I can't say the same for my daughter who got the strawberry coconut and well - needless to say - THEY USE FRESH FRUIT!!! So - it wasn't strawberry season and I probably asked to make her drink regular or more sweet. But considering that other reviews said they make it sweet even with less sugar requested - I got duped. The food court is off of the main road and the plaza can get pretty crowded so parking is limited if there are a lot of people. I really love their Lady Pink Guava drink, which is guava + cream top, although they're known for their grape drinks. I've had the cotton candy grape and the pure grape drinks. While those were pretty fun for grape based drinks, they're on the sweeter end while guava is more tart. Most of their drinks do come with agar boba, which is something I enjoy. I don't think there is an option to remove the toppings from their drinks though. Another thing to note is that I don't think they really honor the customizations on the less sugar or no sugar. I've order the same drink for my friend and I, mine being no sugar and my friend's having regular sugar level, they tasted the same. While the drinks are great, the time and effort to get it is horrible. The store is part of this small food court (made from an old restaurant), sharing the space and ordering screen with 2 other restaurants. Expect like zero parking and long lines to order. I love checking out new boba spots, but I was kind of skeptical of place as I am usually not the biggest fan of grape flavored stuff. Mochi and Taro (less sugar, jinx oolong tea) - My current favorite place for mochi drinks. Mochi as a topping is usually not everyones favorite in terms of taste and texture, but their mochi is soooo good! Its soft and has a really nice milky flavor to it. The taro was also good. Pure Grape - My bf wanted to try this and I have to say, they really live up to their name as the drink was really good. The drink was refreshing with a perfect balance of tea and grape. The parking lot is a little small so parking spots may be limited since there are people probably eating at the eatery inside. I got the grape and lemon and my bf got the dragonfruit drink. It seems like that is the grape of choice for drinks at Grapeholic, which added a great natural sweetness. They are located inside of the Social Eatery building, along with Rice Monster and Noodleosophy. It was a little difficult to get to the storefront so follow your GPS. You can see the building off of El Camino, but there isn't a turnoff so you'll need to drive around the back way. It was SUPER busy at 1:45pm on a Sunday, and it was about a 20 minute wait for my drink. You can order ahead using a third party food delivery platform if you don't mind paying a surcharge. They don't take phone orders, and the other option is to place an order in person using their kiosk at the location. However, they only have ONE kiosk available, and I hope they look into adding additional kiosks and/or allowing direct online orders to be placed. Trust their premade options and skip any extra toppings. unless it's the crema, that stuff is amazing here. Snagged the Pure Grape and added boba to try it. Think a melted grape popsicle but better. Cotton Candy Grape - blended cotton candy grapes, there's some grape peels tasted as an included topping. Very sweet and slushy like, great soda or slushee type of replacement that's likely healthier. Drink fast before it all melts and you're left with separated ice and drink. Jinx Oolong - this is a classic jin xuan tea. Tastes very authentic and genuine. Strong oolong tea. Grape & Tea Jelly - strong grape juice type of drink with small jelly bits but no peeled grapes. I would rather the pure grape over this drink purely for the peeled grapes. Pure Dragon - because dragonfruit is a very light flavor in general, it's usually recommended to not adjust the sugar or else it'll taste too watered down. I opted for the recommended sugar and it was pretty good. Little bits of dragonfruit mixed in, I highly recommend this for dragonfruit fans. Overall, I recommend the Pure Grape more though. Strawberry Sago - very familiar with yakult drinks with sago and this kind of reminded me of that. Almost yogurty, the strawberry drink had a bit of viscosity and good flavor. This was my first experience having mochi in a milk tea. I was skeptical it would be physically drinkable, but it was--and it was so, so good. I ordered mochi & taro milk tea with black tea, light sugar, and regular ice. The taro tasted fresh (phew because I hate artificial flavors), the mochi tasted like mochi but with a texture similar to melted marshmallows (thanks to my cuz for that perfect description!), and the combination with black milk tea was addictive. I also have to talk about the cup, because it was pretty, sturdy, and ingenious--and very reusable. My drink arrived with three beautiful layers of flavor showing, with the warm mochi at the bottom, slightly chunky taro in the middle, and iced milk tea on top. There's a cap on the straw hole, so you can turn the leakproof cup upside down and shake gently until everything is combined. Take off the cap to insert the straw, cap it up again to transport the drink without spilling. If you'd like to reuse the cup, you can easily remove the label without leaving any sticky residue. I appreciate thoughtful packaging. We also had noodles, which were very tasty. That review is on the Noodleosophy listing. A private parking lot and close proximity to BART make this very easy to get to. The decor is nice, the bathrooms are gender neutral, clean, and modern, and there are good seating options--including booths, tables, and stools--both inside and out. You can seat yourself and order using a QR code, or order takeout at the counter. Two of us came on Sunday, just after opening at 11, and had no wait for a table outside. At Grapeholic, both times I've had the "recommended amount" amount of sugar and it has been perfect; Sweet, but not overly sweet. I think their ratio for milk tea to boba is pretty good and so far each time I've tried, the drinks are tasty. Ordering here is a bit misleading. Once you enter the building you see a large kiosk where you can put your order in for two companies....one for drinks and one for food. There are also table set up which is open seating, so sit anywhere you like. There are QR codes on the table were you can also place an order from your phone. Basically it's as minimal contact with people. This is what I ordered: Cotton candy grape slush: it was recommended to drink this immediately and that's cause it started to oxidize as it sits. It goes from bright green to a muddy color green. The flavor was ok. It was definitely chunky and I do believe they used fresh grapes so you'd come across the grape skin which would leave a dry feeling in your mouth. If nice the cream was mixed into the drink it started to taste like yogurt. Probably cause the drink was more tart than sweet...this really wasn't for me. Creme caramel oolong milk tea: very watered down, in fact the drink looked like it was straight milk with a splash of tea. As you drank it, you really searched for the flavor of caramel to come out and even for the oolong tea flavor to come out but it was just too muted and tasted like milk. They could be in line to order, waiting for a table, or waiting for their order, but you won't know cuz there is no organization and the space isn't that large. There are no tv's or any way for you to know if your order is close to being done or not, so good luck trying to find any type of update. I can see why the place is popular, but no boba place is worth waiting 25+ minutes for. I like their cotton candy grape slush and the pure grape. Order on their screen or on your phone. Drinks at their recommended sweetness are too sweet. My friend ordered the mochi taro milk tea at 0% sweetness but added boba, and it was too sweet. Lychee jelly is good. The tea jelly was bitter and not recommended. I got Grapeholic because it seemed like one of the most popular drinks but I deeply regretted it.
