TLDR; food is mediocre and service is terrible. My first time ever not leaving a tip. Wait for food was extremely long. I came here with my baby, and all the workers seemed shocked I was by myself but not shocked enough to provide the proper service for a mother with a hungry baby. I placed an order for shrimp & grits and cornbread. The food came 30 mins later after I stood up with my crying baby and expressed my frustrations. I had asked two servers to check on our food after waiting 20 mins. They both ignored my request and went on to do their thing. One even offered me hand sanitizer because she had mixed me up with another customer. During this time, my baby was extremely fussy, but no one seemed to care that we had waited forever for our food. I was standing and trying to soothe my baby and finally asked the only decent staff there (the host) to check on our food. Someone came from the kitchen and apologized to us (I'm assuming the manager and the food came out 30 seconds later). What made it even more frustrating was that the two tables who came 10-15 mins after we did got their food the same time as us. I guess they had forgotten about me and my fussy baby. How convenient. This was one of the few breakfast places near our Airbnb that was dog friendly. We walked to this place and were seated outside. **FYI** if you are bringing your dog, they only let you do so in parties of two since the patio is pretty small. Luckily it was a nice sunny day so we did not mind. They have a good wine/ beer selection. We got a mimosa and a glass of french champagne, but were excellent. This place had really good reviews, because of which me and my friends decided to visit this place for brunch on a Sunday morning. Wait time was ~45mins. It is located in the center of Napa downtown. They had a very limited menu to order from. We started off with some strawberry and peach bellinis with corn bread which were probably the highlight of this brunch. I ordered a plate of pancakes and chilaquies for mains. Pancakes were soft and fluffy. Chilaques were a little disappointing. The eggs were bland and the tortillas were soggy and chewy to eat. Mind you there was a bunch of empty tables around us so it shouldn't have taken that long. Plus the food came to us already just warm. Not even hot and ready but warm and it got cold pretty fast. My glass of water also had red specks of food inside meaning it wasn't clean. They also add 20% automatically of gratuity so you can't even control that especially if service was just mid. We visited on 9/18 and were seated at a sidewalk table for two. They were very busy. Our server didn't have much time to explain the menu, but it was easy to read and understand the dishes. My main was the Gnocchi, which was good but nothing special. My fiancé had the Cassoulet, which was a large and meaty dish. Came out piping hot but was fun to eat on a chilly night. I loved our experience at Grace's Table. As walk-ins on a Friday evening, the restaurant was full but they were able to accommodate us at the bar. Bar seating is a little tight but with fairly quick turnover, we had more space in a few minutes. The friendly bartender served us, which made for quick, efficient service. I ordered the burger medium rare and it came out perfect. The fries have a chili powder that I later learned is known for being more flavorful and less spicy. Great spot for a casual Napa style California cuisine type lunch. I liked that they have outdoor seating and there was lots of energy in the diverse crowd. Great for groups. Easy metered street parking. Sat at the bar and started off with their bloody mary ($9) which was interesting since its base is a chili basil soju. I liked the twang of the pickled veggies. The dishes were are all pretty good, but the starters and dessert were the highlights. Make sure you get the cornbread w/lavendar honey butter ($6). Pretty unique and unlike any cornbread you'll ever have. The vanilla bean cheesecake ($8) is another must order. I liked how it wasn't too sweet with the chantilly cream (sweeter whipped cream) and fresh strawberries. The standout is the light and airy texture. Legit! The beet salad ($11) was pretty awesome as well. Fresh chunks of avocado, bleu cheese, and the lemon vinaigrette brightened this well balanced dish. Scallop risotto ($31) was decent. Although the physical space is very nice, the food and service aren't what I expected, especially at the menu prices. This spot sells "cornbread" but I think maybe that's an inside joke, because what they serve is buttery biscuits with pieces of corn in them. The pork shoulder tamale is not bad but mine was mostly masa hiding a small amount of pork. My date ordered the chicken which she liked but was overcooked and hard to