Had our first gopher problem in 40 years, active little guy, new holes every day for a few days. Didn't want to put down poison so I looked on Yelp, Hector popped up and I called, he came within a couple hours, set 4 traps. Noticed immediately no more activity. When he checked the traps it was in there. Pretty impressive!! Very happy with his service. Felt like a good value and recommend him 100%. read more

Let me set the record straight - I'm an animal lover and don't condone the killing of critters. And for about 3 weeks, I tried trapping my uninvited houseguest, to re-home it, but to no avail. So I called Hector and he quickly responded. He did exterminate it. He set traps and re-checked them and ended-up catching and disposing of it. He communicated with me anytime he was stopping by to check traps and his prices were reasonable. If you have a gopher, call Hector. read more

I had a number of dirt piles in my backyard, and suspected it was pocket gophers. I contacted Hector, and he was able to come later that day to confirm I had a gopher problem and to set traps. He sent someone a week later to check the traps, and sure enough there were gophers caught. Hector's team came back a few more times over the course of a month, but the gopher problem was handled and the damage to my yard was quickly minimized. Thanks Hector! read more

Highly recommended. Hector is honest, respectful, helpful, and great service. I had a gopher problem for 5-6 months and tried to extract myself, but failed. Gopher ate 6 of my plants. He came and was knowledgeable where all the tunnels were and setup traps. In a few days he got the gopher. I will call him again. Also his staff member who came the second time was nice too. Price is just right, nothing less or higher. read more

Hectors Gopher Control - Caught the gopher - Wildlife Control Near Me

Note: You will be paying a monthly fee just for the traps to be in your property and not Hector's time to come and check on the traps and set new ones We've been working with Hector for a few months to address the mole and gopher activity in our yard and everything was great. He is an expert and knows where to set traps. The communication was also great, we got scheduled biweekly visits where he checked all traps and set new ones. Up until today I thought the payment was for 2 visits per month when Hector would have come and checked on the traps and any new activity But today I found out that the visits are not guaranteed, so I just paid $170 for a month where some traps stayed in our property and I saw new activity at the same time (which could have been prevented if new traps were set during the month) read more

Hector has been my go-to gopher guy for the past 3 years. Very fair prices and never pressures or upsells me for more than I need.

This guy is amazing! I tried setting two Gopher traps myself and all the little sucker did was bury them! Finally admitted defeat and contacted Hector and he got it within two days. As a bonus he set extra traps all around the yard and caught another Gopher I didn't even know I had! There's obviously an art to this game and Hector is the Master of the game. Much faster results than I got with my previous Gopher company. Highly recommended. read more

Hector helped us a couple years ago with gophers in the front yard. He solved the issue before more damage was done. Fast forward a little over two years, and we found signs of gophers in the backyard. I reached out to Hector right-a-way and he quickly came out to install traps. I'm sure he'll get the job done! Thank you Hector! read more

Hector and his team did such a good job trapping the gopher that was destroying our yard. For a few months we were trying to handle it on our own and got a bunch of gopher deterrents on Amazon but nothing worked. Then I reached out to Hector and his team came soon after to set up traps and caught a gopher within a week. Pest control is never cheap but I think Hector charges are reasonable compared to others because some other companies wanted to charge us just for an inspection. We are beyond happy that we contacted Hector to solve our gopher problem and would highly recommend him to anyone going through the same problem with gophers that you just can't get rid of. read more

Hector is worth giving a call. He came out the next day, he explained his process and got to work. He caught 3 gophers in his first trapping. Process: Uses a poker to find the tunnel, opens up a circle of lawn with a big knife, places 1 trap in each direction, puts the whole piece of lawn on top and then puts a flag to mark the spot. You can mow and play on it, way better than gas or gopher stick. Very responsibly price and shows up when he says he will! read more

Took longer than expected, but they were professional and they got the job done with very minimal hassle.

Living in the San Mateo hills, gopher problems can be persistent. I have worked with other companies but Hector is simply the best. He knows exactly where to lay his traps. I was very pleased with the service that I received from Hector and his associate, Luis. He responded promptly to my inquiry, and I found his pricing to be very reasonable. Communication was outstanding. I received a text in advance informing me of the day that he or Luis would be checking the traps, and I received a follow-up text with the results (including a photo of the unlucky ensnared gophers). Whenever I texted him with a question or concern, I received an answer in a matter of minutes. I highly recommend Hector's Gopher Control! read more
