I got house Lo mein, Singapore Mei fun, and several appetizers. The food was very good, surprisingly so in fact, but I will admit that it was greasy. There was far more oil than I'm accustomed to. We ordered the general tsoas and the Szechuan chicken (both supposed to be spicy) and both were sweet with virtually no spice at all. Wasn't even worth finishing! Great Wall is now my go-to favorite Chinese take-out place! It's solid Americanized Chinese take-out. (They may have a secret menu of actual Chinese food as many places do; who knows?) I've only ever ordered take-out, so I don't know what the ambience is like. I've tried: - the crab rangoon (really excellent; I could eat 10 of these) - wonton soup (really great; tons of wontons, flavorful salty broth, and a good value) - beef and broccoli (good) - house special chow mein (which includes shrimp and roast pork; very good) - mu shu pork (very good, but they give you only 5 pancakes and a small amount of hoisin sauce with your a huge container of mu shu filling -- I recommend picking up some of your own sauce (and maybe pancakes, if you can find them at an Asian market?) - sweet and sour chicken (breaded with a donut-like breading and tasty and served with lots of bright red sweet sauce) - General Tso's chicken (fried chicken in sweet sauce; how could this be bad?) - a scallop and vegetable dish that was only okay and was over-priced by comparison; this is the only thing I wouldn't order again. You can order online from Grubhub or even right here through the Yelp app. I've done this twice, and each time was quoted a delivery time of 45 minutes to one hour. Each time, my food arrived in about 35 minutes. Pro tip: If you're feeding a crowd (or if you want leftovers), try to get your order above the $35 mark to get free General Tso's chicken; it's a nice added value, since the dish normally costs around $9. A $35 order can feed me and my guy for a good 3 meals each. read more

Standard green and red ink menu with Lunch Specials only $4.95 after tax, which includes a can of soda from the cooler (but no egg roll). Standard back-lit pictures above the counter. Clutter, including kids' toys in the dining area. My Moo Goo Gai Pan was formulaic, but just how I like it, with fresh button mushrooms. Pork fried rice was saffron-yellow, but I didn't taste any saffron, so it was just food coloring. But it looked nice. They brought the food out on a styrofoam plate. Self-serve plastic utensils and napkins. Food quality: Above Average. Service: Above Average. Value: Average (would be Above Average if they kept restroom cleaner, and fixed up the dining area a little.) These places are pretty much the McDonald's of walk-up-style Americanized Chinese cuisine. They deliver.
