouldn't order again. You can order online from Grubhub or even right here through the Yelp app. I've done this twice, and each time was quoted a delivery time of 45 minutes to one hour. Each time, my food arrived in about 35 minutes. Pro tip: If you're feeding a crowd (or if you want leftovers), try to get your order above the $35 mark to get free General Tso's chicken; it's a nice added value, since the dish normally costs around $9. A $35 order can feed me and my guy for a good 3 meals each. read more

Pork fried rice was saffron-yellow, but I didn't taste any saffron, so it was just food coloring. But it looked nice. They brought the food out on a styrofoam plate. Self-serve plastic utensils and napkins. Food quality: Above Average. Service: Above Average. For what it is, it was ok Chinese food! I ordered delivery and was quoted 45-60min, I received it within 50min and most everything was still warm! I got the Sweet & Sour chicken dinner, which also came with an egg roll. The egg roll was primarily cabbage but still ok, it was still definitely crunchy! I also got some crab Rangoon which was pretty disappointing. They came crunchy but room temperature, and it was literally all cream cheese. The menu advertises crab & scallions in the ingredients and I found none. No offense, if you say crab and scallion there should be at least a little in each bite. I love crab Rangoon, but if I wanted cheese wontons I would have gone to Panda Express. Now since I ordered delivery, I had to make my order at least $15. Its so annoying places do this when it's just a single person ordering. I've seen $10 and would have understood that, but $15 seems too much! Since I had to order something else, I went with the Chicken LoMein (or was it the ChowMein, I can never remember)! I gave it a taste and it was pretty normal, nothing out of the ordinary but it did have a nice amount of chicken in it!
