Will not return. Way overpriced. Made an appointment , waited 25 minutes after that and got bounced around to three people for a manicure and pedicure. That's it. Nothing fancy. maybe this is everywhere here but I had to pay for this nail kit. If it's state health rules fine, but honestly to pay double what I paid in Southern CA and to also have to buy the supplies to to the job seems crazy. Pretty disappointed in this place. I contacted them ahead of time via phone and asked about the cost of a design on gel nails. I was told to send them a picture of what I wanted via Instagram for an exact quote. I got a quote of $48 (after giving them a photo of exactly what I wanted). When my mom took my daughter for her appointment, it ended up being $18 more and it didn't look great, but my daughter was happy. I wasn't thrilled about this cost for a 12 year old's nails (I wouldn't have made the appointment had I known the final cost with tip would be $75). "But oh well," I thought, "she had fun and she's happy with her nails. This just won't be a regular thing." Except that five days later, ALL of the nails had peeled off. The last time my daughter got gel nails, it lasted for over a month. Every time I get gel, unless it is done incorrectly, it lasts at least two weeks. To me, that is the entire point of getting gel instead of regular nail polish! I was (begrudgingly) ok with the cost until they all came off. I contacted them again via Instagram, where whoever runs the account proceeded to argue with me about gel not lasting long and recommending acrylics if I want the nails to last more than 5 days. Um, what? If gel comes off that quickly, you're doing it wrong! We will not be returning. They only get two stars because apparently it's cute in the salon. read more

Worst pedicure ever! Polish is streaky, they did not use foot file, barely used scrub bar, no hot towel and I still have dead/dry skin on my heels! I couldn't believe the lack of care or effort! I only came here because I needed a last minute polish change for a wedding and I knew this place was less expensive than my usual nail salon. Well you get what you pay for because my usual nail place which is called, nails by design, is far more superior when it comes to pedicures & drinks are included!!! Another thing I found out after I got the pedicure at, Got nails, is they charge you $5 to take your polish off!!! Isn't that just the cherry on top of a bad pedicure!!! I guess when your service is horrible and customers do not come back, you have to get every dime the one time they come in, makes sense! I feel like I was robbed and should get a full refund, complained to front desk about the horrible service and the owner said well basic pedicure is fast... fast does not mean poorly done. This place is great in aesthetic and they do a pretty good job with acrylic nails. Sometimes my nails are not filed straight, they come out a bit crooked and I think it is because most of their techs rush. . I'm wondering if they are timed or something because they seem to put time over quality. My biggest problem would actually be that I have not gotten my requested nail tech even a single time and I have been going every two weeks for a few months now. I have worked very hard my whole life and raised for kids. I finally retired and my mani and pedi are my grandeur. This means time to relax and not feel rushed. While having my pedi, the tech decided to soak my finger nails in acetone so when I had my mani things would go quicker for her. I kindly did this for awhile however I wanted to drink my coffee and read my book while enjoying the message. She kept telling me to soak fingers. I told her I wanted to enjoy my pedi and read. It put me in a uncomfortable situation. When I spend over a 100 dollars in less then a hr I want to be able to relax. Im very Upset and dont normally complain. I can tell its all about monies. Get you in and out for the next Buck. Hopefully the owner understands and talks with the workers and change is made. Im sure Im not the only one who see's this and has experienced this. There are other nail salons I could go to that will read this and will be more accommodating. I'll give Got Nails another chance. Horrible experience Went in 2 days ago for a gel pedicure and the lady started with grinding the gel polish off my toes...never had a nail tech grind old gel off my toe nails. Then when I asked what she was doing because it hurt she said "it's ok I make it smooth" which she did not. Instead she sanded so much nail of my toe when she decided to pour acetone on my toes it was burning. Then I canceled the new gel color told her I was done then she kept pouring oil on my leg but wasn't massaging. The whole experience was a disaster and my toe nails are ripping and tearing because she messed them up so bad. I won't be able to put polish on my toes for weeks and my toes are still burning. Then I complained to the front desk and they still charged me $38 for the painful pedicure it was horrible. read more

The inside of this salon is super cute but the quality of service isn't great. I've been here three times (each time I had scheduled an appointment online) and every time I had to wait at least 30 minutes before being seated. I have been happy with how my nails look when I leave the salon, but they don't hold up well at all. The most recent time I went in, I got dip powder with shellac on top and the shellac was starting to peel off before I even left the salon. I told the girl up front that it needed to be fixed and they fixed only one of my nails even though it was clear that the others were about to start peeling too. It's been just a little over a week now and the shellac is totally peeling off and the dip powder is breaking off. I expect my nails to last longer than a week when I'm paying over $60 for them. read more

