I'm an out-of-towner, just drove by and stopped because I was starving. I ordered potstickers, hot & sour soup, and the sweet & sour combo plate. I personally wouldn't recommend the potstickers or soup. The combo plate wasn't bad - average quality and portions, I'd say. The atmosphere is pretty ghetto and the service isn't anything to write home about, but no major complaints. If you're looking for cheap, decent Chinese in Orem, this will do just fine. read more

Easily one of the very best Chinese restaurants I have ever been to. I immediately noticed how clean the place was. We were seated right away and offered drinks. The food in the buffet was so fresh and extremely tasty - I could have eaten two plates of everything. Our waitress was very considerate and attentive; she offered us refills several times. Unbeatable lunch buffet. It goes 11-3 and it is by far the best food deal in the state as far as I know. $7.50 for all you can eat and drink. Selection is smaller than other buffets, but everything is DELICIOUS!!!!! I eat here every chance I get. read more

I come here for the lunch buffet. Great deal. I think it's under $8 and includes a drink. Staff are very friendly and food is great. Options are limited, but sometimes that's a good thing. They load up a lot of there meats with vegetables.. too many vegetables. The veggies are good but I think the ratio is just off. Also their crab Rangoons don't have any thing in them. Just a tiny little spec. Those are my only complaints.. except one time they mixed my sprite with water when I left the table, but it's whatever. Simple mistake. read more

This is not somewhere that I would've chosen to eat at. As other reviews have stated, it is a hole in the wall in a mostly run down looking complex. My whole family was pleasantly surprised and very very happy with the food! We orders at least 6 entrees plus fried rice, 3 appetizers(which were all very good,potstickers were esp yummy )and 2 soups. The waitress was very accommodating also. The place was clean including glasses and silverware.We would visit again for sure next time we are in the area! Very glad we didn't dismiss this place because we judged it from the outside! We had some really good dinner there. The atmosphere is a bit bland but it was a very friendly family run restaurant. Their daughter helped out, coming by and asking whether or not the food is good. It was my first time there but it seems to be a very good place with reasonable prices. read more

I havent even got my food yet. And that is part of the reason i am writing this review. This will be based on service... I called for pickup and the lady told me that it will be ready in 15 minutes. I showed up in 15 minutes and have been waiting for almost 30 minutes now. They are understaffed. It seems to me like they give first priority to customers that dine in. My family and I have been coming to this restaurant about 20 years! For what you get the food is incredibly priced and there are some dishes that I just cannot turn down. Their Salt and Pepper chicken wings are about as good as it gets when it comes down to it. They are so very moist and so full of flavor. The family and I crave the food but sadly live over 2 hours away. There are times that we all jump in the car and drive up to orem just to eat then drive back home. The staff are all wonderful and helpful. One day I got in a conversation with the manager and told him that I appreciated the food and I love the place. He ended up following me outside to see my car that I had bought new. Wonderful people. Kick ass Wings and overall wonderful food! I am so disappointed and frustrated at the money we just threw away at this place. Orange chicken and sweet & sour chicken used really poor quality, cheap, grisly chicken--definitely no breast meat. Same goes for the beef and broccoli. Egg drop soup tasted like week-old leftovers. Ham-fried rice was mediocre. Cream cheese wontons tasted stale--like they were fried a couple of days ago and heated up in the microwave. We threw most of the food away. This is the kind of quality that wouldn't surprise me at a $10 all-you-can-eat buffet. But for $50, I feel like I've just been sucker-punched in the gut. read more

They offer a lunch buffet that is as good or better than most Chinese buffets. The lemon chicken is really good. The chicken is long slices that have been deep fried and it is so tender. Better than a lot of upscale restaurants. Egg rolls and vegetable lo mein are also very good. This place lacks ambience. It is an old building with mostly tables. The one star is only because it was required to post this review! Opened at 11:00. We went in at 11:00. There was no food in the buffet. A few minutes later they brought out hot and sour soup. It had a very sweet taste to it as if straight sugar was a main ingredients. The only food out was breaded pork and chicken. It was extremely hot and very average. Waited 20 more minutes and nothing else was ready We got up and paid nearly $17 dollars for basically soup and a drink for two people. This is the second time we have been burned by this place and we will not be back. If you are going to open at 11:00 and seat customers you should be completely ready to serve those customers or you should not be open. read more

Well, I came back. It was for lunch and during the week. I think we must have gotten there just after they opened because the stream table was being assembled. We had lemon chicken, ham fried rice, chicken wings, broccoli beef etc. Everything was hot and fresh. We didnt have a lot of time, but we left having eaten to our hearts content. The place is really small so the buffet doesn't have too many options. The take out is pretty good and the portions are filling and great considering the price. The food quality is not bad, the reason why they get a four is because their selection is not the greatest and some sides like the fried chicken were not as fresh. We have 2 Taiwanese students staying with us, and they had a hankering for Chinese food, so we stopped by here. There were very few guests, and the decor is non-existent, but the food was great and the prices even better! 9 of us ate for $75, and we took home 3 containers of takeout! Our students were very pleased with their beef and noodles, and the dishes I tried were tasty, as good as any Chinese I have had. I will definitely be going back! We went to eat here on Valentine's Day on 2/14/2020. Third time we had been there. The first two times, we enjoyed. Good food but not a lot of money. This past Friday was a terrible experience. So terrible, we didn't leave a tip, which we never do, but we were treated like second class citizens. We got there before 5:00 because we new it could get busy, we were sat down, gave our order and soup was brought, which was more on the cold side . We didn't say anything and ate it. Our dinner came and same thing, they were both on the Luke warm to cold. My husband asked if his plate could be warmed up. As much as I hate to complain, I wanted mine warmed also. She took my husbands plate first. After almost 8 to 10 min, his plate came back. She then took mine and it took the same amount if time. Never came to see how we were doing. Arrived on a Monday night, was instantly seated and water was brought. Our waitress, Lillian, was adorable, friendly, and polite. She also seemed to be doing about 70% of the work! I have been to there third times but I WILL NEVER GO TO THERE AGAIN NOW. There is cheap price lunch buffet even if there are few types of food. Food quality is so so. I have a terrible experience. I went to there with my 2-year-old baby. They did not provide any drink and flatware for my baby, however they charged children price for my baby. They had not charged her before, so I asked to young lady. And she said THEY CHARGE FOR ALL CHILDREN AFTER THE AGE OF 1. THEY CHARGE FOR YOUR 1-YEAR-OLD BABY. Also, THE YOUNG LADY WAS VERY RUDE. I've never experienced anyting like this before. There was not any notice in there and also the server did not tell me. I been to there third times but they did not charge my baby before. I've never been to the restaurant that charged for child under 3 years. There has no food to eat for 1 to 2 year old children, but they will charge for you. read more

This place is fantastic. Yes, it can take awhile for your food to get to you, but that is because it's made-to-order by the owner and cook Wayne, and because it is a family operated restaurant. That being said, it's worth the wait! The staff is very friendly and I've developed a good relationship with them over time. I especially love the soup that comes with every meal - Egg Flower Soup. If you want the best bang for your buck, you should go at lunchtime. They have a very inexpensive buffet where you can eat all the food (and drinks) you want. This is my favorite Chinese restaurant around. I don't understand some of the reviews I have seen on here about the food - it's fresh and follows food regulation standards. Also, the portion sizes are insanely large - you'll probably be taking home leftovers. You can have as many drink refills as you want.
