This place's food is exquisite--I got the kobe burger as well as the devil's food cake which were divine. The creme brulee was amazing as well. My friends got the halibut and tamale which they said were good. Service was great and friendly. My only complaint is the $20 cancellation fee for a no-show person if you don't cancel within 2 days or earlier from the dinner date. I understand this is policy but I believe that last minute emergencies can pop up, especially during pandemic times. Also the restaurant looked fairly empty when I went so I'm not sure why the chairs needed to be filled as there were a lot of empty chairs around us. read more

We had breakfast today and I decided to try Chilaquiles, while the food was not bad, it was an attempt to pay respect to a traditionally flavorful dish, filled with complex flavors, their version, not so much. Judging by the long line outside, I assumed that this place was going to be amazing. We started off with the honey lavender cornbread and the bread with strawberry jam. These ended up being my favorite part of the meal. Even though both were technically glorified toast, it was delicious. I have to say, I was a little bit disappointed with the rest. We started with the burrata and tomato appetizer. The tomatoes were fresh, but the wilted lettuce underneath was unexpected and the burrata didn't taste fresh. I ordered my go to breakfast dish: eggs Benedict. My dish came out cold and I was disappointed to find that the ham was over cooked, dry and leathery, eggs over poached, and hollondaise tasteless. The place is really cute and I would like to give it another chance because so many people I know loved it! Went on over here with a group of friends after a long hike in American Canyon, parking was bit tough to find as the restaurant is by so many other places to dine in but we found some after 10 minutes. During this pandemic, outside the restaurant there is a lack of masks which just made me uncomfortable but staff at the restaurant were ALL wearing masks which made my group and I feel better. Walked in, got a table right away but had to pull a chair in as we were a group of five. The tables are much smaller here. Our order was also taken right away, which was great had a nice waiter but we did wait 20-30 minutes for our food; wish our waiter would have updated us as he did walk past us but the place was busy so no harsh judgment. Majority of us ordered pancakes, but we all shared. The onion rings aren't as crunchy as other places, but they were seasoned GREAT. Pancakes, everyone loved the pancakes. Definitely a classic hit. I got the Graces Chicken Club, which was good but I feel like the bread had gotten soggy fast. My friend did have one compliant, she got a chocolate milk but it came very warm (when ordering she thought it would be cold/iced) and bitter/sugarless. She asked for it to be changed, which was done with no extra charge and she enjoyed it after. Totally recommend, for the Graces Chicken Club and a side of one pancake I paid overall around $22 without tip. I really don't know how I've gone this long without yelping Graces Table. I've been a huge fan of them for years and recommend them to people visiting town. I recently went in with my mom at their happy hour (they have a special happy hour menu). Everything on the happy hour menu is $10 or under and the food is fantastic, fresh and farm to table. My go to are the fish Taco's as well as the crispy poached egg. The quality of the food and the freshness is in my opinion the best. They have nice high top outdoor seating. How great is it when you're looking for a brunch place on Yelp, and you stumble upon a Michelin recommended restaurant?! After finding some street parking in Downtown Napa, we entered this small but cute café-like restaurant with a bar. We were seated immediately at the last available table for two! After looking over the short and sweet menu, we decided on the famed Iron Skillet Cornbread with Lavender Honey Butter. Crispy on the outside and slightly charred, the cornbread itself was alright, but the lavender honey butter really made it! It was rich, slightly sweet, and fragrant. We also ordered the Market Fresh Fruit Plate with Honey-Fromage Blanc that came with strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, cantaloupe, honeydew, and pineapple. The fromage blanc was rich and had a nice creamy texture. Just a little went a long way! For our main entrée, we split a Chilaquiles--scrambled eggs with tortillas, tasso ham cheddar, pico de gallo, and lime crème fraiche. We really enjoyed this dish! The service was slow and the food was not very good. We ordered a pancake, scrambled egg whites, bacon and a chilaquiles. The egg whites were sent back because they were too salty and the pancake was sent back because it was too sweet. The bacon was good, the chilaquiles, mah. The host at first tried to seat 3 of us at a tiny table in the middle of a service walkway when a 5-person large table was available. They told us that table was for a party of 5 so we were ok with waiting a bit longer for an adequate table. After we were seated (on wet chairs we had to wipe down with our cloth napkins) we asked for paper napkins and were given torn brown paper towels exactly like the ones you find in bathrooms. At the same time, the 5-person table was split right in front of us to accommodate another party of 3. The party of 5 never materialized. Insulting service. read more

