I ordered two of the same burgers but only one came with tomatoes, and pickles, the other only had the patties and bacon and lettuce. I was looking forward to having great state burger on the eastside but now I'm hesitant. I only asked for lettuce bun instead of the actual bun and no cheese and no sauce not no tomato & pickles. It was really sad since I'm on whole30 and needed something yummy for once. I'll try it again but will check for everything on it before I leave this time. read more

Great State Burger - Lettuce bun double burger - Fast Food Near Me - Bellevue, Washington

I have always been a fan ever since they opened their first location in Ravenna/U-District. I also order frequently from their downtown location. I give this location 2 stars. The service was horrendous! First person I ordered from couldn't be bothered to give me any drink she just strolled into the back area. I had to go back to the counter to ask for my drink. Then we had items missing from our to go order. I had to wait in line again to get anyone's attention to have them help me. I think they had opened the week prior, but it felt like no one knew what was going on. So when I went back to the counter no one could help me and they looked to one person to direct them. I honestly spent more time waiting for my order here than I have spent eating a full meal at Kizuki around the corner. The food is still solid, but with the service and slowness I am taking off stars because there are much better options around the mall. read more

I'd give this place a half star. This place is utter shit and they're always understaffed. Took me almost half an hour to get some goddamn fries. And the bastards made me late for work. Never going here again, and if you're reading this, don't go there either. read more

The staff were friendly and helped answer all my allergen questions. I was provided an ingredient/allergen menu. I'm dairy/soy free. It's difficult to find a place to eat that doesn't use dairy, soy (especially soybean oil). The burger bun is dairy and soy free and the fries are cooked in rice oil. I was so happy to find this place! The burger and fries were good! I'll be coming back soon! read more

Mediocre burgers, but exceptionally slow service. Messed up customization on the order (no cheese), and one of the burgers had both bun and bacon burnt to taste more of charcoal than anything else. Decent fries. Wouldn't bother again based on wait time vs quality of food read more

I ordered a double burger and fries. Came out to $13.5. Kind of expensive for some "fast food" burger and fries. But it was pretty good. I'd say a 8/10. Their meat patties are a good size. I'd probably get a single patty burger next time. Burger had fresh veggies, soft bun, and juicy patty. The fries have a unique taste to them, they have a thin crispy layer on the outside, and they're soft on the inside. The best fries I've had in a long time. I'm going to subtract one star for price and location. $13.5 with no drink. The location is also in the mall so it's a busy place and is far from most of the entrances besides the front main entrance of Bellevue Square. read more

Epitome of overpriced "quick-serve." Place is a joke and should be ashamed of what they serve for the cost. Gave this place three tries and was disappointed literally every time read more

Drove here to get a breakfast sandwich and was extremely confused and angry when the person at the counter told me they only serve breakfast until 11AM however they don't open until 11AM. So basically they don't serve breakfast sandwiches on the weekend. When I went to the SLU location they served them from 11AM - 3PM on the weekends so I'm assuming they just didn't want to serve me a breakfast sandwich since it was an inconvenience to them. Like Great State but clearly there is something to be fixed here. read more

The veggie burger was not good and I didn't even finish eating it. Fried and stale at the same time. The fries were okay but over salted. The chocolate shake was the only part of the meal I would eat again. I wouldn't come back unless it was my only option. It was also expensive and slow for the food provided. read more

Excellent location on second floor in mall! Mall seating out front! Delicious burgers!

Food was disgusting, staff was rude, go anywhere else. I hate ketchup and they put ketchup on my burger, when I told them I asked for no ketchup they said that's not what it said on the order. Why would I forget to order no ketchup when I've hated it my entire life? 0/10 go to mcdonalds read more

I only ordered one regular cheeseburger from this place. It was just average in my opinion. The beef patty tasted fine. My issue was the entire bun seemed kind of 'floppy and soft' for lack of a better description. The taste was fine, but the soft texture was lacking for my preference. It wasn't bad, but neither was it out of the ordinary. The customer service was nice, the cashier was friendly and gave me extra ice in my water upon request. I appreciate little things like that. It's an alright place to go for a reasonably quick burger in BSquare. read more

14 dollars a combo. Unfriendly staff.20 minute wait time For the price i was very dissatisfied, ive been to the seattle locations and its under 10 dollars and i thought it to be odd. Anyway i waited for 20 minutes after i ordered and my burgers were cold. The fries were good for crinkle cut but when i asked for a new burger since mine and my sons were cold i was ignored and that really did it for me, Broiler Bay is just down the street and i could get a full combo for 4 dollars cheaper. This place is creative with its presentation the squared bags and what not but the food quality, size and price. Id rather even go to red robin just downstairs. It seems the idea was to make fast food like how mcdonalds originally was. Honestly it wishes it could be a hole in a wall burger joint and it seems like the main audience for this place is mostly rich people that dont know how to cook in bellevue for a burger they could make at home. read more

It's rather clear that Great State is attempting to apply the Shake Shack model. While the burgers are not very good, they're not bad. Ordered a double combo and a kids burger. I don't appreciate ketchup being slathered on my burger for me. That should be to my discretion. read more

I bought a double burger, added fries and some steak sauce to my order. The burger was tasty (3.5 stars), the fries were crispy (4 stars), and the steak sauce was a nice option to put on my burger and fries. Overall it's a tasty fast food burger with dipping options not often found at fast food places. read more

Would've been more satisfied with a McDonald's combo over this $16 mediocre, over cooked burger. Not worth it.

