Went here for dinner with my wife and another couple, and we all left impressed. We started with the fermented pickles, tofu salad, little gem salad, and the chicharrones before splitting a pepperoni pizza and a mushroom pizza. Everything was really good, but the fermented pickles were probably my favorite thing on the menu, and that mushroom pizza was absolutely killer. We also went through three rounds of drinks, and with all that food and drinks for four people, the bill came out to a little over $260. For the quality of the food, the atmosphere, and everything we ordered, I thought that was a great value. If you're looking for a spot for a date night or dinner with friends, I'd definitely recommend checking out Gra. We'll definitely be back to work our way through more of the menu. All pizzas made fresh to order with their signature sourdough, and speciality flavors that are beyond your basic pizzas. My husband & I came here, & it was the perfect date night spot! Neopolitan is my holy grail of pizzas, but I was very much excited when I heard about Grá and their SOURDOUGH pizzas because cmon that sounds soooo good. Initial impression of the restaurant and its interior - my friends and I were gagged at how beautiful it was inside, like a bohemian garden with very cozy vintage vibes. We started off with this palate cleanser of carrot juice with parsley oil, and it was definitely an eccentric taste...kind of like celery but overall a pretty healthy tang (idk if it's meant to be savored because lowk maybe it's better as a shot lol). For the pizzas, we ordered the following, all of which came out hot with my absolute favorite leopard-spotted crusts, which definitely has that *sour*dough flavor plus a beautifully plush and chewy texture :D Stracciatella & Prosciutto (4.5/5) - the stracciatella cheese was divinely creamy, and it had this lovely sweet & savoriness to it - we couldn't really taste coffee-infused honey tho The Banger (4/5) - also another delicious and diverse combination of ingredients perfectly arranged on a pizza; nduja could have been more prominent as, besides the cheese, it seemed quite similar to the S&P Mushroom (3.5/5) - the truffle is fragrant, and overall the mushrooms are not too overbearing! I will say I'm biased to red pizzas though as white pizzas can get a bit heavy and needs a palate cleanser. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, and I'd definitely recommend making a reservation since it can get busy. We started with the Market Lettuce salad, which came with crème fraîche, lemon, herbs, fried capers, and parmesan. It was absolutely perfect--fresh, well-balanced, and full of flavor. I had been wanting to try Grá for some time now and I was glad I finally got to try it out! The ambiance here is really lovely, and the service is pretty fast. The pizzas were really good, but I think I might have come in with too high expectations. I also really wish they still had the Kimchi Pizza, I've heard great things about it. I definitely prefer the flavor profile of the pizzas at Quarter Sheets, which I consider a top 3 to 5 pizza place in LA. However, Grá is fantastic as a sit down spot where you're having some nice wine and enjoying the wonderful music and ambiance. We enjoyed some of the orange wine with our pizzas and the cesar salad was pretty delicious as well. Since the pizzas are neapolitan style and not very large the are not that heavy after you eat it and one person can definitely finish a whole pizza by themselves. Idc I'll defend Gra til the day I die. At first I was like okay whatever it's pizza. No -- You have to find which pizza and wine combo on the menu makes your taste buds come alive. For me it's the Banger + usually one of the special's they have on the menu that constantly rotates. I recently discovered the Prosciutto pizza which I was deliiiighted to find out is a staple on the menu + tried their newest special the Cheese and Onion. Amazing, delicious. I live across the street and come here often, and I joke around that it's always funny to see what the amuse bouche will be. It's yummy and a little silly. Today was a prime example for me of how service can make food unenjoyable. I stubbled upon this place on yelp at a Dodger game and decided to give it a try since the pizza looked good. I placed my order as I was leaving the stadium and mapped it out saw it was a 10 minute drive. So I arrived and was greeted by a gentleman at the front who told me door-dash ordered were picked up from the side of the building. I went to the side of the building and waited there 15 minutes without hearing from anyone. A cook was walking in so I asked him "hey can you ask someone to help me out here?" He goes in and grabs the host I met at the front, then the host comes out and tells me 10 minutes. I for real waited 30 more minutes on the side of the building. Not offered water, a seat or anything! Finally the host comes out with my pizza and says sorry for the wait, but this was a long wait so I asked for a soda... something for the 45 minutes I waited for the pizza, and at first he told me no.... so I said "let me speak to your manager" and all the sudden his attitude changed and he offered me a beverage. To rate the pizza now, pizza was individual sized and very good. I got the pepperoni and all the ingredients tasted so fresh. but for $30? Not worth the wait or my wallet, only come if you have an hour of time and you make bag. read more

