It's a good day when you can finally get your hands on these ice creams. I had been seeing them all…read moreover IG and heard how quickly they sell out. I tried twice before and no luck. They went quicker than a Sat shoe release and I buy lots of shoes. I randomly checked my email one day and was notified they were in stock so off to the website I go to snag some ice cream. I was expecting flavors to be sold out but was so surprised to see they weren't. I bought a Nasi lemak, strawberry crunch cake, rose milk tea, and blueberry basil lemon. All very good. Not overly sweet which I loveeee. Flavors are creative and very unique -Nasi Lemak: 4/5 surprising really good. Can't really taste the coconut as the peanut flavor is a tad stronger but the pandan is definitely there. Very subtle and not overpowering. I'm indifferent about the peanut flavor and if given the option would use less since it does kind of drown out other flavors. Overall really delicious though! -Strawberry Crunch Cake: 4/5 reminds me a lot of strawberry cheesecake. There is chunks of cake mixed into the ice cream and it's really nice. I was hoping it was going to be like the strawberry shortcake but still not disappointed. -Rose Milk Tea: 2/5 really really strong. I really enjoy lavender and thought I'd enjoy rose just as much. I do love the pieces of edible rose pedals but it's a tad sweet for me and so fragrant that it reminds me of potpourri. It's definitely not something I want to be reminded of when having ice cream. It's a great flavor for someone that enjoys rose but I will definitely pass on this next time. -Blueberry Basil Lemon: 5/5 this is my absolute favorite! I love blueberry, basil, and lemon all as separate flavors. I'm quite fond of them to say the least so when I saw that there was a flavor with all of these combine. I was very intrigued, it was like it was specially made for me haha. Very different and I'm surprise how well they all work together. Wish the lemon flavor was more incorporate in the ice cream instead of just in the middle but regardless it's delicious and I'll be savoring it until I finish the pint. While the ice cream are a bit on the pricier side at $14 a pop. I'm all about supporting local business and really happy I got to try some :) I'll probably try to buy other flavors in the future but I think I've satisfied my curiosity for the time being.

You place an order starting the Sunday before to be picked up anytime 1-3pm the following Sunday at The Station Coffee shop next to the Beacon Hill light rail station, so I did precisely that last week to try to Rose Milk Tea and Ube Marshmallow flavors. At $14 a pint (phew tax included!), it is quite pricey though these are local and Kryse herself makes the ice cream in small batches. It is definitely in line with premium ice cream, with a nice complex mix of flavors, some of them quite innovative. Rose Milk Tea - 3/5 I love how they have rose petals actually mixed in, and the flavor is quite fragrant. However, the batch of ice cream for this is a bit powdery and flaky, so it wasn't smooth like it should be. This ice cream was also a bit too sweet for me. Ube Marshmallow - 5/5 Anything with ube is great, but this ice cream flavor takes it up a notch! Although I placed the order for this apparently hours after they launched the upcoming week's orders, this flavor was not sold out, but it instantly sold out this week for the upcoming week. The marshmallow has a nice roasted flavor that pairs really well with the ube itself. It is also not as sweet as the Rose Milk Tea - "not too sweet" my favorite level of sweetness. I will likely prepare in advance and order these ice cream again, as the flavors seem to be rotating quite often, though I will reserve it for celebrations and special occasions as the prices are a bit high to treat this as a "stress-eat" ice cream.

When I arrived at Lenox, you simply walked up and ordered your coffee before being sat at a table. There were visible menus for the coffee options and it was easy to order. I went with the Haitian Mocha Latte and it absolutely was everything I want my coffee to be. The first sip was smooth and bold at the same time: deep, slightly earthy Haitian coffee layered with a mellow chocolate note that didn't overpower, just quietly lingered. The brown sugar softened everything, adding this warm, almost caramel-like sweetness that wrapped around the espresso instead of sitting on top of it. I don't typically get iced coffees often because I don't want my coffee watered down, but even the ice didn't stand a chance of messing up this golden cup of delight. The latte remained silky throughout the entire drinking experience. It tasted like a slow moment in the middle of a busy day--cool, comforting, and just a little bit luxurious. I can't wait to come back!

I went with their mango matcha latte since it was a seasonal item. The drink was super yummy and well balanced with it not being overly sweet. The freeze dried mangos were a nice touch and the matcha flavor was very strong. The customer service was exceptional. The baristas were very sweet and had great suggestions. I really like that in place of accepting tips, they donate to Haitian non-profits.

As advertised by the store name up front, it serves fresh ice cream and is home for many old-school arcade games and pinball machines, all in colorful-tile floors and lights strewn on the walls near the pinball machines while also being dim in that area to reflect an actual arcade. There's also outside seating that you won't see on Google Maps, along with the neighboring Flying Lion Brewing; it was probably made in the wake of the pandemic. They offer a bunch of flavors here and you can sample the flavors before deciding what you want and what you want it in. Staff was helpful in letting me sample these flavors, and I decided on a single scoop of s'mores ice cream in a cup and without toppings. Out of the other flavors I got a taste of - cookie and cream and salted caramel - this one stood out the most for having a smooth vanilla taste along with a cinnamon and chocolate hit as expected of s'mores themselves. Ice cream consistency was near-perfect as well. This flavor hit on a warm day like for this visit, and they offer other ice cream variations too like sundaes and milkshakes! As a random bonus, they sell Pokemon cards up at the front along with some of the rarer ones taped with protection cases at the front, and run some Pokemon organized plays according to a board near the entrance to the arcade area.

I tried the ube and milk tea - I don't intend to be mean but they were probably the worst ube and milk tea ice cream I've ever tried. Usually both of these flavors are super strong and clear, but if these ice creams weren't labeled I wasn't sure if I could tell what the ice cream was. I ended up getting the banana cream and the coffee Oreo instead. The owner said that the coffee Oreo was his bestseller but this is probably towards the bottom of the coffee ice cream (Oreos or not) I've had. The banana cream was ok and it was definitely the best of the four flavors I tried. The runny ice cream actually suited this flavor relatively well and gave it some flavoring; however, it did have a strange and unpleasant after taste. Anyways this review is just for the ice cream. I know the venue is also an arcade but I didn't play so I'm not leaving a review for that. The interior was a bit dark which gave me somewhat strange vibes. But I'm sure it's fine, the owner was super nice which is why I didn't want to make a negative review but alas I like rating ice cream too much... 2.5/5
