She offers the next day, which won't work for my work schedule so I politely inquired about just getting my $40 deposit back. No response but after a few days I see a refund on my account for $35. No explanation for the missing $5. I send a text, respectfully, asking - no response. I'll let the texts speak for themselves. I think it's apparent this isn't about $5. It's poor business practice by someone who wants to treat me as the problem over their own poor communication skills. And seriously- $5 is kept every time you cancel on someone because of your computer system?? That's actually called stealing, BTW.

I don't normally write reviews, but I've just been so impressed with this salon that I had to. I've…read morebeen going here for a few years to see Blake for standard cuts and highlights, and have always been happy with the results and my experiences there. For my last appointment I was ready to do something much more fun that I have been wanting to do for years, take it shorter and do a bright fantasy color. There was a small mix up for the booking (first time ever) and there shouldn't have been enough time to get everything done, but Blake and the team (even the owner!) stepped up to make it happen and still took great care of the other clients there. They even got me out the door in time to make an appointment I had after. I have gotten so many compliments on my hair since! I love this salon and the team, and highly recommend them. P.S. I really appreciate their policies that keep the salon a relaxing experience, it's so nice to know that every time I go there it's going to be like going to a spa instead of a carnival or daycare. They are so conscientious about their clients needs, including sensory overload and/or stress reduction. I wish more businesses understood the importance of this (even if for just certain spaces or hours of operation).

Anyway, the first photo is a screenshot of what I wanted. I saved for months to make this possible as a Mother's Day gift for myself after having my 3rd child and needing some self care. The second photo is what I got. I spoke up and said it was too light and looked nothing like the photo I showed them. I was told that I could've been more clear (I showed them a photo???) and that the lighting in the photo is off??? Anyway, someone more senior came to help my stylist "fix" it. The third is what I got after returning the next day for them to fix it. It's terrible. Not at all what I wanted. And that streak in the middle... ugh. Anyway. I'll be having my cousin cut my hair because after all their attempts to "fix it," my hair is so dead and tangles so easily. They destroyed my hair and made me feel worse. Yes, I couldn't told them I still didn't like it. Here's why I didn't - they charged me significantly MORE when "fixing it" because of the supplies they had to use - no acknowledgement that it came out differently than intended nor an apology.

Life-Changing Care at Phiz Spa…read more If you know me, you know my fasting story. Consistent, clean intermittent fasting completely changed my life. My body healed in ways I didn't expect--aches disappeared, migraines stopped, my energy soared. It truly felt like I had discovered the reset button for my health. But then... perimenopause arrived. Along with it came consistent hip pain and those life disrupting hot flashes. Both of these perimenopause symptoms were disruptive and intensely frustrating. That's when I started working with the team at Phiz Spa and added peptide therapy to what I was already doing with fasting. And here's the wild part... I woke up recently and realized something: my hips haven't hurt in weeks. Weeks! I didn't even notice when the pain quietly disappeared. On top of that, my hot flashes have dramatically calmed down. Where before the hot flashes were aggregating and fully disrupted my train of thought or sleep, they are barely a blip on my radar now! For me, fasting will always be the foundation of my health--it's the game-changer that transformed my body. But adding peptides through Phiz Spa has been an incredible complement. It feels like my body finally has the support it needs during this perimenopause season. Knowing these peptides support collagen, muscle repair, and recovery makes the changes make sense. What I appreciate most is that the team here truly listens. Erin helped me find solutions that support my body--not just quick fixes. If you're navigating midlife changes, stubborn aches, or just want to feel like yourself again, I can't recommend Phiz Spa enough. **Fasting changed my life. Phiz Spa helped me take it to the next level.