cut. I ordered merlot that was served very cold. We both felt rushed, they got us out of there 30 minutes before closing and asked if we were finished on numerous occasions when we clearly weren't. At one point, one of the people behind the bar told someone over the phone that they close at 8:30 but their posted hours are until 9:00. Made a reservation for one, which surprisingly they were open to accommodating. I had previously called other places that would not. When I arrived, had to wait a bit to be seated but not a huge deal. Being a single, they were quick to accommodate my preferred seating area. They were busy and it showed. Staff were hustling and doing a great job of getting to every one. My server was awesome and did a great job in recommendations for both food and wine pairings. Not one was a miss. I will say that the onion soup was as expected and delicious. The only miss of the meal for me was the hanger steak frites. The fries were awesome and the Parmesan cheese was the star of the show. The steak itself fell a tad flat and needed more salt. But overall, it was good. Dessert was awesome. I originally wanted the vanilla bean cheesecake but they had ran out and only had pumpkin cheesecake. Not a huge fan of pumpkin but I am glad I ordered it. Nothing extra special tho - I wouldnt wait in line for this but it satisfied my husband's cravings :) Gnocchi on the other hand - 2/5 at most. Gnocchi is boiled, not even pan seared to get a crust to the pasta. On top of that the pesto sauce was severely watered down due to the water from the gnocchi. Not recommended (it actually made me think that Costco's sample gnocchi is more legit). If you do come visit, try the other dishes, we might've just gotten the dishes that aren't as good because based on our experience, the rating for the restaurant is sadly a little inflated. read more

My girlfriends and I were in Napa for wine tasting. We were at Alpha Omega collective for our last tour of wine tasting. Alpha Omega ran out of food for the day and honor any Togo food. We went on yelp for restaurant ideas and we found Grace's table which was three minutes away from Alpha Omega collective with a high four star review. So we decided to go with this restaurant. We walked to Grace's Table and talked to the hostess for Togo because we wanted to eat and wine taste at Alpha Omega. Their hostess told us that their restaurant does not do Togo, only dine in. My girls and I were disappointed to hear that. What restaurant does not want Togo businesses? Hostess said she could ask the restaurant manager if they could do Togo. We waited for a while before they said they could do a Togo exception. So we ordered the two duck confeit, one Kobe burger, and a cornbread appetizer. And we rushed back to Alpha Omega with our Togo food. Sat down and try our food and it wasn't that good but we were all hungry so we ate to sober up. I ordered the Kobe burger and it wasn't well seasoned at all. Only flavored by the Swiss cheese tomato, and lettuce. No flavor at all. Eggs Benedict, Canadian bacon, artisan english muffin, herbed hollandaise,peperonata potato cake: This was a pretty solid dish. The flavors were excellent and that hallandaise sauce was so good. My only complain is that one of the two eggs was busted before it got to the table :(. They should've replaced it before serving... Grilled chicken sandwich with rosemary aioli, grilled onion, provolone, butter lettuce, focaccia, house made pickles, with root vegetable chips: One of the healthier choices I think. This place is a five star place, the waiter neglected to ask if I wanted dessert and just handed me the bill. I just thought they did not have dessert but I noticed some great looking dishes in the photos later on - minus one star. I started with the corn bread with lavender honey butter. This is what I look for in a great chef, it was the best corn bread I have ever had. I moved on to the pork belly app - again, they rocked it with pear and a crostini. Finally, I chose the tamale because it looked so good in the pics. I was not disappointed, it was not only delicious but it was a piece of art. The presentation was so creative. I really want to give this place the fifth star, but I walked around town trying to find something for my sweet tooth and came up empty. I will definitely be going back though. read more