Great burger place but quite pricy. The service is great; employees were very nice and helpful, even letting us try some of their drinks since we were indecisive. Food wise, the burger and fries were better than McDonald's burger which is saying a lot because you can't ever go wrong with fast food. However, I don't think I will come here that often because as mentioned, it's quite pricy. You get your moneys worth tho! read more

We had the Great State burger. It was better than McDonalds patty but cost a lot more than a Big Mac. Considering the price I would recommend going to McDonald's read more

Not worth the hype. Food was medicocre at best and somewhat comparable to Dick's but Dick's is still better. The shakes aren't bad but don't have a rich taste ever more of a fake syrup flavor. The burgers are also alright but really bland. Wouldn't recommend. read more

Not sure how this place exists. Got a vanilla shake and it was the worst shake I've ever had hands down. My homies got a burger and fries and they didn't like em. I tried some of the crinkle fries and let's just say that my school has better fries. Can't wait to never go here again. read more

Single burger sets were good but the place was quite crowded. There were not enough space to sit and eat the food. The staffs are really friendly. read more

Great State Burger - Great state burger outside of the bar - Fast Food Near Me - Bellevue, Washington

I've eaten here twice with mixed reviews. The first time, the shakes had a weird flavor - both of my children threw them out. The burgers and fries were fine. The second time, they overcharged us ($36 for 3 burgers and a side of fries) to which then needed a manager to credit. They only then made half the order. Fast forward to the rest of the order then being made incorrectly. The girl behind the counter was beyond snotty. Not a great experience and the cost doesn't justify the food. There are too many great options at and around the mall. Will be hard pressed to go back. read more

Got a $5 burger tastes worse than $2 McDonald's burger. I do not suggest this restaurant but there are limited options at the mall

So many new food stops opening up in Bellevue Square! Great State Burger is a good addition to the Bellevue Square food court. Just a classic burger and fries. The single patty was good size for me and I came with an empty stomach. Nothing extraordinary but still a good burger. I have nothing negative to say for food quality. However, they server accidentally gave me and extra burger and when I said I only ordered one, he just threw it in the trash. It shocked me that he couldn't find something else to do with it...but if that's just protocol, I guess it's fine. Overall, good place to stop by if your hungry and want something quick. read more

Good burger, but from a price point I'll keep to Red Robin since their cheaper and quality is little better.

Highly anticipated. Very disappointed. The wait time for the food was long and it wasn't even very busy. Their fries was very tasty but the toasted bun and beef were very dry. And by the time my fries were ready, my burger was cold. It took them 15 min to come up with my single patty combo. I won't eat there again!!!! read more

Really confused with these reviews! Only waited about 5 minutes and my burger and fries were amazing. They reminded me of shake shack which have pretty incredible burgers! I will definitely be back here again! read more

If I could give this place lower than one star I could. This location has no sense of time management. The employees are standing around and not assisting orders. Ordered 2 fries and a soda....30 mins later finally received our order. For a place that has 4 items on their menu. They are in dire need of new management. I highly recommend you NOT come here. Even at any location, due to the poor customer service here. read more

I work in the mall and always come in for fries or a veggie burger and am always impressed with the customer service. The manager, Paul, is always so helpful and kind. Whatever he is getting paid, it's probably not enough. 10/10 best customer service and best fries (it's actually pretty dangerous how good the fries are). read more

After a long wait for them to open, what a disappointment. Let's start with the positives. The fries were great. Crispy and not greasy. Toasted bun was yummy. That's it for positives. Our food was cold. The burger was cold and dry. It's super expensive for what you get (I know this is Bellevue but $30 for 2 dry cold burgers, two child sized sodas and two orders of fries is still silly). The shake machine wasn't working which is probably for the best as a 16 oz shake is $6.50. The soda was Jones which is good but a small child sized serving not even full. I'm glad we gave it a try but we will not go back. read more

I waited for 30+ minutes until I noticed people who arrived much later were already having their burgers. I walked to the counter and asked to check my order, the guys looks confused. I got the refund and just walked away. read more

We ordered a burger while shopping at Bellevue Square. The staff was cleaning for about 2 minutes before staff approached us. We ordered and recieved our burger. The burger we ordered was cold like it was sitting out for an extended period. Contacted HQ about our visit and they provded us with a gift card for a future visit. Would not visit this particular location again. read more

My son has been throwing up all night after eating the burger here. He was totally fine all day and threw up for the first time about one hour after eating the burger. I am pretty certain they served undercooked meat. They should be ashamed. Never coming here again. read more

This is my favorite burger place in Bellevue! Hamburgers meat is juicy and with a smoky taste, buns are soft and a little crunchy. This is the place to eat if im in the mall! For sure will be coming back! read more

Very pricey and small serving sizes...the sign says the drinks are 12 ounces but the cup is clearly 4 to 6..when I questioned the size I got for my shake the employee got defensive fast!!.. there's better places in the mall to eat read more

Customer service is absolutely garbage, the lady that took my order was nice however the one that delivered the order was beyond rude. I ask for more fry sauce and her response was "really? You want more??" read more

This is a quality quick serve restaurant. Reminds me of in and out or lunchbox. The hamburger and crinkly fries were fresh and well proportioned. The large shake was decent a little better than McDonald's but the large size would be the equivalent of a small at most places. The double combo meal and shake came to 20 bucks which is ridiculously priced and more than double what you'd pay at a similar restaurant. Avoid unless you like spending money. read more

Great State Burger - This is a large shake! Looks small to me. - Fast Food Near Me - Bellevue, Washington

Overall tastes good but the fries and burger is too salty. Hope they can lower the sodium level.

Sadly did not get to try the food. Was pondering ordering watching employees use personal cellphone and register and money THEN handle food all while wearing the same gloves. read more

Veggie burger's patty was OILY! We ordered 3 veggie burgers and all three patties had oil dripping from them.