I searched for a good breakfast spot in Napa on yelp and based on the reviews I decided this would be a great place for breakfast. When we sat down, my girlfriend ordered cornbread appetizer because of friendly recommendations. We ordered our main entree 15 minutes later which took a long time. When she did take our order, she asked us if we ordered a mimosa. We said no, we ordered cornbread after we sat down. A party of 4 sat right next to us about 5 minutes after we sat. At the 25 minute mark, we continued to wait and wait and no cornbread. I went into the restaurant to find my waiter and when I saw her, I asked her where our appetizer was. This was ordered when we sat down. The reason why I asked where our app was, was because the 4 top that sat next to us got their cornbread first and later got their entrees before us. I would have been ok with, 'I'm sorry, I forgot to put your order in.' Don't lie to me. I've been in Food & Beverage for more than 20 years. They finally delivered our cornbread app. Recommendation was spot on. But the time it took for a quick app was unacceptable. We are now at the 45 minute mark and we are continuing to wait for our main entrees. At this point, I was getting more and more frustrated with the length of time our food was taking. What really set me off, was that the 4 top next to us, got their entree's before we did. My girlfriend and I decided to get up and leave. As soon as we were about to walk out, we saw the food runner walking to our table with our entrees. The food runner/manager noticed we were upset and saw us sit back down. He did bring us a bagel platter for the inconvenience. We were already over it. My recommendations, space out your seating and don't give this server too many tables. She cannot handle the several tables inside and outside of the restaurant. Give her a small section. Don't lie about forgetting to put your order in. Came here for my boyfriends birthday dinner and even though it started off slightly rocky due to the hostess unfriendly behavior it overall was a good experience. We ordered the tamale and steak and it was delicious. The tamale was flavorful and the steak was cooked perfectly. The wait staff was extremely friendly and made the evening special for us. It was airy and light, but still had a homey feel with candles and table decor running along the polished wood tables. The breakfast menu is fairly simple and there weren't many choices, but I would definitely recommend the chilaquiles! That was the tastiest dish out of all the ones we tried. I ordered the quiche, which was simple but good. The fish tacos I didn't like as much because the fish were kind of tough. The homemade tortillas were delicious though. Another must-try for the table: cornbread with lavender honey butter! The cornbread was seriously amazing! Crispy on the edges but buttery and and soft on the inside with real bits of corn. An egg white omelette with fresh peppers, mushrooms and cheese. Crisp smoked bacon. And a potato patty, chock full of great spices, finely diced peppers and onions. The potato patty is hands down the best breakfast potato serving I have ever enjoyed. Found this place on Yelp before my trip to Napa. My sis and I made reservations there on a Friday night. Our reservations were at 4pm since our flight had just gotten in that day and our bodies were still on East Coast time. There were very few people in there. I imagine it gets much busier later in the night, or especially at peak times for Napa. Overall, I felt like their menu wasn't that big/appealing. My sister really wanted to try the cornbread and I was totally on board since I love cornbread. It came out in four little slices. Overall, I was not impressed. I honestly like Boston Market or Famous Dave's cornbread much better than this. After reviewing the menu, I opted for a burger. You can't seem to go wrong with a burger! The burger itself was okay. I didn't like the pickles (I like dill pickles, not sweet pickles!). But I really liked the fries. I honestly devoured them and they were so good that my sister ordered a side for herself as well because she liked mine so much. Honestly the fries are what separated them from a 2 star to a 3 star review, because overall I wasn't too impressed. All in all, this didn't knock my socks off but it also wasn't terrible. Brunch food was slammin! The wait was nothing, as we beat the crowd. My husband ordered the chilaquiles and I had the eggs benedict. The chilaquiles was so perfect, all the flavors melded together beautifully. It looked like a killer mess but it was the perfect song in each bite. My eggs benedict consisted of perfectly toasted English muffins with over easy eggs cooked with soft yolk ooozing out slowly over the Canadian protein. I couldn't tell you how slowly I ate it to savor each moment with the benedict. Each bite got me closer to finishing it and I didn't want our relationship to end. Started with the Seared Ahi Tuna Niçoise Salad. So delicious !! The fried poached egg really topped it off well. Iron Skillet Cornbread with Lavender Honey Butter . I really wanted to love it but the Cornbread was lacking the flavor and crispness I was expecting. My friends looooved them though so it's worth trying out again on my next trip up. Eggs Benedict . After looking through yelp reviews/ pictures I wanted to grab lunch here with the bf before heading to the next winery in wine country. We got there around 2:30PM on a Monday and there were only 3 other tables having lunch. We were seated right away and the waiter brought over water but afterwards they sort of forgotten about us. I love the lavender honey butter but the corn bread itself was ok to me. Ahi Tuna Nicoise Salad with Deep Fried Egg: MMM! This dish wasn't a disappointment. Every ingredient on the dish balance each other very well. The yolk fried egg was a plus! Hangar Steak and Frites: The meat was cooked to medium rare which was perfect but I was not particularly fond of the marinate. I liked the fries more than my steak which was a bummer. Kobe Beef Burger with Bacon, Cheese and a Fried Egg: My BF asked for medium rare but it the patty was cooked to medium which made the burger taste very dry even with a fried yolky egg. My BF also enjoyed his fries more than the burger. Overall, the service and food was mediocre. And lunch was expensive, $65 before tax or tip.
