Cool, little spot! Great for a quick breakfast or lunch or, stay awhile and watch the planes and play corn hole! This is located in the lobby/terminal of the airport but it's open to the public. They offer breakfast sandwiches, bagels, burritos, french toast, fruit, yogurt. For lunch, they have sandwiches and bbq options. It's very clean and the employees were friendly. Blue sky Bistro is a counter order cafe. They will bring the food to you if you sit inside or outside. The patio is big and has beautiful views of the mountains. I love this local spot!

As if flying JSX is not wonderful enough. I so look forward to eating here every time I come to the Rocky Mountain Airport. It's wonderful and the staff is awesome!

Awesome place for a quick lunch, amazing mountain views on the patio, and fun to watch all the planes. Italian sandwich and burnt ends were both delicious & love their chips.

Buy lunch at Grocery Store and bring it here to picnic while watching planes land and take off Look, this is an office building sandwich stand. I had a horrible "Special of day" (drink was free) "Cajun Pork Poboy." Dried up deli slices of.....loin? inexpertly piled on a bun with enough flavorless mass of vegetables to keep the pork dried but make the bun soggy. Greasy French onion soup was a welcome accompaniment. It allowed me to be able to swallow the sandwich without choking. Extra star for location and friendly service.

During a long day of flying, this was a great spot for us to take a break and grab a bite to eat on their outdoor patio. The staff was very friendly, especially considering it's a counter you order from. They brought us our food, repeatedly checked on us, and took our trash when we finished. This was a surprise since we thought it was just a quick counter order/pickup type place. I ordered the Taxi Wade Turkey (hot) with coleslaw and I enjoyed it. The coleslaw was just average compared to others but it seemed homemade. My copilot ordered the Reuben with potato salad and coleslaw. He really enjoyed his sandwich as well. The portions were a great size for lunch and we left satisfied. They were very busy so it wasn't crazy fast but definitely wouldn't call it slow. Overall, great option for a bite when flying into BJC!

At big airports, you never know what you might get when it comes to food. Will you be confined to overpriced Chili's? Or come across a great local spot that just happens to have an airport location? (I'm lookin' at you Root Down!) However, when it comes to small airports, you can almost always count on there being a cute little cafe with quality eats. Such is the case of Blue Sky Bistro at Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport. And no, you don't need a plane ticket to eat here! We walked up to the counter and I spotted a BBQ brisket sandwich as a special. SOLD. From there, we found a seat at one of the tables outside that offered a beautiful view of the front range and airplane runway. There weren't any planes taking off so it was rather quiet and one of those settings that reminds you why Colorado is simply the best. Our food came pretty quickly and I devoured by brisket sandwich! The meat was sandwiched between a soft hoagie roll that my fiancee couldn't stop talking about. On the side I got coleslaw which was pretty standard, and it also came with a refreshing slice of watermelon. All in all, an unexpected solid find in Broomfield. If you're looking for lunch in the area, definitely check this spot out!

Smoked Turkey and Swiss with baked beans very good!

Located in a smaller strip mall you have to look for it because stupid me drove past it 2x. Inside was your typical sandwich spot it was nothing fancy but who cares I am here for a sandwich. Saw all the great reviews on Yelp! so I knew I needed to try this place. They have quite a few choices including salads and soups as well. For me I decided on the roast beef and provolone with everything except onions. Took a little longer than I anticipated but this place was pretty busy with dine in and take out customers. Sandwich was finally ready and I dove in. This sandwich was fantastic and you can absolutely tell the care and craft of these sandwiches based off how fresh all the ingredients tasted. The roast beef was OMG delicious and the blend of flavors was next level good. Inside as well was super clean with decor you would expect in a deli. Service was a 5 star all the way! From the lady taking my order to the one handing it off everyone was awesome! I will for sure be back and I would highly recommend anyone else trying to great find!

I asked to have the cinnamon roll warmed up and the guy at the register said, "We actually don't warm up cinnamon rolls here." It's a $7 cinnamon roll that'll leave me hungry in 30 minutes and you can't heat it up? Ever heard of someone eating cold cinnamon rolls? I sure haven't. Gave it a shot anyways and had to wait to get home to warm it up as I wasn't impressed. 9/10 warm and 4/10 cold. Should've asked for a refund when he said no. Won't be going back

This is a fairly small space but there are a few tables in back, which is where we sat. There were 8 of us so we split up into 2 tables. We placed all of our orders, got our drinks, and sat down. The soda fountain offers soft drinks from the Real Sugar Soda Co. It was far superior to the 2 main brands that compete. I enjoyed the change of pace. For dinner, I ordered the Crispy Fried Chicken "Specialty". The "Specialties" are basically a bowl with all of the ingredients listed stacked on top of one another. Mine had white cheddar polenta, Swiss chard with bacon, crispy chicken with gravy and chipotle honey drizzled on top. I also got a side of the tator tots that came with a spicy aioli. The meal was outstanding! I loved the variety of tastes and textures of the bowl. The honey on top was an added sweetness with a hint of heat. It was so good, as were the tator tots. The spicy aioli really added a kick and while the heat lingered a bit, it wasn't overpowering. We ended the meal with their donuts. They are cream filled with caramel drizzle. They are not too sweet and the perfect shareable dessert. If you are looking for something new, definitely try this place. I highly recommend!

Chicken Finger Basket: the fingers were comically small and mainly breading, so this dish was a bit disappointing. We've had better bake-from-frozen chicken fingers. I was working some OT at my job and they threw me a bone by expensing lunch. It was still pretty early when I had to make my decision so I went for some place that was open. I settled on Deli Zone. Open early and you can choose between breakfast or not all day. I have been to Deli Zone in the past and it has always been pretty decent. The Kong breakfast sandwich is, dare I say, a classic. I mean hash browns on a sandwich? Amazing. They also do classic deli sandwiches pretty good. A lot of places try to make them more fancy than they need to be. Deli Zone is slightly guilty of this but it seems like the best place to get some pastrami on rye in the area if you are feeling it. The speed of getting your order is always pretty slow. When I ordered my sandwich this most recent time it took a full hour or so to get to me and it was one sandwich and I live less than 5 minutes away from the location. I would have for sure just went myself to get the food but the delivery order was placed for me. This could be all on DoorDash but I have experienced that same issue when ordering in the store as well. They take their time...could depend on sandwich order too. Speaking of going inside. Deli zone is very basic on the inside. My daughter and I used to walk over and eat lunch there and it is the type of place that leaves cases of canned drinks around and has those plastic stand fans out. It kind of seems like maybe someone lives there but I have no proof of that. It isn't dirty though, so don't worry about that. Just seems...lived in. This most recent time of going I got the New Yorker sandwich on marble rye. This was a great sandwich and might be my go to when I order from Deli Zone again. I liked the slaw, cheese, and dijon mustard more than the Russian dressing and sauerkraut of a Reuben. I am a pastrami guy too so this was great. Overall, the sandwiches in the past at Deli Zone all feel a bit...dry. A lot of the time the moisture comes from cheese or a dab of mustard from the sandwiches I have ordered. The New Yorker did not have that problem. I also got a whole pickle (great deli pickle honestly) and a bottled Starbucks coffee. This was overall a perfect meal for me for lunch and it kept me going until dinner. This won't be the best deli style sandwich place in the world but it is pretty damn good for Broomfield, CO.