We were planning on coming here for dinner one evening but somehow this place turned into "the breakfast spot" for some of the family for our 4-day-stay in Napa. The menu wasn't huge, but it has plenty to choose from for everyone. We've ordered fruit plate, cornbread (with lavender honey butter. sooo lavender-y), seared ahi tuna salad with fried egg (thats something new!), chilaquiles etc. Everything was delicious. While vacationing in Napa, I Yelped a few good spots to check out and Grace's Table was on my list. I convinced the BF to wake up early and head here for breakfast. On a weekday, it wasn't as busy as I would think it could get on the weekends so we were able to be seated right away. After reading some of the reviews, I had to try the cornbread and the chilaquiles. The lavender honey butter for the cornbread is divine. I loved it and gobbled it up faster than I anticipated. When it came to the chilaquiles, I also enjoyed the meal but since I ate all of the cornbread I didn't have much room in my belly to put it down. I ended up taking it back to the air bnb we stayed in and enjoyed it the following day. The BF ordered the buttermilk pancakes with scrambled eggs and bacon. You can't mess up those things otherwise I'd be letting you know. They were good also. My only gripe with the place is that since their front door is one of those slow closing doors, it lets in a lot of flies into the places so we were constantly waving our hands above our food so they wouldn't land on it. The food and drinks are good for breakfast/brunch. Worth trying out for sure. read more

Although the ambiance is nice, the food is average, not filling, and not very flavorful. As you can tell in the picture, the portions are extremely small. The service was okay, however we were checked in on 4+ times in the 40 minutes that we were there which was nice, but a little much. However, I would rather have more service rather than less. We went early on Friday morning, they open at 8:30am weekdays. Although we had reservations, if you get there when the door first opens - you probably don't need them. However, by 9am the place was packed. Service was awesome. They had lots of waitstaff and my water glass and coffee were always full. As for the food, we started with their cornbread which is one of their signature dishes. It was good! The lavender honey butter was probably the best infused butter I've ever had. I saved some back for my pancake - it was that good! My date ordered Chilaquiles (another one of their signature breakfast plates) and they were also delicious. They had both tortilla and pieces of ham mixed with eggs and cheese. However,I couldn't find an actual dish that summoned my appetite so I ordered a few sides and made my own breakfast plate. I ordered 2 poached eggs, their potato cake and a pancake. The poached eggs were perfect and were definitely cage free as the yolks actually had flavor! The potato cake was meh. I thought it would be crispier and it had a lot of peppers that made it pretty soggy. The pancake? Well, it was a pancake but the syrup must've been maple/vanilla/heaven because it was awesome. They also put strawberries and powdered sugar on it - although I only ordered 1 - which made me feel special. Delicious house made and fresh food. The side salad with organic greens was huge, and wasn't just greens it had thin sliced radishes, melon, and slivered almonds. The chicken was tender and juicy. The butternut squash gnocchi was perfect, the squash flavor was perfectly balanced in the gnocchi pasta, the pomegranate seeds weren't too tart or too sweet. It was airy and light, but still had a homey feel with candles and table decor running along the polished wood tables. The breakfast menu is fairly simple and there weren't many choices, but I would definitely recommend the chilaquiles! That was the tastiest dish out of all the ones we tried. I ordered the quiche, which was simple but good. The fish tacos I didn't like as much because the fish were kind of tough. The homemade tortillas were delicious though. Another must-try for the table: cornbread with lavender honey butter! The cornbread was seriously amazing! Crispy on the edges but buttery and and soft on the inside with real bits of corn. An egg white omelette with fresh peppers, mushrooms and cheese. Crisp smoked bacon. And a potato patty, chock full of great spices, finely diced peppers and onions. The place is pretty and super close to other restaurants, cafés, tasting rooms, and shops downtown. The staff is professional, upbeat, and helpful. Now, onto the negatives. While the ingredients are fresh and sustainable, etc., the food is not seasoned...no salt, no pepper, and not a lot of flavor. The worst part...the price!! There were two of us. We got the two-piece side of cornbread, one iced tea, and two orders of the hash (beautiful presentation.) The total with the tip was almost $80! That's extreme for breakfast. The place has a huge following. I was surprised we got in without a reservation. I probably won't be going back because the flavor of the food does not match the price, which was the reason I hadn't been there in over four years.
