Their fish burrito is better than from any non-chain Mexican restaurants I've tried. Fish is perfectly cooked to the right crisp, flakiness, and temperature. I've always ordered through drive through or DoorDash. For drive through I've never had to wait long. They've always given me the correct order via DoorDash. If you're a pescatarian like me I would highly recommend their fish burrito/taco. Can't comment on the ambiance because I've never dined there in person. read more

Taco Time - Mexican Near Me - Kirkland, Washington

You get more authentic food at a real taqueria, you get better food at a Chipotle, and you can get cheaper food at Taco Bell. I don't see why I would ever come back here. The food was disappointing. It had so little meat that I had to check if they actually added beef. The guac in my burrito was so cold that I can feel where they added it. The salsas are a nice touch but are mid. The place had a weird odor coming from the kitchen that was quite concerning. The people working there are nice though. read more

I still ate the burrito but it had only 1.5 tiny pieces of chicken in it. Ordered soft habanero chicken burrito with a couple modifications, (they got those right) but hardly any chicken at all-- ate the whole thing and had not even 2 regular sized pieces of chicken. Also the sprite i got had zero syrup in it, it was basically tonic water. Initially they handed me another person's order but I caught that... Probably gonna go to the other Kirkland location next time, but since my order has been disappointing the last 3x regardless of location I'm kinda over taco time for a while. Customer service was good though, friendly staff. read more

Watch the amount of change they give you back. The lady shorted me and hoped I would not notice. It was not much, a couple of pennies, but that adds up throughout the day, month, years. Food tasted fine. read more

This was my 2nd time getting to try Taco Time, I live in Northern Seattle and saw this and pulled up to try, was not dissatisfied whatsoever and because it was my first time the employee that took my order, Eric, was extremely patient so I appreciate that, I went through the drive thru so I wasn't inside the restaurant, I got a soft burrito with Dr Pepper and some type of small potato delights, someone please tell me what they're called because I forgot read more

Taco Time - Tasty potato things (i forgot the name) in slow traffic - Mexican Near Me - Kirkland, Washington

Taco Time is one of the best regional fast food restaurants. Growing up I've come to Taco Time my whole life, as go to lunches and dinners. This location specifically has always been right next to my house making it my go to location. For a while this location would minimally be open due to the lack of workers, and the service used to be slow. But ever since a couple months ago they seemed to fix their issue making them insanely reliable and quick. I haven't waited over 5 minutes for food in months. The workers here are always so kind and the food is always hot and fresh. Taco Time is some of the best quality fast food, and is an insanely good price given the quality. I only give 4 stars due to the fact they used to be unreliable but know ever since a year ago they've been pretty reliable! read more

Taco Time - Tostada Chicken salad. - Mexican Near Me - Kirkland, Washington

This taco time is rude the black guy had a major attitude when he brought us food. He was glaring at us and shaking his head. I don't know what his problem was but I found it very disrespectful. The one that took the order was nice but that was it. read more

Great place!! Super fresh ingredients, very friendly service, clean, efficient. So happy we stopped in today!

Stopped for dine-in about an hour after opening. Greeted only by "order on the screen" from a cook on the front line. Only person in store. All employees were working the drive through. 4 tables were dirty, along with floors and floor below the counter....which led me to see the front doors were filthy. Waited quite awhile for my order, heard 2 construction workers complaining about how long their order took (they ordered long after myself) Noticed my order was sitting on the front line on a tray... Think I'll stick with the Totem Lake location. Friendlier, cleaner, faster and more efficient. read more

So much potential, but every time it is such an extreme disappointment with service, food, etc

This taco time is so slow! I go there often during my lunch break since it's close to my job. Today it took them 25 minutes to make an order of nachos. They took up my entire lunch break and I didn't have time to eat. I was working an 8 hour shift and couldn't eat. I understand that things happen but you could see that they were only working on drive thru orders and not lobby orders. Definitely not going there anymore because shit if I'm working an 8 hour shift I deserve my break. read more

