This was my first gel manicure & I was pretty excited. I chose a color, asked for a Daisy design & even had my phone out with an inspo picture for reference. It took 2 people to get the daisy design down & honestly I felt rushed & unhappy with the result. I was charged $18 for the daisy design & paid about $65 for my manicure... The employees here are fabulous and hard working. They work hard to keep our toes and fingers looking gorgeous and I appreciate their talent time and also believe their rates are pretty competitive-if you're doing extra glam things than expect to be charged for them ya know? I do dip with tips every 3-4 weeks. That service is priced at $53 right now, and that seems fair. Whether you're scheduled or trying to get in in a pinch they try to take care of you just the same. called at 12:30, said they had multiple times available (even for a busy friday) and got me in at 1:30. when i arrived there were several people waiting in front of me so I assumed I would have to wait a bit, but to my surprise they started my appointment exactly at 1:30! I've had very hard time finding a salon that is good at designs, professional and gentle on my nails and they did not disappoint! Giang did my nails and she was amazing. To soak off my dip powder, do a full ombré set with gold flakes only took just over an hour. She was super quick but paid great attention to detail. I feel like most places do a sloppy job but she was amazing! Definitely never going to stray from this place. Was a bit more pricey than other places, but you definitely get what you pay for. if you're super picky about your nails you have to go here. not to mention super cute and clean and played awesome music. update: still coming here many many months later! always happy with the staff, Annie treats everyone like family. I went here with a relative who lives out of town for her wedding. I have not been to a nail place in about then years. My nails were healthy and great. After going here I got a toenail infection. I had to go to immediate care and have my big toenail removed. It was horrible beyond words!!!! I have three other toenails infected as well. Now my relative has a dead toenail too. I am so angry that I actually trusted someone to do a good clean job. These people are not clean and they don't do a good job. The girl who did my relative's nails cut her and acted like a jack in the box.I should also mention they did not greet us or let us get into our chairs comfortably before we started. These people need to be inspected for cleanliness. I wish I could send them my doctor's bill. Minus one big toenail. I love this place, so beautiful & so luxurious. Prices are higher then a regular salon but it's obviously beautiful & their price reflects their service. You can even drink a alcoholic beverage like a wine or seltzer, the ladies are always so nice & the man that works there does amazing toes! If you see negative reviews I think it's due to people being cheap & unhappy w their pricing so they bash their work. Yes there are cheaper salons & If that's in your budget go elsewhere. Found this gem of a nail salon. First they are open on Sunday which is really hard to find. I did a pedicure and my girlfriend did pedicure and manicure. We both liked how they paid attention to detail and made sure we were happy and comfortable. We never felt rushed. I assume the lady was the owner and she went out of her way to ask how is was doing and also made sure everything went well. I told her we found our new place. I have been going to Annie for over a year and I have to say it has been by far the best nail salon I have ever gone too. She is so dedicated to her clients, I guarantee you'll never find another nail tech/owner like her. Her shop has been clean and open since restrictions were lifted. If you ever have an issue with your nails (you broke it, the paint or design isn't what you like, the shape is wrong, etc.) she makes it known to reach out to her snd she'll get you in ASAP to help fix the problem. This was the most overpriced, shitty pedicure I've ever gotten. I'm pretty sure the lady who did my pedicure had no idea what she was doing. I paid 80$ and she didn't even massage my feet. She burned my feet on the paraffin wax so I was glad she didn't even remove my callouses because it would have burnt even more. She didn't cut my toenails after I asked her to cut them short. The gel polish job was awful and she got it all over my skin. She didn't cut my cuticles or file my nails. Everything about this pedicure was uncomfortable. She just didn't care about her job. Needless to say I'll be redoing my pedicure myself since I can do it better. Not to mention the customer service was awful from the zombies who work upfront. Terrible communication. I have been visiting Got Nails for over three years. They are always late and overbooked. The excuses are it's prom, graduation, etc. I almost always have to wait 30 minutes or more. In addition to this inconvenience, the technicians at the new location seem to be very inexperienced, and my nails are uneven and chip every time. Two weeks ago I spent over $100 for a powder, dip nails, a polish change on my toes and a glass of wine. I was traveling to see relatives in Georgia shortly after having my nails done and they started chipping immediately. When I got back to Salem, I called to tell them about what it happened and they said well you can come in and get it fixed but you'll be charged. I keep wanting this to be my nail salon because they're fairly close to where I live and the salon is nice. I have finally given up! read more
