I love gque bqq and this location is no different. The wings are always to die for. This time I had the wings of the week which were the garlic lemon pepper wings. Every bite had great seasoning and the wings were cooked perfectly. This gque location still does $1 beers between 2-5pm. Some of the locations its just $1 but on the first beer only. This location still let's you have multiple beers for a $1 each and that's a big plus. The service is always fast no matter how busy they are and I love that about gque. The 90's and music is always a plus in my book as well. I will keep coming back.

Stopped into this spot while riding my motorcycle last week and realized I hadn't had solid BBQ in a minute. From the outside it's honestly not much to look at. It's in a strip mall and the windows are completely covered in ads and their logo. If it were my place I'd at least leave a panel open so people can see inside and catch a vibe, but that's just me. Service style is a little odd. You order up front, they hit you with the tip screen, then you go find a seat. The "server" is more of a food runner and busser, which kind of takes away from the whole experience. Not a deal breaker, just not my favorite setup. Now the food. The smoked wings were unreal. Easy 10 out of 10 and honestly might be top five wings I've had, and I've put in serious work on wings over the years. The brisket sandwich though... rough. Super dry. No fat, no juice, just straight meat. Then it's thrown on two thick buns with nothing else going on. No slaw, no pickles, nothing. You can add their house BBQ sauce but even that couldn't save it. I hate wasting food but I ate about half and had to call it.Mac and cheese was solid. Nothing crazy but definitely not bad either. If I come back it's for beer and wings at the bar, no question. Other than that, there's better BBQ around.

If you're in the area visiting and looking for some great BBQ, man this is the spot! Came in, looked at the third menu on the wall and knew what I wanted to order. Food: Their BBQ was great all around. I ordered the brisket sandwich as the meat was tender and flavorful. They have sauce bottles on the table to select from and pour it on your meats. The Mac n cheese could use some work as it was felt like it wasn't fully cooked through and could use some more cheese, still good though. I did enjoy the $13 Macallan 12 shot to wash all the food down which was nice. Not most places offer that which is a plus here. Service: The folks there were friendly, welcoming and attentive. Went up, ordered our food, they gave us a number and told us we can sit anywhere we'd like. They came, dropped off our food, asked us if we needing anything else and that was it. Ambiance: Very nice setup with all the decor and wood everywhere. They do have TV's in there to watch some games, plenty of seating and 2 bathrooms. Very clean inside and plenty of parking outside in the plaza lot. Overall,if you're in the area and looking for some good BBQ to hit the spot, I highly recommend this place for delicious BBQ at a reasonable price.

As a Kansas Citian, I'll admit I'm usually pretty skeptical about BBQ anywhere outside of KC--we've got world-class joints just steps from home, so the bar is high. But when I heard that the owner of GQue is originally from KC, I knew I had to give it a shot. The original sauce wings were outstanding--perfectly smoked, juicy, with that crisp bite and a sauce that hit the right balance of tangy and sweet. Authentic, done with care, and definitely worth the stop.

The food is delicious. If it wasn't for BOGO, it is too expensive for two people. The service is spot on. The interior is packed with customers. No seats are available during lunch

Being from Kansas City, this is the most KC BBQ outside of KC I have ever had. From the smoked meats to the sweet and spicy sauces, Jason (the owner) is a Missouri guy that has it goin on in Denver. We actually went here for some wings to watch Monday night football but ended up with some free BBQ (sign up on their app for a free reward). The Original BBQ wings were fantastic and the teriyaki wings were spot on. The pulled pork with ALL the sauces was fire! Seriously, try some bites with all of them... even the Gold (zesty mustard) is sooo tasty. I liked the Original and Hottish sauces so much that I have a couple bottles making the trip back across Kansas. If you want a KC BBQ experiences without the cost of a flight or a long boring flatland drive then this is your spot. Oh, did I mentioned the $1 beer happy hour?

Ambiance this place is huge for being on a little mall strip area , this feels more like a chain BBQ place then I would have liked it to be. I ordered 2 brisket sandwiches, 1 drink and we got a side of beans and garlic mashed potatoes, and I ordered a cheese sausage spicy. The food was okay for me my guest loved it I think I prefer other places. The service was great was greeted and asked if we had any questions on the menu and food came out fast. I will give it one more try but I don't hold high expectations.

Sometimes, you crave bbq but can't make the drive to the springs so you decide to try out a barbecue spot that was at the Yelpies. You order up front and then you take a seat. We ordered the family feast and it was enough to feed four people. We also ordered the weekly peach burnt ends, wings, fries, and onion rings. The food was pretty good. I enjoyed the mashed potatoes and ribs. The fries and onion rings were pretty crispy. The wings were surprisingly good as well. I enjoyed their lemonade. Food came out quick. There are plenty of seating options even though it looks small on the outside. Parking can be a mess. It's pretty crowded so I suggest parking a little further away from the restaurant but still within the plaza. Because it is all self serve essentially, tables may not get clean right away so maybe bring wipes or try to get a staffs attention.

I had an amazing experience at GQue's BBQ. AJ was extremely helpful and made the whole visit smooth from the start. The service overall was awesome. Steve and Amanda were great as well and made us feel very welcomed. Most importantly, the food absolutely did not disappoint. I'm from Louisiana, live in Texas, and have family in Oklahoma, so I've had my fair share of good barbecue across different places. GQue's definitely holds its own and then some. Great people, great service, and great food. I'll definitely be back.