Taco Time is a step up from Its' lesser competitor however this place is still fast food. On a rainy, cold Friday night with 1 hour until closing time we went through the drive thru due to no restaurant entrance. The ordering process took a little bit as there were only 2 people working..the manager and his helper. They were working fiercely and correctly took our order. We ordered a beef burrito, taco salad, kids fried burrito and extra mexi fries. The food at best is mediocre with more refried bean than meat in all the dishes. There isn't much taste and everything had a one note, cardboard type flavor. The best part of the meal were the Mexi fries. It was great though that they had decent honest kids juice instead of sugary, sweet soft drinks. The exceptional part of this experience is the manager. He worked so hard, moved fast, polite and made sure the order was right. Very impressive because it shows he cares! read more

First off, their taco time beef taco salad is just as good as ever. My only complaint is that they are limiting the hot sauce to one per item ordered. In fact, when we went thru the drive thru, they did not ask, as usual, how many hot sauces we wanted. They just handed us our order. We quickly looked to see how many we got, and there was none in the bag. We finally got their attention and asked for the hot sauce. He gave us two small plastic containers. He said you only get one per item ordered. Later, i found that one of them was only half full. I probably could have paid for extras but didn't. read more

It's an okay location. Still mind blowing that this place is only open a few hours a day. They say "staffing issues" but I don't see how this is really the cause - we're how many years past covid now? Slowest drive through - save the headache and just go inside for your to-go food. read more

Good service. Nice staff but bad tasting food and I will take Taco Bell any day over this place. Cheese Nachos with no cheese , you can see the picture I posted. The Beef Burritos did not taste like beef at all. I could not even eat more than one byte. Yes, nice place, very well decorated but it does not do me any good if the wood is bad. read more

Wish they had the staff to be open- we've tried twice and both times they were closed. Taco time is one of the few fast food places I eat at -- they actually cook the food with real ingredients and you can tell the quality is higher than some actual restaurants. Clean, fresh, fast. Would give 5 stars but they keep being closed... oh ok, I'll go back up to 5. Hope you guys can recover from the hardships of pandemic. read more

Taco Time is great, and during the pandemic, they've really made an effort to keep this up. Thank you for wearing masks. I'll wear one from my car also, for you. My only deep question is: Where did Jason go? He was the Totem Lake Taco Time Rockstar. And now I miss him. He helped me through the whole episode where Taco Time changed their tortillas, and I had to stay away for months. But then we rejoiced together for excellent tortillas. And then the pandemic hit, and Jason disappeared. Please tell me at least that he's okay, and maybe bringing the good word to Taco Time's throughout the world... read more

Higher priced than other Taco Times in the Seattle area. Drive thru was average on speed and the cashier was friendly. Fan of the chicken burrito. Simple but so tasty. I was an Uber driver last year and had some customers visiting from Berlin that asked that I drive them to Taco Time. Yes, it is very American Mexican but it's good. You won't find mole nor will you find a chalupa, but you want Taco Time's version of a crisp burrito - a mix of a burrito and a taquito - or how about their tostado salad - you came to the right place. And I can't explain, but their tots hit the spot. They don't taste like they were in a bag in the freezer. Note: For anyone familiar with Taco Time in Idaho, Utah and Nevada, the Taco Time chain in Seattle is VASTLY different. Different food/menu, ice (the ice here is all super fine), and the goofy spokesman is a talking cactus, not the racially ambiguous latina elsewhere. The food tastes MUCH better in WA state and is worth the price. Taco Time in WA has been around for 45 years. read more

It was awful. Was really wanting taco time. People were friendly enough but the food was horrible. I had two crisp beef tacos and two crisp beef burritos. The meat tasted spoiled and instead of making a fresh batch the quadrupled the salt in attempts to hide it. It truly was inedible. read more

The hours at this location are extremely limited despite it's prime location. Check before attempting to go.