They are always running behind over priced. And the nail techs that I have had are very unskilled. Only come here if you want a solid color no designs because most of them can't do it not even ombré. I'm not paying 15 dollars for a messy looking design on my nails. The salon itself is beautiful. However, my experiences have been not so great. I kept giving this place a shot because of the positive reviews. I never wanted to say anything about my experiences while I was there because of Annie's excuses. My last time in, I sat for at least 45 minutes past my appointment time (which apparently is normal here). I was there for an acrylic removal and full set. I did not end up getting the full set. Why? The technician who took off my acrylics PAINFULLY ripped half of a nail off. Her response wasn't apologetic at all. She laughed and said, "it's fine". It wasn't fine. I haven't had a pedicure or manicure in over 20 years and decided to treat myself today. I went to Got Nails and was VERY DISAPPOINTED. When I first arrived the receptionist asked me which polish I wanted (regular or gel). I told her regular and she instructed me where to go to pick out the regular polish. The man who did my pedicure and manicure spoke no English, but instead just pushed my feet and hands around where he wanted me to move them. The bill was $103 when I checked out. I questioned the bill because I asked for a "regular polish" pedicure and manicure which should have been $76! The Manager on duty came to the front and told me that "There was a miscommunication somewhere between the front desk and the manicurist and he had given me a gel polish. If I didn't want to pay for that I could have them remove the gel polish and put on regular polish and then pay the $28 instead of the $48". Does this make sense to anyone?? Does it make sense that I would have to spend additional time there for them to remove the gel polish and put on the polish I requested because of their lack of communication?? I kept telling her that made no sense and they should just only bill me for the $28 since that is what I requested. Plus, there was no way I could even ask the manicurist about what he was doing. He spoke no English and just pushed my hands around in and out of the water and to get under the light. I hope the owner reads this review because I am NOT HAPPY and the Manager failed in trying to make a customer happy by insisting I pay for something I did not request and that was a lack of communication by them, not me! read more

I loved coming here for years. Their service changed and not for the best. My first bad experience occurred when I went to get my nails done for my wedding. I was place with one of their new hires. I believe her name is Christy. She couldn't do my dip nails. Another worker had to show her down. She continued to mess up. I have got these nails done before I showed her the picture and the number. They were sparkle nails, by the time she got done filling them down so much there was so sparkle left. My nail was bumpy too. She also cut my finger and I had to take some time to stop the bleeding. The cut wasn't on my critical either, it was on my skin. Additionally, she was not professional. She was cussing a lot and not responding professionally when things went wrong. Next thing that occurred was the pedicure I got. The end result was poor. I got gel on my toes and it hardly last two weeks. I got a bright color so it was obvious when it started falling off. The other major issue is. I got a toe infection not even a few days later. It's been 8 months and I'm still fighting it! My toe swelling and the nail stopped growing. On top of this, my mom had the same issue. We went in together and her toe got an infection as well. Her's was worse. She had to go to the urgent care to get it removed. Overall, I used to love coming here. Their environment also changed where I feel rushed and not welcomed in a friendly way. read more

While the application of lotion and products was satisfactory, my toenails were not filed symmetrically/even, the toenail polish was not applied over the entire nail(s), and I had polish on the skin of five toes. It's a no for me. I wanted to try dip nails and they have nice pictures on instagram. But maybe the girl I got was just not good. She didn't even ask what shape I wanted, if I wanted them shorter or anything. And then she just immediately started with the dip nail process and I had to ask her if she was going to file my nails or anything? And she said she does it at the end so that was weird. No cuticle removal or anything. And well as you can see they came out ugly. She never had me wash my hands, never removed polish she left of my skin. And when she filed at the end my finger nails were different shapes. My thumbs are not the same shape. My hand look DIRTY. So for $48 I do not recommend. I made a last minute decision to try dip powder nails and this location was able to get me in a few hours later. Their hours seem very flexible and they have a lot of talented nail techs too. Staff here are super friendly and adamant about getting you started in time. Generally when I go to other nail salons with an appointment, I have to sit there for at least another 10-15 minutes because they're still with their last client. I had really liked this place at the old location. The new location is cute but the service was not good. Unfortunately, I just had an appointment for this evening at 5:45 and I've never felt bad after pampering myself until tonight. They had me waiting for over 25 minutes after my appointment time, while taking back others with later appointments. The woman who did my nails rushed through the whole process and really didn't seem to care. I normally don't have anything bad to say but had to have a number of things fixed because she was just rushing through the service. She tried to let me leave with rough nails. It took her less time to do my nails than I was made to wait. It's ridiculous and so not worth an over 60 fill w/simple design on only two nails on each hand. The nails are crooked and the woman tried to tell me what she had done was like the photo yet I had to show again to once again express what I was saying. The service was bad and I'll definitely not be returning for that experience. I felt like saying forget it half way through. I definitely won't be recommending this salon any longer. read more

