Not satisfied with any of their services. Gophers/voles were difficult to catch. Their rodent service even worse. They caught zero or maybe 1 and they keep billing. The worst, they don't make appointment for their visits; they just show up and go in your yard. The owner seems friendly but it's just an act. My first contact was with Lisa Keller. Not sure if she is the owner or office manager. Just one of the most pleasant people I've talked to. I was having a problem with rats and squirrels in the attic. The technician came out, she was very thorough and picked out the trouble spots. Mostly the places the critters were getting in and what she was going to do to fix the problem. The best part was the price, $395 was all inclusive. They finally got to our yard and we started noticing holes, collapsing tunnels, etc. Got to a point where it was becoming unsafe to run around and I realized that we had to get rid of these little ******* for safety reasons. We have had a gopher digging out new piles of soil, almost every day. At first, we tried to deal with it ourselves - by using poisonous bait (bought from store), by smoke (through lighting up something bought from store), and by applying castor oil (just to drive it away). None of those methods worked and our backyard has more and more piles of soils coming out. We contacted Got-Gophers and scheduled an appointment, and later Amador came on time (early in the morning despite of the traffic), dug out on top of a fresh pile of soil to trick the gopher (as if the tunnel has not been sealed), and then installed a trap into. We had a problem with a gopher on our front lawn and reached out to Got Gophers. The owner - Georgia replied right away and sent their tech - Miguel out within a day. Miguel put out a few traps for the gopher and the following week, he returned and had caught the gopher. We are now having issues with voles and Miguel has been coming out every 7-10 days to "treat" the voles. Miguel is very friendly, responsive and knowledgeable. My next door neighbor has used Got Gophers for years. We've had gophers since we bought the house 40 years ago and the woman we bought it from told me about standing next to a plant and watching it shake and disappear underground, just like in the old cartoons. When we had dogs and cats they kept the gopher population under control, sort of. Emily, our first English Setter, once brought Alan the back half of a gopher at the dinner table. He was not pleased by the gift. We have found an array of gopher and mouse guts in the living room, thanks to the cats. Got Gophers was great to work with. We were having an issue with some underground pest in our yard eating the roots of our plants. We had been dealing with some pest for years and I never caught them with the traps I set myself. I called Got Gophers and they set up an appointment for the next day. They came out that day, set traps underground, and boom! - our month's-long gopher problem was taken care of. When Magdaleno checked the traps the next day, they'd each caught a gopher - and though they reset new traps to make sure, it's been a month since the first visit, and we haven't had another gopher problem. But wait - there's one more thing! Raccoons were eating goldfish out of our pond in back. (We even stretched netting over the pond, and they still reached through it to grab the poor fish at night). Got Gophers set cage-type (humane) traps, and caught a raccoon within a couple nights, (that they took away) and we havn't had another problem. If you've been frustrated with gophers, voles, or moles digging up your garden and trying to deal with it yourself unsuccessfully, these guys are the pros! After an extremely frustrating experience with DIY methods & then trying to get a different pest control company that doesn't specialize in rodents to deal with the gophers that were decimating my lawn, I was recommended to Got Gophers by a family member in Oakland who has extensive gopher issues. Unlike my experience with the first company, Gabriel who came out to assess the holes was clearly very familiar with all kinds of rodent damage and knowledgeable about what type of critter was wrecking my yard, even though the holes that I had were not typical (no mounds) and the other company had no clue. He put down traps and caught three gophers, and the next time they came there was one gopher. I've been gopher free for a couple of months, and the grass is growing back! I had a ton of questions, including making sure that the methods that they used would not harm outdoor cats, dogs, kids, wildlife, or my veggie garden, and these guys were able to answer all of my questions and concerns. After they put the traps, they come back every eight days or so and if you are at work or otherwise out, they will send you pictures of the critters so you see what they caught & leave a note on your door about how many they caught as well. They have an initial assessment and set up fee, and then you pay by gopher caught. They bill by mail at the end (although they will quote you a price at the beginning of course). They don't automatically tell you when they are coming so if the area you are having problems is normally inaccessible (gate, dog, etc) you should talk to them about that, but they are extremely responsive on the phone, I got the impression it's a smaller size operation.