I've been to plenty of Taco Times in my day and I'd say this is the second best one I've been to. Inside was clean and the employees were hustling while still being friendly. I'm not sure if it was the owner or a manager, but he was out doing all sorts of things as well. I totally took advantage of the 5 tacos for $5 today and it was awesome! I'll come here again someday and I really hope the visit is just as pleasant. read more

The parking lot is a disaster. It's too small so a lot of people double park, and the employees don't make the double parkers move. Also, the drive thru is slow so you also have people park behind your car to wait on the drive thru, and again, the employees don't make the blockers move. The employees just don't care. Also, they usually give you a bean burrito if you order a beef burrito. They make more money that way, and I guess they think most people won't notice, but they don't taste nearly as good. The crisp part of a bean crisp burrito is great, but the filling tastes like damp cardboard. Make sure you check before leaving, and be warned that the browned part of the beans on the edge look a lot like they could be beef. That screwed me the last time I was there since I only looked and thought it looked like beef. You have to taste it to be sure they're not screwing you over yet again. read more

Anytime is a Taco Time and it shows! I ordered a crisp meat burrito today when I laid down my cash at Taco Time. And I must say nobody makes a crisp beef burrito like taco time does... The flakiness of the deep fried crust and meat grease all blend together to make on of the finest fast food delicacies on the planet! Even the crispy bean burrito is awesome and it shows! Whether it's crisp hard shell taco or soft taco it's the perfect snack when your on the move, I know I eat here all the time. The taco mini meal is perfect for that that feeding frenzy. Taco Times menu is a culinary delight for all foodies. Some of the highlights are the Mexi Fries, Soft Taco and plain regular Taco which are just many of the wonderful tasty treats you can order. And if you just wanna nibble, well they serve half size orders for your cravings... FYI I dislike the new soft drink machines, the coke I got tasted funny so I switched to lemonade, so beware. Won't change my 5 star review but just a side note. If you grew up in the NW then you know what I'm talking about... And those thinking about trying it, don't think just do! Viva Taco Time! read more

It's just not that good. Every so often I crave a really good crispy shelled taco. It's one of those dishes I could make at home, but sometimes its just easier to let someone else boil and shred, spice and sauce. Usually, when I'm in the rare conjunction of "willing to eat fast food" and "tacos, NOW" I wander over to Jack In The Box because they do it best; Taco Time has done nothing to change my opinion there. Even for fast food, Taco Time makes some fundamental mistakes - like over-salting their beef(ish) filling, using dried stale corn shells for the tacos, and adding gross industrial thickeners to the pumped salsas. The interior of this place is spotless, the decor is tasteful, and the service is incredibly friendly, but none of that really makes up for seriously poor food. read more

Taco Time - Burrito plate. - Mexican Near Me - Kirkland, Washington

This is one of the cleanest fast food locations I have ever seen. The staff is friendly, the food is fresh and brought to your table. The prices are higher then most "fast food" options; however, they you get what you pay for. The quality (and more healthy meals) will set cost over $6.00 for a burrito; however, the quality and healthiness of the meal served well makes up for this cost. If you are paying $1.00 for a burger or chicken nuggets at a competitor, you have to really question how good (and natural) it is for you! Although I rarely eat at "Fast food" anymore, Taco Time is a great option. Additional benefits are it is very close to the Kirkland Costco and has a Coca Cola free style machine (dang it, there goes the healthy side of Taco Time!) read more

Went to Taco Time last night to pick up tacos for dinner. The food is good, but when I pulled up to the window to pick up my order I was shocked to see that none of the people working there were wearing masks. There they were making tacos and burritos by hand wearing gloves but no masks. If one of these people has the virus they are liable to spread it to every customer, and of course the entire crew. I already wrote a review of another Taco Time, so it's not a secret that I like their chain of restaurants. I'm not sure why anyone thinks this is Mexican food. It's Mexican-inspired, at best.