I took myself, granddaughter and her friend for manicures - we had an appointment and ended up waiting 20 minutes past the appointment time to get our nails done. This was the first issue. Second was I looked over at my granddaughter (11 years old) and the nail tech was proceeding to give her a Gel manicure - I did not ask for that at all. When I said no to the Gel mani, the tech asked me, "WHY NOT?" My reply was, "because I said so". That got all the techs laughing at me - which was embarrassing. All of these technicians should never assume that the customer they are servicing doesn't understand their language because some of us do! Needless to say we all had rush rush mani's in and out in 15 minutes for the 3 of us - none of us got any cuticle work done. None of us got to soak our nails before the mani. The technician also used the same emory board between the 3 of us. I think this is a health code violation? When I went to pay I was charged $38 for each of us. When I asked about the kids manicure I was told that was for age 7 and younger. The girls are 11 - most other places have kids rates until the age of 12 not 7!. This has not been my first experience with this place and every time I go I tell myself that I'll never go back. But I thought with the move to bigger quarters that the service would be better. It's not - it's horrible. And I would never recommend it to anyone. In response to Annie's reply - here is what I texted to her: First off - Your technician asked me "WHY NOT?" and I said "Because I said so!" If it was too loud you have my apologies. I should have been asked first as to what type of manicure I wanted for the children. I did not refuse to buy a nail kit - one or 3 - I was never asked if I wanted to purchase them. The technician came over and got the one that was used on me to use on one of the girls. No one ever asked me anything. Secondly I did not bring in a nail kit. I would have bought all three had I been asked but no one asked me about them - this should have been asked by your front desk staff. Your staff need to be better at communicating with customers. . I will never do business with your company ever again. When you were at the other location I was treated rudely and for no reason as was my granddaughter. But I thought I would treat the girls to mani's and give your company another try. Even the girls noticed the rudeness from the staff and mentioned it to me when we left - so it was not my imagination. You and your staff need to know that other cultures can understand other languages. 15 minutes for 3 manicures! That is absurd. RUSH RUSH RUSH - MAKE MONEY - that's your motto. read more

If I could give this place a zero star I would. I have given this salon so many chances but every time I book an appointment they are always running very late or do such a terrible job. After going there multiple times I learned that one of the better nail techs is Katie so I started booking exclusively with her. However, every time I book with Katie, my appointment wait time is very long (30 minutes plus). Save your money and go somewhere else. I'm not even sure why they have a booking system because they don't use it. Today I was supposed to get my nails done, but I waited an hour and a half and the lady was nowhere close to being done. I left, came back at the end of the day as they reported they were going to fit me in and I sat for another 30 minutes and left. We went in as a group of 4 and had a pleasant experience but did not leave happy with the results. I got the Got nails signature pedicure which included a gel soak, exfoliation, paraffin wax and regular nail coating to the nails, which cost $78. Then for the fingers we did the dip + tips manicure and added a design which cost $58 + $6 for adding the design. I asked for Square nails with the edges to be rounded. I also asked for the nails to be a bit shorter than what the male technician had originally cut them to be and he very shortly said "No." with no explanation or further comment. I provided a specific picture for what I was looking for- which was of nails with daisies, and I do realize sometimes nail art can be unrealistic, but I did not feel like this was one of those times. The nails are thick and not very evenly laid. I'll attach the picture of what I asked for as well as pictures of the nails I received. As for the pedicure, I had no issues until the following day when my dog stepped on my toe removing what I assume to be the clear top layer? I then touched the nail to find the wet undercoat coming off onto my finger. I have a small toddler which makes it difficult to go back in for fixing. I shouldn't have left this unhappy with the outcome of the service but I had my toddler to tend to. The other girls I came with had separate technicians which did a great a job and commented they had no issues with their nails. For spending almost $150 dollars for myself in the salon I'm SO disappointed with the outcome. She did such a great job of making my toddler feel comfortable, she chatted with her the whole time, even helped her with snacks. They even played her a happy birthday song, It was so precious.