How much do I love this place? When you walk into it, it feels like you're entering a spa more than a restaurant. And the fact that I get to stare at a DJ booth stacked with vinyl being the vinyl fiend that I am made me very happy. I want to DJ there!! I would do it for free just to get some more of that pizza. Super impressed by this place! When I tried to ask about the wine they sent a real sommelier to the table and what she recommended was incredible! The marinated olives were HUGE and flavorful. I was so pleasantly surprised to love the kimchi cracker too! It was like a bruschetta almost but super crisp and light and packed so much flavor. First of all, when we got seated, someone in my party asked for a physical menu and the waitress replied very rudely and was reluctant to give us one. She was quite cold throughout our meal as well. I really like the ambiance and decoration in the place, and despite the shared seating that we chose, it wasn't too bad and introduced me to something I'd never done before. I recently visited Gra and had a pretty mixed experience. When we were first seated, a server came by to pour still water. I asked if we could instead get bottled sparkling water, and the reaction felt oddly put off; like we were inconveniencing her by asking. Not the best first impression. Service continued to be slow after that. We were ready to order but waited quite a while before anyone came back to take it. When we finally did order, we started with the cucumber salad... which unfortunately arrived with a long blonde hair in it. To their credit, they took it back, but it definitely set the tone. We then ordered two pizzas, a pepperoni and a white pizza, and this is where things turned around. Both pizzas were genuinely delicious: great sourdough crust, well-balanced toppings, and definitely the highlight of the meal. That said, when I was ordering the white pizza, the server came across a bit condescending because I didn't know the exact name for it, which felt unnecessary. Later, we ordered another cucumber salad because it was delicious and a third pizza that we wanted to try. When placing that order, the server noticeably looked at the amount of food already on our table and seemed judgmental. I even felt the need to explain that we just wanted to try a variety, which was awkward and uncomfortable. To top it off, we were seated in a far corner of the outdoor patio where there are these pointy plants at about eye level. They were literally in the way throughout the meal and felt like a hazard; honestly something the restaurant should reconsider. Overall, the food, especially the pizzas, was excellent. All are decent, chicken liver moose was shredded rather than whole, which was an interesting approach, this semi "molecular" approach is also visible in their other dishes even pizza. Their pineapple pizza has pineapple sauce instead of whole chunk, and their anchovies pizza might used anchovies infused tomato sauce? Not much anchovies visible but you can definitely taste it. All in all it's a decent restaurant, but there's time limit so keep in mind, we had to get out because there's another group waiting. I don't recommend their desserts, maybe it's a personal taste. Tartar was lovely except needed something crunchy to pair with, and perhaps a dash of acidity. Shared the prosciutto with basil, honey, coffee pizza and probably 7/10. I'd made a reservation on Resy about two weeks before and it was easy to get one at prime time on a Saturday night. They have two dining areas, one which is a covered outdoor patio, and another which is indoor. The outdoor patio is airy, lush and filled with plants. We ordered two appetizers to share, the cucumber salad and the straciatella. Both were decent serving sizes and had great flavor. The cucumber salad was not as refreshing as I thought it'd be, as it was served with a very heavy, nutty sauce. For mains, we shared the prosciutto and straciatella pizza. I thought this sounded so unique as it had coffee-infused honey on it. You could definitely taste the honey, but the coffee taste was so subtle it was barely there. We did share a slice of New York cheesecake for dessert, which both of us enjoyed a lot. There was flavor within these pizzas, but it did not wow me. One downside for the pizza was the crust. It was way too burnt. I understand that there needs to be a little charred and a little burnt, but the pizza was practically all black on the bottom. The service was below par at this place. Everything we ordered was excellent. The market lettuce was basically a Caesar salad but the fried capers added a nice saltiness. For the pizzas, I loved the sourdough crust and how light it made the pizzas feel. The white pizza seemed a little bland, and a bit heavier but the pesto had a very good flavor. The banger pizza was easily my favorite dish, the honey drizzle on it added the right amount of sweetness. We also were provided an amuse bouche of fermented grapes in seasonal spices .
