The lines aren't very even, fades too quickly (I know fine line tattoos fade but they shouldn't fade as quickly as mine did). The tattoo was fading while healing. I mean within days of getting the tattoo. I politely asked for a touch up and explained my situation and issue with the fading. She seemed super condescending over text about my issues and I felt super unwelcome. I was unaware that you are charged for the first touch up (she told me I may need one and every artist I've been to do not charge for the first touch up). When I went to get the touch up she barely said one word to me and her demeanor was extremely off the whole time. My request and issues were not supposed to be a dig at her work but it seems she took it that way and treated me differently than I've seen her with other customers. All I was doing was advocating for a piece that I paid and tipped for. Something that is on my body forever. Even after the touch up it has still faded beyond what I think it should have. I haven't gone back since.

Within 15 minutes he'd found the right color base & powder in their all-natural Tarte line (uses clay!), had helped me pick a brush to apply the base with, and given me simple, practical instructions on how to apply them for maximum staying power and various levels of coverage. For my last appointment I was ready to do something much more fun that I have been wanting to do for years, take it shorter and do a bright fantasy color. There was a small mix up for the booking (first time ever) and there shouldn't have been enough time to get everything done, but Blake and the team (even the owner!) stepped up to make it happen and still took great care of the other clients there. They even got me out the door in time to make an appointment I had after. I have gotten so many compliments on my hair since! I love this salon and the team, and highly recommend them. P.S. I really appreciate their policies that keep the salon a relaxing experience, it's so nice to know that every time I go there it's going to be like going to a spa instead of a carnival or daycare. They are so conscientious about their clients needs, including sensory overload and/or stress reduction. I'll be having my cousin cut my hair because after all their attempts to "fix it," my hair is so dead and tangles so easily. They destroyed my hair and made me feel worse. Here's why I didn't - they charged me significantly MORE when "fixing it" because of the supplies they had to use - no acknowledgement that it came out differently than intended nor an apology.