The flavors on the wings were pretty good. The buffalo wings, were lacking sauce. Service was speedy as well. The sweet tea was pretty decent as well. The major issue was the price point for what you got. Over $30 for 20 wings. IMO, it wasn't worth it.

I am not a fan of barbecue. Most barbecue sauces are way too sweet for me. My college friend wanted to take me to this location, but I told him that I'm not a fan of barbecue, so we went elsewhere. Two days later, my niece took me here. I ordered a Sasquatch. Brisket, jalapeño sausage, apple coleslaw. I got the combo, so I added a side of mac and cheese, and a soda. The sandwich didn't come with sauce, thank goodness. The brisket was plentiful and very tender. It had a great flavor, not too smoked, not too subtle. The sausage had a nice snap and a subtle jalapeño flavor, without the heat or being too overpowering. I thought the apple coleslaw was just ok. It added a fresh element to the sandwich. I did try a bit of the mustard barbecue sauce. It was ok. The mac and cheese was disappointing to me. It was too saucy, so I think they cook the macaroni separately and then dress it before serving. The sauce had great flavor, but I wanted something creamier. My bf ordered the weekly special, which was a barbecue meatball sandwich. The rest of us got our food all around the same time. He was waiting and waiting. He went up to ask about his order and about some bread, which is served on request. She brought the bread to the table and mumbled something about his meatballs still being cooked. She apologized for the wait. A few minutes later, his sandwich came out. Another gentleman (maybe the owner) came over to apologize again. He offered us some wings. My niece asked for a side of the mashed potatoes and gravy. We were brought a huge side of each. Bf didn't care for the fries as much, as they were very savory. Niece and nephew both ordered meats and sides. They were quite happy with what they got. I thought the prices were incredibly reasonable for the amount of food and quality of the meats.

Their hours say it all - what other Texas BBQ place, in Colorado, mind you, has hours like this? They are open only 3 days a week and only 4 hours a day - or until they sell out. And, know I understand why. Wow. We arrived early and sat in the parking lot, watching the picnic tables outside the door begin to fill up. We debated on when to jump out and join the queue. We didn't wait too long, lol. And, right at 11 am, they opened the doors and until we left, they had a long line of happy, soon to be, customers. The line went fast as well, but there was always a line. Wayne is from Austin and we were so thankful to find authentic (aka amazing) BBQ so close by. This is not your average BBQ - you can taste the time, care and love in this meat. And it definitely screams Texas. My Texas heart was so very happy. Yes, you will pay a bit more than other BBQs places, but it is worth every penny. We ordered their ribs, pulled pork, sausage and brisket, of course. Everything is cut in front of you, as you order it, and sold by the pound. We bought enough to sample and to also take home for later. Their green chili mac and cheese was cheesy and flavorful - yum. We had their cold slaw as well, very refreshing and we also tried their sticky toffee pudding (also amazing and not too sweet). The place is fairly large inside and you can find long, community tables for large and small groups alike. There are photos on the walls that pay tribute to the many Texas based BBQ places that inspired Wayne. They offer "grab and go" meats as well. This is easily 12/10 recommend. We loved every bite; staff helping us were super friendly and helped us walk through the ordering process. It was a great experience that we will be bringing all the Texans who visit us to. And, of course, we'll be back.

The sauce was tasty. They had 3 different options, but I've never been to a bbq joint that charges for sauce or butter. The brisket was melt in your mouth, but there are a few places in Denver that also have melt in your mouth brisket for a much better price. The Mac was ok, nothing special about it. The ribs did fall off the bone, and had a good flavor. Bottom line, the food is good but didn't hold to the price I paid.

The look and decor of the restaurant was very modern and the smells wafting out of the kitchen were heavenly! We were sat in a large booth in the well-sized dining room. Our server came right over and told us about specials and took our drink orders. We went over the menu and got fried green tomatoes and bestie got their chili appetizer. Our cocktails came out...I can't remember what I ordered but she had a peach cobbler inspired drink. It was too sweet for my taste but it was delicious. For our entrees I got the pulled pork sandwich and she got the fried chicken sandwich. Both came with crispy salty fries. Everything was so good! Our server was great about checking in on us but allowed us to eat. The manager even came over again to see how everything was. We were far too stuffed to eat dessert but I was momentarily tempted because they had some yummy sounding ones. Absolutely a must try restaurant in Westminster!

We have eaten here several times over the years, and this will most likely be our last. Right from the start the service was horrible. We had two servers trying to wait on our table of 4. One would come by and ask us for our drink order and then another one would come by a minute later and ask us. Then, when that got straightened out and we only had one server, we had to ask for our drinks again 10 minutes after the first order. One drink comes out, and another 10 minutes later, the other drink finally arrives. Same thing with the food. Sides were forgotten and we had to ask multiple times to get all of the food we ordered. The manager came by and asked us how everything was, we told her that we needed side plates still, and we were missing food too. She went and checked with the kitchen, and came back and said the food is on its way out, with no plates, nothing in her hands to help her staff. And she never returned to see if everything was okay. She thought hanging out at a table with her phone was more important than customer service. Some items were never received even after multiple requests. Waitress at the end didn't provide an itemized bill and at this point we just want to get out of this place. She took our payment and 15 minutes later she asked again, "Are you ready for your bill?" Our party actually thought we were on candid camera. To end the evening, my wife and I both had stomach issues later that evening.
