First of all my eyebrows turned out great. I've been to multiple places to try threading and this was the first time I didn't have my my brows prepped before threading, typically the skin is clean and afterwards aloe Vera is applied, none of this was done. When the lady was done she didn't even show me the end result just said "done" , staff is not friendly she didn't even smile. read more

I had been going to the same salon to thread my eyebrows for the past 7 years but I moved here to Salem and had to find a good place.. i was excited because I read all the good reviews but I was not impressed. Not as friendly, the person who did my eyebrows looked like she just wanted to get it done fast. I would of given 5 stars if at least I would of liked how they came out but they don't look right to me. Willing to give them another chance but I might just have to drive an hour to get them done where I always have. Also expensive.. i paid $17 and i always leave tip.. Even when I lived away during college and after I always made sure to stop in at Unique Arch when I was home. Now we are back in the area and I am so happy I am able to go consistently now each month! My brows have never looked better. Also, you cannot beat the price! Great threading, expect a wait if you come in during rush time (after work, on weekend). Super quick and great shape, some places go to thin but these guys are great and just shape it/clean it up which is perfect. In case you've never threaded and just waxed before it is a bit more painful because it's not just 3 quick pulls but the level of pain isn't as much as waxing just more. They prefer you to pay in cash but take credit/debit. They also have punch cards for eyebrows which is dope. 10 punches and you get a free eyebrow. read more

I came here after quarantine because my eyebrows were in desperate need of some help. They are by appointment only now, which I didn't know until I got there. No problem, she said it would just be a few minutes and that they would squeeze me in. I ran up to get some cash and came back and was immediately seated. My eyebrows look so much better now! I walked in off the street (without an appointment), in the late afternoon, and approx. 20 minutes later walked out with perfect brows! Mandeep was super sweet and nice to me, as I explained that I didn't have an appointment but wanted an eyebrow threading. She only took a moment to look at the clock and give me an answer with a huge smile - she could do me before the next appointment showed up (she showed up right as I was getting out of the chair, so Mandeep really did me a favor by squeezing me in!)! Definitely recommend for anyone who wants to try threading for the first time- Mandeep knows what she's doing and it takes a lot of the stress out of the whole process! I've been known to wait 3-4 months to get back to Salem and have my eyebrows threaded here, because I don't trust anyone else with them. Mandeep seems to have a really good sense of how the curve of your eyebrows fit your individual face, and does an awesome job of shaping and cleaning them up naturally. I've never once left upset at having too much taken off or not getting the shape I wanted. Service-wise, this place is also awesome. She gets back to you quickly if you leave a message and is really accommodating with appointment times. Budget a little extra time for yourself when you book though, because she gets a lot of walk-ins and schedules people pretty close to each other, so you might end up waiting a few minutes past your appointment time. Either way, I'm usually out of there in 15-20 minutes tops and the threading itself is over before you know it. read more

This review is for the eyebrow threading. It was my first time getting this service (I usually tweeze or wax) and I was so happy with the results! My eyebrows look so clean and she kept the shape without taking too much hair off. I thought it was weird that you have to pull the skin around the eyebrow tight so the the lady can thread, but if it gets me these results I don't mind too much. For $12, it was such a great deal! They did a great job. I begged my now-husband to get his eyebrows threaded before our wedding, and we decided to visit Unique Arch Salon. The woman who helped us was very receptive to our concerns and made sure we left satisfied. She made sure his eyebrows didn't seem "too cleaned up", maintaining their natural shape, while getting rid of all the stray hairs. Prices were a little more expensive than I am used to (it was $10 for men's brows; I can usually get upper lip and brows for $8 in Dallas), but otherwise I recommend. read more

I have never had my eyebrows threaded before, but after reading reviews for Unique Arch and hearing postiive things about the threading process in general I decided to check it out. I walked in, without an appointment and was seen within mintues (she was finishing up with someone else). After learning it was my first time she gave me an explanation of what she would be doing , which helped ease my anxiousness and cured my curiosity of how it all worked. Stopped in to get my eyebrows done and it was done in about less than 5 minutes. I don't think the lady who did them was the owner since it seemed like she did a rush job. There was hardly any shaping done and she did not clean the brow area with an alcohol soaked cotton ball afterwards. When I say I never write reviews, I mean it. I've been on Amazon Prime since it started and have NEVER written a review. I signed up on yelp just to write this one. I had a bad waxing experience at another place a few months ago. Let's just say I was missing 1/3 of my right brow. In the middle. So I was nervous, terrified of another 3 month grow out leaving me lopsided brows. Oh, and I would be red for hours after a wax. No matter where I went. So, I finally got tired of these unruly caterpillars and saw these reviews on yelp. 5 star after 5 star review. Open Saturday. Takes walk ins. I am pretty sure at this point either the reviews or the flexibility or both are lying. But I give it a whirl. I pull in. Chicken out of walking in. I don't know what I'm doing so I try and casually call for an appointment from my car while she is literally 25 feet in front of my car on the phone with me. Social awkwardness is a specialty if mine. I am told to be there in 30 minutes. I walk in 25 minutes later and am seated. She briefly explains what will happen (first time threading), the desired shape, and that it may hurt. Okay. I'm ready. I will say it wasn't "painless" but it definitely wasn't painful. Felt like machine gun tweezers. Little pull, short lived, nothing terrible, definitely hurt way less than waxing. It took her 4 minutes to have my brows in the best shape they've ever been. I was in my car 2 minutes after my appointment time. No joke, 7 minutes from walk in, seated, threaded, paid, back to car. $14. Did I mention she did fabulous? Open 6 days a week? Takes walk ins? And it hurt WAY less than waxing? I have super sensitive skin and was pink for about an hour. Waxing leaves me RED for hours. This long winded review is to tell you to go here for your eyebrow needs.
