I took my daughter here to get her nails done for her wedding. It was supposed to be a special time for mother and daughter and they placed us four seats apart. I told the man at front she was there for her wedding. I didn't talk to her in the entire time because if the distance. Plus, they make you pay for the nail file because it's Oregon law. As soon as you walk in you're greeted by a receptionist that is very friendly, happy and right away asks if you have an appt and will offer you sparking water/cider,beer or wine. Two pretty thumbs up for this sparkling new nail salon. Service starts with making an appointment with a very professional, English-speaking gentleman. Same gentleman turns out to be co-owner with his wife and they've designed a beautiful wine-country-modern space with comfort and style in mind. I'm still trying to figure out how they keep it from smelling like every other nail salon - no Eau de Glue and Chemicals! You can enjoy a nice wine with your mani or pedi, the massage chairs are good, the nail tech was thorough and my finished gel polish is perfection. I loved that my nail tech didn't try to chat with me, so I was able to tune-out and go to my zen-place with my headphones on and my eyes closed. Now that's my kind of spa treatment! They seem to be fully staffed, but they are busy so appointments are highly reccomended. As for me, I'm the newest regular at Nails West. read more

I really wanted to love this place but the customer service and quality just aren't there. I've been twice now to get acrylics, the first time for a full set and the second time for a fill. both times I was met with blank and unwelcoming stares when I walked through the door. everyone around me was offered refreshments while I was ignored and left to figure out where their gel colors were and where to sit. the (I'm assuming owner since her picture is on the wall) gave me a dirty look and said nothing. the quality of artwork and craftsmanship of the nails in general were severely lacking both times. the only positive was the second time I had a friendly gentlman do my nails. it's honestly too bad this place is so close to my house I really wanted to love it. I won't be back. I'll stick to Hollywood nails. read more

I arrived 5 minutes early. I checked in. I waited 30 minutes then I went to the counter and mentioned I was still waiting. They took me back. I noticed the light base that the manicurist uses was filthy dirty . I noticed a lot of their equipment and counters were obviously dirty. Someone needs to take a soapy hot rag and scrub down the place. The place is not sanitary. The front of the building had heavy equipment in the parking lot. I will not be returning to this place. The place was really nice super modern and they had really nice message chairs . But besides the esthetic of this place it's far from good service . They are over booked both the ladies who did our pedicures were really nice . But they were so rushed from the moment we came in . I went in and received a full set of acrylic nails and regular gel pedi. While getting my nails done I had asked for a french tip and the guy doing my nails wasn't doing them so well. The shaping was bad and inconsistent. The french tip was thick and uneven so I asked to have them fixed and he sent someone else over to fix them. They fixed my nails the best they could however I still left with nails I didn't like and had paid $160 for the services I received. I was appreciative of the fact that they fixed my nails they best they could have so I figured it wasn't much of a big deal and next time I would just ask for some else. However, a week later my nails are starting to lift and my gel polish on my toes has chipped off. Needless to say I am very upset because I paid a good amount of money for my nails and toe gel polish to least last 2 weeks as they should. I would not recommend Nails West. read more

I have been a customer since this nail salon opened. In the beginning the service was stellar and well worth the one-hour roundtrip drive from my home. Over time, the quality and customer service has really diminished. There is nothing relaxing about getting a pedicure from someone who is frantically rushing to take their next appointment. Today was the third time I was made to wait over 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment, with no explanation or consideration. They obviously would prefer to accept walk-in customers at the expense of alienating long-standing clients WHO HAVE MADE AN APPOINTMENT. I was completely ignored, so I walked out and I will not be returning. They have also experienced so much turnover in technician employees, it's hard to develop a connection with anyone. There are too many options out there to settle for such inconsiderate treatment and mediocre service. read more

Got manicure and pedicure here. Opted for shellac and color dip. Got what I wanted and expected. Nancy did a great job! I really appreciated her patience and efforts. I used live transcribe app to communicate as I'm deaf. No one knew ASL but everyone was respectful enough to adjust to that quickly. Didn't get a judgmental vibe from the staff about my wrecked nails from years of biting them. Overall- Great place to chill by yourself or with friends that has friendly staff working on your nails. Went in for a deluxe pedicure, initial impression was lovely salon, clean! But very busy, the phone was ringing nonstop. I felt my pedicure was rushed and expensive. My nails did not come out looking well done, there was a lot of nail polish on my skin around my toes. They did not clip my toe nails. The women have very thick accents making it hard to understand them and my nail artist barely said 2 words to me, so not the friendliest either. Parking is awful.
